TownePlace Suites by Marriott Albuquerque Airport

The room was clean, no issues. Staff was super friendly checking in. Overall, very. Satisfied. The bed SUCKED. It was super thin and I felt the springs, every time I moved… so did my sister. Sleep was horrible. But the from was great. Breakfast was delicious.

I'll never stay here again. Two reasons... Reason 1. I had made a mistake on the dates of my reservation. I was a week off when I made the reservations online (my bad). When I went to check in, I found this out. The good: I got a room anyway. The bad 1: I paid full price (about 30% more than my previous reservation price). The bad 2: I was not refunded my payment for the incorrect reservation (even though I was still staying there now). All requests were ignored. So great - they got a free $575. But they lost repeat business for sure (I go to Alb 3-4 times per year). Reason 2: My room was next to an exterior door that slammed shut every time it was used. The noise was so loud that it would vibrate though the bed. This started about 4:50 am and ended about 11pm. Needless to say, my sleep really sucked.

Excellent overall. The breakfast was good and the attendant did a nice job of keeping up considering how busy it was. They kept cookies, water and coffee/tea out all day. The only thing that kept five stars was false hopes. We landed super early and got to the hotel at 7 am. We of coarse didn’t expect to get in that early, but it seemed we were told they’d get us in ASAP and would try to expedite the cleaning of our room. We actually didn’t get a call until after check in! I wish I would’ve just been told from the get go,so I didn’t think we had a chance. But the staff were kind and helpful, held our bags and tried to be accommodating.
