No pool, not happy reason i booked there

Avoid this hotel. Pictures are no where close to reality. Gym don't exist (bunch of boxes with broken/ripped machines). Pool has mold and is filthy. Staff is not professional at all. Lobby smells horrible. It's not a pet free facility either!

The ice machine was not working. A/C in the lobby was not working. The waffles were made from some paste that I don’t think a dog would have eaten…

There was only ever one person working the front desk and every time we needed something we had to wait. Staff was friendly. Looked like they were in the middle of a remodel, there were large rolls of carpet in the lobby, a/c units in the hall being torn apart with peices around. Room was clean though. Biggest downfall was the indoor pool was closed for "maintenance". It should have said that on the website. If I had known in advance I would have booked elsewhere. There was not enough breakfast left when we went down at 7:30, only half hour after breakfast started. If you\'re looking for a less expensive hotel without the bells and whistles then this is fine. If you want something nicer go to the Holiday Inn.

We booked this location because it was close to Diggerland Amusement Park, also because it had a indoor pool and breakfast for the family. The pool water was cloudy and the chemicals were so off it burned our eyes horribly. The overall facility was in disrepair and had a off smell. The parking lot had trash and unhomed individuals living in the woods. The breakfast was lacking and not enough food for our family to eat as planned. I will not be going back.

Stayed at property under a previous hotel name..Was excellent...Now under new ownership property has greatly deteriorated...Smoky rooms, broken jacuzzi, only 1 of 2 elevators working, and the constant smell of marijuana...Overall very unkept dirty conditions..Never again..

This is great for a low budget hotel property. Check in was easy and fast. The room was clean but the walls are super thin such that we could hear every conversation next door. The indoor pool was small and not well kept (not enough chlorine making the water look murky and the floor was soaking wet every where around the pool room). The free breakfast was nice bc it included the basics, scrambled eggs, bagels, coffee, cereal and make your own waffle. Definitely a nice place to stay on budget.

I’m irritated because their pool is closed and that’s the only reason I booked this hotel.

We spent one night at this property, and it was one night too long. This hotel is in poor shape. Upon checking in, we switched rooms twice because the first two rooms smelled strongly of smoke as soon as we opened the door. The third room wasn’t great, but it was “the last one available”. The hallways smelled of smoke. The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan, which made the whole room more humid. The facilities were unkempt - the thermostat in the fitness room was broken (hanging off the wall) and the room was hot and humid. Breakfast started to run out around 8:30, and coffee wasn’t replaced. Will definitely spend a little more money for a different hotel next time we’re in the area.

The onpy issue was that the pool was closed, couldn't use it for three days, Under maintenance. Then realized its closed by the state, the handicap chair was broken and not fixed yet.

This property needs to clean thoroughly, there was an old mattress in the hall, the pool had blood stains on the wall and there was a mouse in my room. I left earlier than my check out. This experience was horrible

This hotel is extremely dirty. Dirty sheets/pillow cases. Layers of grime and dust bunnies on the bathroom air return. Dirty towels on the floor of the closet on check in. The air filter in the room appears to have never been cleaned.

DO NOT STAY HERE! So mad I was unable to get a refund. It smelled upon entering, the owners clearly live behind the desk it was messy w shoes and stuff everywhr. The elevator was shabby making noise w crazy shake between flrs. The room was DIRTY. The lock looked like it was kicked off and replaced poorly. The closet ddnt close and when you touched the handle it was one more touch and it would be dangling. THE BATHROOM WAS FILTHY. Hair everywhr, shower curtain DIRTY w blood and dirt stains. The bathroom door was kicked in at the bottom and would not close. The tub had rust and a ring around the tub oh and no toilet paper. Called to the front was tld I had to come get toilet paper. Upon getting to the front desk I asked for house keeping no one was avail until the am. I asked for cleaning supply I was handed 4 wipes. Back to the rm sheets were suspect smelled like the foyer area like a strong Indian odor as if someone laid in the bed and ddnt change the sheets. At check out at 6:30/7 I was greeted w the same employee in a tshirt. Asked when my hold on my cc would be released he said 7days…..WOW lol. Expedia take them off your site this stay was HORRIBLE DO NOT RECOMMEND. DO NOT BOOK COMFORT INN VOORHEES/ MT LAUREL NJ THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN

There were roaches and mice in my room. 308. Horrible stay.

The location was convenient for what my friends and I had planned. Other than that, the rooms were so dirty and had the strongest cigarette smell, even when we booked “non-smoking” rooms. If this is your last resort to stay, then okay, but if not, find somewhere else to stay..please.

When I entered the building the smell was already very bad, I was with my daughter and I was afraid to go out at night in the hallway, there were food crumbs on the sofa in the room, a handprint on the mirror next to the TV, there was no rug in the bathroom, I had to use a towel to step on after showering, which wasn't even a face towel, maybe it was a sanitary towel, I don't recommend it.

Saw what appeared to be black mold in the bathroom! The bed was so very lumpy and the bedding was so dingy! Dust in our room! Don’t plan on ever staying there again. The fire alarm went off several times waking us up!!!!

Dirty towels, dirty bath tub, a hole in the sheets, a broken lamp... I don't even want to sleep in this bed. I regret booking a stay at this hotel.

The elevators , hallway and room had a bad smell. Sheets had some stains. Took the mattress cover off to check and saw burn holes. Do not recommend for cleanliness

At check in, our room smelled like someone had just finished smoking a pack of cigarettes. We complained and were relocated to a room that was better. When turning in, found dark hairs on the bedding and again on the shower curtains which made us question how well the rooms were cleaned. There was trash in the hallway and even in broken the ice maker on our floor. We stayed 2 nights annd the room was not cleaned during the day. Overall, the hotel was just not good. Random printers in the hallway near the fitness room. Trash in the parking lot. Just a junkie hotel. Definitely not on par for a Comfort Inn property.

Great value: spacious and clean room, nice furniture, very comfortable beds and bedding, free breakfast is a bonus, free ample parking, located close to everything. I’d definitely stay again!

Although the room was clean it was in terrible condition. There was a whole in the door, a shelf that comes off the wall, a light that flickers, tile popping off the bathroom floor, shower current that wouldn’t stay closed because it was missing a screw, the water wouldn’t stay a consistent temperature, the curtains wouldn’t close all the way so light shone in my room all night, there was holes in every wall tape on some, and paint was everywhere except the walls. It covered the trash can, the tile in the shower, the tile in the coffee corner, and the fire sprinkles but funny enough it wasn’t in the walls in the bathroom it was just bare Sheetrock.

Not worth the money we paid to stay there. There was a hole in the closet door. The curtains did not keep all the light out from the parking lot. The bed was comfortable and had plenty of pillows. There was noise out in the hallway at 12 midnight. There was no juice for breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was subpar. Check in persons speech was difficult to understand and didnt seem to understand English very well.

We arrived and laid down for a nap. We were awoken an hour later by someone operating what sounded like a power tool in the very next room. I assume it was someone who was doing construction at this mostly-empty hotel. This was at 6:07 p.m. Cracks in the walls of the shower.

Hard to have expectations with comfort Inn. Some are surprisingly good, some are what you expect with 2 stars. We needed a night in Voorhees to attend a holiday party and then leave for New York the next day. The hotel served its purpose. Nothing spectacular. There was an odd smell when we walked into the property but the room was fine. It was decent size with a couch and comfortable bed. Bathroom showed some visible signs of wear and tear. But again, what I expect.

Very up to date rooms plenty of USB PORTS , bathrooms are a very nice size.

Wifi did not work outside of the lobby. Also breakfast was not adequate for the amount of people there. It seemed slapdash.

Fresh paint in rooms but there is holes that were just painted over not fixed and the fumes of paint are bad. Only conditioner in the shower. The ambient lights above the bed would not turn off and kept flashing.

rhe bathroom was really in poor shape. the door was warped and peeling, the tub had no drain plug installed it was off in the corner, the bottom of the tub had large blavk defects and the shower curtain was too small and didnt fit from side to side. The beds were comfortable and the room clean. It was nice to have coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. The hallways had things stored and parts of thr common area looked like a starage room on the first floor. The pool area under construction and not listed on the website. The kids were dissapointed after an10 hour drive. I intereacted with three employees and no one smiled or made eye contact however they answered everything appropriately. b

A number of issues with room. No toilet paper holder. Shower curtain was frayed. Toilet did not flush properly. It was on some type of hyper water save which required three flushes. No shower towel mat. You had to use a bath towel for the floor.looks like they try to do their own repairs rather than using a pro. Ugly caulking job on bottom of bathroom door was swollen and screwed to keep it together. Pillows in bed were 1/3 size bricks and impossible to sleep on. And finally the air conditioner was a disaster. They had it on hyper energy save. I had a ms bike charity ride the next day and had to wake up early. Went to bed at 8 and woke up an hour later broiling with no air moving in the room. The thermostat claimed it was 68. No way. It acts on motion sensor and unless you move in the room , it’s off. I kept waking up and eventually the room cooled down. The owners of this hotel don’t care about your comfort. They care about profit and scraping every last dime out of you.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience after an incredibly frustrating and disappointing stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites Voorhees/Mt. Laurel. My stay was unfortunately cut short due to extremely poor communication and mismanagement by the staff. I had paid in full for a room ahead of time, expecting a smooth check-in process and a decent stay. Instead, I found myself locked out of the room I had paid for — with no clear explanation or solution from the management. After arriving and checking in, everything seemed fine at first. However, shortly afterward, I discovered I no longer had access to my room. When I went to the front desk for assistance, I was met with confusion and a complete lack of urgency or professionalism. I was told conflicting information by different staff members, and no one seemed to know what was going on or how to fix the issue. Despite my repeated attempts to get clarification, I was left in limbo without a room or a refund. To make matters worse, I had to leave the hotel entirely because no alternative solution was provided. I essentially paid for a stay that I didn’t receive. There was no apology, no offer to make things right — just a shrug and a “there’s nothing we can do” attitude. It felt like my time and money meant nothing to them. I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to think twice. The lack of professionalism, communication, and basic customer service is unacceptable.

This hotel is obviously a family run business. They were usually not available. The breakfast was sparse and not appetizing. We went elsewhere each morning. The bathroom had no soap, shampoo or conditioner. If it was not so close to the hockey rink we would have left.

Davey at the front desk! The whole staff! Place is not new but it is perfect. Stay was for the kiddo and it went perfect! Would stay again!

Went to comfort inn for a big event happening. Planned plenty of time ahead looking for a place with an indoor pool and breakfast. Get there we find out the pool is not available /not working. Should have been the first red flag. Wake up the next morning for breakfast 7-10. Get there at 8 hardly anything is laid out. Had to ask management for more eggs, sausage, oj. They should have someone on top of that if they are going to have a set up like that. Go to our event then get back around midnight. Get to our room and the keycard isn’t working. Go downstairs to have them activate it and still doesn’t work. Third time the desk person tries it and doesn’t work so they have a master to let us in and say try it in the morning if still not working see management. Following morning it was working once again so we go to our event then get back late and once again not working. At this point we were done with this place. We ask to speak to manager about the terrible experience they say the general manager will be in tomorrow which of course didn’t happen. Big surprise!! Worst stay ever!!!!

My issue was with the check in. The clerk announced my room number, there were people sitting in the lobby. I felt a lack of security, as I was traveling solo.

Staff went over and beyond..

Door broken. Staff have limited English skill to communicate. Guy next door was loud in middle of the night, front desk have limited English skill to understand the complaint, and not do anything worst place of service

The person checking me in was on the phone speaking another language. It was very rude. The lobby was quite warm and uncomfortable. And the breakfast was poor.

Made you ask to clean the room. After asking took 2 days and to ask again to get the job done. Had to get clean towel at from desk. Coffee in room sucks. They left my room open and not locked on the last night. In all the hotels I have stayed in this is the worst and seems like they do not care. The breakfast is so poor not worth offering. Stay away.

Upon entering the building, the clerk did not even bother to look up from his computer to acknowledge my presence at his establishment. After a few minutes of uncomfortable silence, he said “Hey buddy.” without even looking up. I informed him that I was obviously there to check in. After he begrudgingly looked up my reservation, he then proceeded to tell me that I needed to fork over an additional $50. I wanted to cancel this reservation immediately but he smiled and told me that it was a third party reservation and I wouldn’t get a refund. If I wasn’t so tired I would have left on principle alone. Customer service is a dying art and here is where it comes to die. I will NEVER stay at a Comfort Inn again.

Hotel was nice enough. Breakfast was limited choices with no meat to go with the eggs. Air conditioning in the rooms worked, but the hallways and lobby areas had no air or was kept really low. We did not use the pool, but it was milky looking. The price and location we’re good for us to visit Diggerland

Room was clean. Bed was great. Breakfast was AWFUL!

The Hotel is not maintained very well. The entrances had trash and other personal items on the ground everyday we stayed there. The floor in the main lobby didnt look like it had beed cleaned or mopped in a few days. The free breakfast was not very good or appetizing. It just seemed the hotel was run down. I stayed there about 3 years ago and it was much better.

It smelled like eggs soon as you walked in to check in, I read a comment about the ice machine being broken and it’s still broken, pool semi clean , breakfast was horrible and other comfort suites breakfasts are way better 1 pitcher of orange juice by the time I came down at. 810 am no orange juice, container with the water have a false illusion of being cold and it wasn’t and even down to them putting lemon infused and it was just warm water lol

Breakfast was not replenished. First morning no butter. Second morning butter was frozen. Door latch is broken. Elevator was dirty. Some of the staff were not very pleasant. I wouldn't stay there again. Wouldn't have stayed the second night but it was non refundable.

I did not like the fact that the host did not make the waffle better correctly. It was watery and everyone stood there and was trying to make waffles and they would not complete not good one. It was watery on Saturday 8 /9and 8/10 morning. And kids want more than Cheerios and corn flakes. They want rice krispies or raisin brand. A different variety. They're just being cheap. The bed was okay. And you need a car

Really enjoy staying here. The staff are very friendly. The rooms in the facility was nice and clean. Breakfast was very tasty. I would recommend to anyone not too expensive either. God bless all (John 3:16)
