The good and bad: Good: room was clean, house keeping came, staff was friendly, floor was quiet Bad: breakfast was poor quality with small variety, there’s massive construction going in the next lot so it’s hard to access the parking lot. The place was a little dated- but warm and welcoming. Parking lot well lit. Only one elevator and pretty far from our room. We were able to use back stairs coming and going which was close to where we parked. The breakfast in the morning was good, warm and filling. The property was close to the sites we were visiting- very convenient. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

The place was awesome. Room was spacious and I was able to check in WAY early. The Fitness Center was just as promised and the bkfst was more than ample. And my check in and check out took like 2 minutes each time

All went well with appearance, convenience and helpful staff. The only problem for me with asthma was the smell throughout the halls and my room. It was musky with an over used smell comparable to a mix of carpet fresh plus my old Aunt’s perfume. The base smell plus the coverup fragrance permeated my CPAP machine and clothing. It’s now a smell in my car after leaving because of the permeated transfer of odor. My opinion is if you have to use fragrance throughout, maybe it’s time for a deep clean and search for the origin smell. Otherwise, everything appeared clean and tidy. Just the smell got me.

Room was damp and had a musty smell. The Ac was not working correctly. The bedding was white and clean and Bathroom was also clean but had a lot of cracks in floor and grout. The door in bathroom was swelled and could not be opened fully.

stayed 2 nights. checked in after 4 pm on a saturday. Left the room at 7 am to go to work and came back at 3:30...housekeeping did not get to my room after 8 1/2 hours of not being there. Was tired from working and just wanted to relax but had to wait another 30 min for the room to be made up...unacceptable for $200 a night.

Were some ants in our room. When my wife told front desk she said little and made no apologies. As I checked out I also told same front desk person. I got a “your wife already told me” attitude response. Ants should not happen but it can occur. Rudeness however was unacceptable. I will never stay at a Fairfield again or at least not this one

Brianna at the front desk went above and beyond when my daughter left her baby blanket in the room after we checked out. We had made it all the way home 6 hours away before we noticed. Luckily she and the housekeeping staff helped get it back! Hotel is well maintained and staff are great, would recommend!

I’ve been at this hotel before. It’s always a good experience. The only downfall is that they are doing construction across from the hotel. It starts at 7am. But earplugs work. And the front desk had some to give me. Other than that it’s a great place. Nothing the hotel can do about construction.

There was a restaurant attached to the hotel which was very convenient we didn’t have to leave. At no fault of the hotel, but The construction surrounding the hotel was very noisy and sleep was disturbed as the workers were out there very early.

I’ve stayed here many times. Staff is great. The construction is all around the building but ear plugs help the noise. I knew it when I booked the room. It wouldn’t stop me from booking again but don’t forget the earplugs. The front desk has some as well.

The good and bad: Good: room was clean, house keeping came, staff was friendly, floor was quiet Bad: breakfast was poor quality with small variety, there’s massive construction going in the next lot so it’s hard to access the parking lot. The construction was noisy at times Overall 4/5 because it wasn’t too bad.

Clean, comfortable room with good Wi-Fi. Breakfast selection was good, with a very attentive staff person there keeping things neat and well-stocked. Liked the warm, modern lobby decor.

It was noisy I kept being woke up. People going down the hall and l sleep with ear plugs all night long plus, the breakfast food was all fake food even the milk wasn't real milk it had a expiration date 6 months later. No milk will last that long, they gave you egg beaters chicken sausage not even a breakfast sausage plus they didn't even have real maple syrup, The only fruit they had was apples and it wasn't even washed. And when I said something they said it was free when it's not free it's included in the price so no, I would not stay there again or recommend it.

Stay was ok. Breakfast timings were from 6.30 A.M but on our check out day the breakfast was not ready even by 7.15

Facilities are getting run down. Room was not very clean. Garbage cans were not emptied. Air conditioner was very loud. Stay was just Ok.

Decent stay for a night. Seems overpriced, but I guess that’s what being in North Jersey near NYC gets you. Basic mini gym for a basic workout. Staff were helpful. 2.5 - 3 star hotel so it’s hard to expect much, but that’s why it seems overpriced. Breakfast was basic, but included. One thing that was frightening is they don’t have silverware and they have absolutely everyone using plastic forks, spoons and knives as well as paper plates. Total disregard for the environment which is common in the US, but unacceptable in 2026 from a Marriott property. Also not really walkable to anything other than the mall and the attached restaurant.
