We stayed in the property for 1 night. The location is good right of the I95 and had good market nearby. Rooms were ok but bathroom door was broken and getting stuck and impossible to open for kids. Staff was not on front desk a lot of the times and the breakfast was a fluke. They had muffins and coffee. We asked for kitchen utensils and they didn't have most of the things available. It is ok just for staying the night but not really a pleasing experience.

They have a garage area that is empty everyday. And the garage be piling up that in which can bring rodents too the area.

There are no tee pots or coffee makers in rooms despite the name "suites".

It's seen better days. A lot of loitering both in and outside of the hotel. No point in a kitchenette when no pots, pans, utensiles, etc are available. Bathroom shower stall was beat to hell with cracks in wall, busted stopper. I stayed as long as it took for me to repack and check out.

Tub has hair in it and plug does not work. Front doors are difficult to open. Sign in room says they will deliver utensils to your room. I had to go to desk to get a fork, that was ulled out of a drawer in the back. It was not wrapped or anything. Had to wash it with hand soap bar.

Limited Kitchen supplies.

Pros: Quick check-in, lots of parking, near restaurants and shopping, elevator access. Cons: The staff told me if I needed anything to call and they would help but when I asked for drinking cups usable in the microwave, I was told they had nothing…yet the next morning, another guest was showing me his porcelain cup he got from guest services. Frustrating. But that was the least of my complaints. The room we had in an upper floor smelled of “wet dog”. It was absolutely filthy and is in desperate need of repairs. The floor in the entry/kitchenette was soft and saggy. We also didn’t sleep because our heater made so much noise! I took a video but can’t post it here. I showed the morning staff and requested a call from the manager but of course that didn’t happen. Awful stay, awful service. Go elsewhere if you can.

Dirty

The room was not clean, there was mold in the shower. The inside of the toilet was dirty, the microwave had food in it and so did the fridge.

DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY. Unsafe and dirty room. They kept low light so no one see stains and bugs on bed. Bedsheet had dark spots and my daughter couldn’t sleep. I would rather sleep in my car.

Horrible beyond horrible stay! The hotel was dirty, smelled bad and the place looked pretty badly beat up.

Very poor cleanliness

The room was absolutely disgusting. It smelled awful as soon as you come off the elevator. The tub was dirty and looked like it had mold on it. The shower curtain rod was hanging out of the wall. The “clean” towels were definitely not clean. The bathroom sink was stained. The carpets were ripped up and felt dirty. The only thing that stopped us from leaving and finding another place to stay was that the sheets were clean.

The place was very dirty, especially the bathroom and the bed. I found cockroaches in the bathroom, and the smell was horrible. I asked to be moved, and they told me it looked like that because it was going to be repaired, but honestly, it was more about dirt than any repairs. I will never go back to that place. I didn’t feel safe with all that filth. 0 out of 10. I also have picture for proof!

I stayed here was bit by bed bugs , illy son blanket while i was filing it had a bed bug on it from the bed we woke up all bit up . 23 weeks pregnant it was the worse experience of my life what was suppose to be a 3 day stay turned into a few hours . It was so sad and they refuse to refund me the other days i did not step foot there even with evidence

Place was dirty, shower had mold. Side of the bed smelt like vomit. Looked like poop on the wall by tge toilet paper. Tgis is only a few things there is more! Just nasty. When we arrived our door was open. I didnt feel safe

It was dated which is fine but the bathroom was dirty. The grout had huge black spots in the shower. It was so bad I didn’t even shower

This facility is in poor condition with really ugly stained carpets, lot of trash in the parking lot, broken, shower curtain, poorly draining shower tub, and lack of kitchen utensils.

The room is spacious, but when you enter there is a persistent smell of humidity, I had to turn off the refrigerator because it was ringing all the time, the air conditioning is also very noisy and wakes you up at night, the bathroom is super old, the tub is stained, they only leave one soap and one sachet of shampoo, the towels were stained. The breakfast they offer is not a breakfast, it is a coffee station with a basket of pastries, there is little privacy, you can hear everything that the people who pass by the corridor say, but the most unpleasant thing of all is that during the 4 days and three nights that I stayed, THEY NEVER CLEANED my room,

The room was wonderful and the staff were the nicest people in the world. I would just encourage them to upgrade the wifi. The signal was extremely weak.

Bathroom faucet leaked over all our stuff in bathroom counter, iron didn’t work, pillows not great.

The property is in terrible shape, and if it weren’t for the location, it would not have much occupancy. The bathroom is dated and not maintained, and the ventilation system makes it so that you can smell what everyone else is cooking.

For a one night stay it was fine. I wouldn’t have wanted to be there long. Never felt unsafe, was just minor things like bathroom faucet leaking and bad shower pressure.

I had a very stressful trip travelling with my disabled son, Justin was awesome, he went above and beyond to accommodate us, and make it much easier. Also wanted to thank Jasmine for her kindness and caring towards my son...these 2 are a great asset to this motel!

The hotel is okay. Not fancy not ugly...average. Beds are nice. I had issues with the housekeeping service. I was supposed to get my room cleaned a week in my stay, it never happened. I asked about and nothing. There was a constant fishy smell on the third floor. Breakfast to go is very limited, the same thing everyday...it gets the job done but its disappointing for a "breakfast included" advertisment. Overall, its not bad but its not good.

Rooms were not as pictured. There were several stains on the floor. There were no blankets for the pullout couch and when we called the front desk (repeatedly), no one answered. The staff admitted that the front desk had no staff at it for at least an hour between 10pm and 11pm. My parents room had no bath towels. If you want dishes or a coffee maker, you need to request them in advance- they are not automatically provided despite being an extended stay. The bed was comfy but the pillows were flat.

My stay was ok. The employees ,except for one, were very helpful and friendly. There’s that person that made it challenging to talk and ask.

Our recent stay at Extended Stay America at Woodbridge was nothing short of a nightmare. We had booked and confirmed two studio suites well in advance only to arrive and be told that the hotel was overbooked. The front desk person, Juwaan, displayed a shocking lack of professionalism and courtesy. He was extremely unhelpful and rude and could not handle the situation at all. Since the hotel was overbooked he only provided us one room and for the second room he sent us to a nearby Piscataway Extended stay where apparently there was only one room left. In spite of knowing there is only one room available in another hotel he sent one more guest to the same hotel. Unfortunately, the other guest reached there before us and we were left with just one room for the night despite having confirmed reservations. To add insult to injury, we have yet to receive a refund for the room we never received. The one room we were left with, it was in deplorable condition. There was no soap, the carpet was torn and tattered, and the cabinet doors were broken. The bathtub was in bad shape and overall the room condition was extremely bad. This experience has been nothing short of a disaster. Extended Stay America's utter disregard for customer service, coupled with the appalling condition of the room, reflects a severe lack of care for their guests. We do not recommend staying at this establishment, as it left us without a room and provided subpar accommodations. Avoid this place at all costs!

Most pathetic experience check in experience. I waited for long time at check-in. There was a signed board at front desk that front desk is helping another guest. So kindly wait. After long time, I found note to call dial 0 for urgent service. I dialed 0 & AA Front desk came from his room & was sleeping , not helping anyone. I gave him my name & he could not find my reservation then I gave him confirmation # . That guy was so sleepy & not intend to check me in. I was early check in & guy told me he would charge me double. I said ok. But still making excuse for not check me in. Almost 30-45 mins he took but still no check me in. I was about 12 hrs continue driving & tired. Finally new shift front desk came. Took my ID , check me in in a mi ute & no double charge , just half extra charge for my early check in.

Overall my experience was average. My family and I stayed in a King Bedroom Suite with a pull out couch. We had to ask 3 times for bedding for the pull out couch before it was given to us. The complimentary breakfast is more of a grab and go breakfast with pre packaged food and coffee only. There’s no smoking inside the hotel, however the entrance smelled of smoke which I felt was unsafe for our 2 month old. I recommend moving the smoking areas to the back of the building or off to the far sides of the building.

It's right off the highway and just across the highway from the hotel. There's plenty of choices places to eat and Walmart and Wawa's and the gas station staff here is pretty easy-going and nice.

Budget friendly for folks who would rather spend money on sights and meals! Clean, comfortable, excellent staff, close to the EWR airport, though the taxi service is rather expensive. I'd stay again given the opportunity!

Walkable to dinning options

What we liked - the location was perfect for a nice little getaway. Walkable to stores; able to drive to stores/mall if needed. What we didn’t like - the hotel can use a major upgrade and the beds were very hard!!

Room was clean and TV was easy to use. Hotel was set off the busy main road a few blocks and near Fords Park, making it a relatively quiet place in a busy area. I would stay there again.

Misleading Listing and Poor Conditions – Not Family-Friendly I recently stayed at Extended Stay America Suites Newark Woodbridge after booking through Expedia, where it stated that breakfast was included. However, the “breakfast” was extremely basic—just tea, coffee, chocolate bars, and cupcakes. This is not a full breakfast by any standard and was quite misleading. The overall experience at the hotel was very disappointing. The hallways constantly smelled bad, with lingering odors of food, garbage, and even weed. The place felt unclean, noisy, and unsafe, and definitely not suitable for families. It also became clear that many people are living in the hotel long-term, likely while transitioning into permanent housing. This created a very different environment from a typical hotel—it felt more like a residential facility than a place for short stays or vacations. The bathroom was not clean, and the shower curtain was not hanging properly. The air conditioner was faulty and made loud, disturbing noises, which made sleeping difficult. Despite all this, I will say the staff were polite and helpful, which was the only redeeming aspect of the stay. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to families or travelers looking for a clean, quiet, and comfortable stay. Expedia should be more transparent in its listings to avoid misleading guests about the nature of the property and the amenities offered.

The in room phone never worked. The smoke detector chirped continuously even after the battery was replaced. It was finally fixed but after numerous requests to do so. The hallways were very hot with heat blowing from the vents even though it was 90 degrees outside. The breakfast was woefully inadequate. Only instant oatmeal was offered and coffee with no creamer option.

The breakfast offered was not good at all. Improvement should be made in this area.

A granola bar and a bag of oatmeal is not much of a breakfast. It is not what I consider a breakfast.

You get only Coffee and Sugar in complimentary breakfast. Don’t fall for it. Otherwise ok to stay, the bathroom needs to be updated.

Not sure how this place earned 3 stars. On a very generous day it would be 2 stars. Dirty, bathroom was moldy and check in person had a bad attitude. *It was advertised to have a free breakfast, but all it had was coffe and a few breakfast bars and a few packets of oatmeal. Very misleading! Was not worth the price.

Old and outdated. Looks okay outside but inside is run down. Weird smells in the hallway. Floor of shower tub looks dirty. Leaky shower faucet. Weird smell in the room. Noisy as heck. No breakfast. Do not advertise breakfast when there is none.

Property was as dirty as I’ve ever seen. Grab and go breakfast did not exist. Room had mold in the bathroom carpeting was so dirty could not walk on it without getting my feet filthy. I will never book this hotel ever again. Skunks all over the outside of the. Building. Could not use A/C without it sucking in skunk air from outside. Paid 93.00 a night for 4. Nights it wasn’t worth 50.00 not 373.00 that I paid.
