Hanover Marriott

The pool was closed indefinitely- there was no sign notated anywhere. The customer service was dry and not very friendly- had to go down to front desk several times bc key cards didnt work and there wasnt even a hair dryer in the room. There was only one restaurant that was open we were told and there was coffee in the room but no water to be able to use for it. The room was clean and nicely updated but overall dissapointing hotel stay and lack of ammenities for the cost.

I attended a milestone high school reunion and stayed here along with 150 of us. The party was held in a banquet room on site. Everything was wonderful including food. My only concern is the removal of a manila folder with my trip info and a $100 Visa gift card I was planning to give to the organizer. I know I should’ve used the safe!!

Not as great as you would think. The hotel charges $15 per night per car for self park in a destination that everybody drives to. Kinda scammy if you ask me bc the charge is not made readily known until you get there. Also the gorgeous pool in the photos? Closed indefinitely. Disappointing. The room was average nice but after paying all those extra charges it isn’t worth it.

Reception staff was totally rude and non courteous. We were a couple and they just provide one bottle of complementary water bottle. After paying such a big amount for stay thay still charge $15 per night parking charges. Ridiculous

The hotel was clean, well maintained. The Irish Pub in the hotel was excellent. But the hotel nickel 7 times you unless you`re one of tgheir club members. For instance there`s an exorbitant daily fee for WiFi if you`re not a member. For the price range, local competetors offer a better deal.

The only restaurant onsite doesnt open until 5pm so no place onsite for lunch. The coffee creamer in the room was bad and curdled my coffee, the pool is closed indefinitely, and my iron was broken. Overall, It was clean with comfortable beds and parking was free.

no need to pay for parking when hotel fee was twice the surrounding cost

While the staff is friendly and the rooms are clean, parking is $15/night. There is also no free internet in the room unless you become a member.

Property has no indoor pool but the picture in google still showed the pool. The room rate didn’t include wifi, however, wifi fee was still charged even when we didn’t use the wifi.

The hotel needs major updating. The shower had mold around the bottom. The bathroom is in need of repairs. The furniture in the room is beat up. And, the small refrigerator is dirty. The soap dish is old and dirty. I have stayed here many times for years, and renovations are needed in each room!

The shower had mold and dirty stopped up. Drains pillows were flat as a board. And they charge for Wi-Fi not even courtesy cup of coffee and they charge for parking overnight not a good thing.

Great hotel! Super clean. Very modern. Great staff. A great place to stay!

I didn’t like that I couldn’t sleep in the bed and left early in the morning because instead of changing the sheets, they were turned over on the wrong side and disgusting. I paid good money for the room and at the Marriott I expected better

I have stayed here before and was great but this time I will say the comforter was stained and room did not get cleaned also day we where checking out found someone else’s socks under chair so makes me wonder how well room was cleaned before us

The hotel has friendly helpful staff. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for visiting family in Morris County.

This hotel is such a disappointment. I’ve stayed in numerous properties and this is the worst based on rooms and customer service. Front desk couldn’t find my reservation that was paid for. After 1 am floors below were so loud couldn’t sleep and our room was on the 5th floor. Air conditioning won’t go below 68 Overpriced for what you get.

Loud wedding/party late into the night.

This is a lovely Marriott. It has a corporate/meeting type feel which isn’t surprising given the area. Staff was lovely. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms are in good shape, not huge but not small either. Huge TVs! Very solid chain hotel.

Had people there all night that would not shut up had to call the cops

Let me start with the positive. Upon entering, I found the hotel to be clean and inviting and the staff friendly and welcoming. When I check in, I informed the clerk that I was a light sleeper and requested a room as far away from active areas as possible. He put me in a room two doors down from the front desk, which is probably the second noisiest room in the hotel. On my second night there, at 11:00 pm, the noise level was unbearable, so they put me in a room on the 7th floor, in the back. Why didn't you do that on day one? There were also major problems with the TV. I had to make three requests for a new remote control before I receives on and three visits from technicians to address issues with the TV's network connection, which I finally fixed on my own. There is an Irish-style restaurant/bar, Auld Shebeen, in the hotel. The wait staff and bartenders were great! The fish and chips were probably some of the best I've ever had. Unfortunately, the rest of the food was sub-par. The cottage pie was bland and unappetizing. The burger would have been good had it not been server on a bun that felt like it had been in the fridge for a month, The Marriott is significantly more expensive than other hotels in the area, yet there is no free coffee in the lobby, no breakfast, no justification for the inflated price.

I really enjoyed my stay.However, I ran into language barriers from two housekeeping staff members when I really needed their help with something. I must say Walmart has a better system when it comes to this. Also, the way parking is enforced IS NOT guest friendly. I've stayed in Marriott hotels in at least 5 states,sometimes twice in the same hotel and this was my worse parking encounter.

overall experience was very poor with unfriendly staff service and lack of basic structures as a "4 star" hotel. For example, only one very old drip coffee machine along with limited paper cups in the room. Even upon request, no kettle was available from the entire hotel, so if you want to make some hot tea in your room, you are out of luck! The hotel feels like a one or two star facility overall.

We stood there as it was the host location for a dance competition, the room was clean and has what we needed. Convenient location with ample parking and the food was good.

It said breakfast included when I booked it but when I went to go for breakfast they said you pay separately. It should be clarified better for less confusion when booking.

Staff was very helpful, it's great to have the restaurant in the lobby however keep in mind the restaurant does not open until 3pm on Sundays :(.
