Comfort Suites East Brunswick - South River

If you book this hotel and are looking for a suite with a pull out couch just know you might not get it. I booked a suite with a pull out couch and when I got there I wasn’t given a suit. When I asked the front desk they said that reservation only showed 1 kind size bed even after I showed them that on the email confirmation from hotels.com showed a suite. They said they couldn’t do anything and to take it up with hotels.com. After I talked to hotels.com they called manager of the hotel and they told them I never raised a concern and there was no issues so they couldn’t do anything. Clearly no one cared about the complaint.

When I arrived at the front desk on the 2nd April, 2026 at about 6pm, I met a staff that was very unfriendly and looked angry. I booked for four nights for 474USD. My credit card was usedin the reservation and i opted to pay upon arrival. When I arrived I had cash to pay for my reservation, but I was charged for 500USD for paying cash and 474USD if I wanted to pay by credit card. My question is, why is this so? I feel it is a cheat. I didnt have a choice so I paid. The hotel is basic and amenities are old. The breakfast is very basic and not continental as described. The location is good as there is Walmart behind and Wawa Store opposite. Over all, I feel paying by card or cash must have the same value and not be different.

Room could used some cleaning. We found old food.

Always an amazing stay. This place is so clean and the staff is always amazing. This is my wife and I fifth or sixth time here. It’s out little get away spot to be alone and the hot tub makes it amazing

The only I had is the breakfast was kind of gross (it’s definitely not like Country Inn & Suites free breakfast) other than that I have no complaints, everything was great!!
