Holiday Inn & Suites Albuquerque Airport by IHG

The main advantage of the hotel is its proximity to the airport and the on time shuttle service. The staff is helpful and courteous. The rooms are not terribly functional. The coffee maker was located in the corner so high I couldn’t reach it ( 5’2”). There wasn’t much in the way of counter space in the bathroom. We used the gym, but found a couple machines didn’t work at all. The glass by the pool was dirty and the pool itself didn’t look particularly clean.

The staff were especially good. The room was comfortable and quiet. The food in the breakfast buffet was better than the usual hotel buffet. My only complaint is that I had difficulty getting into the very tall bed. Why don't hotels realize that not everyone is 6 feet tall? I appreciated the free airport shuttle.

VERY disappointed that they did not have a free continental breakfast 😡

Very clean building hot tub was excellent. Bar was very clean good drinks and friendly staff. Breakfast was not really good.
