Gentleman @ ck in was nice. When I reserved my room I put I would need a bottom room for I' am on oxygen w/service dog & can't walk stairs or distance. There is no parking in front so you have to park in back & walk around to the side entrance to get in I guess because the back door doesn't work. He did give me a room @ the very end on the bottom next too the door. It was still a struggle for me to make several trips back & forth & not have my oxygen tank on. The breakfast wasn't much to speak off unless you wanted waffles or cereal. The juice dispensers were both empty. No pastry's, fruits & only boiled eggs. Beware that ck out time is 10am unlike most places 11am. I killed some kind of a bug on the floor when I 1st sat down on the bed. There was a brown spot & a black mark on the bed sheet. Only shampoo to wash your hair with. The room was freezing cold. The wall unit was an old one so you couldn't set a temp. It took about an hour for the room too start to feel warm. Then you had to leave it on all night & listen to it running & the TV would only go so high you could barely hear it over the heater. I have too say the only good thing about my stay was the gentleman that checked me in & out. Stayed at better property's for a less amount.

This motel was good for the price that we paid. The ice machine was down when we were thwre.

Wasn't comfortable with the main door on the west end being unlocked.

Several issues in the Room I stayed in (106). The toilet roll holder broken, the AC unit was loud, luckily it sounded like there was a torrential downpour outside so had a “white noise” effect. The hostess that greeted me was very helpful and friendly. Parking wasn’t an issue either, my car was literally on the other side of the window.

Checked in at 2:50, the desk clerk made a negative comment as soon as I walked in " oh I guess people is can't read, he had a paper sign taped to the window that was above my eye level so I didn't see it. Whatever, the hotel is really run down, the roof was leaking in so many places, water puddles throughout the hallway. They tried to do a remodel in the rooms and the floor looks like a 4 year old did it. Breakfast selection was pathetic, but no bed bugs 🐛.

The bed was okay however sleep was marred as the pillows were small and very lumpy. Breakfast was virtually non-existent. We went at 7am. Juice machine was out of order, no hot water for the oatmeal or tea. There was bread and a waffle maker however no butter. When I asked I was told that there was no butter or margarine left. When I stated I was surprised, i was told to get over it. The ice machine was out of order. Breakfast had lukewarm coffee, 2 packs of mini doughnuts, bread with nothing to put on it, packages of oatmeal however no way of preparing it, and cereal with milk that was not very cold. No redeeming features. Even the person at the front desk in the morning was a grumpy, dismissive individual.

Good room for the price. Just note, HOTELS.COM indicates the property has an Electric Vehicle Charging Station…they do not.

Property kinda sketchy. No lock on the outside door to the hotel. So anyone could walk in to the building. Outside screens ripped, and bent, i think people lived there also. Paid by the week/month. Wasnt noisy, but just gave off a weird vibe. Out skirts of town.

There was a whole part of the ceiling in the stairwell that had a chunk of the ceiling exposed-it looked like it was possibly contaminating by asbestos. The bed was comfortable but the paint in the room looked like water damage and looked like they ran out of paint.

Room 121 was most excellent. Clean. Everything worked. Everything was completely comfortable. The front desk experience was robotic but friendly. THE BREAKFAST WAS AN INEDIBLE LET DOWN😝😝😝 I had the option to stay in a less expensive motel with no breakfast included but I spent the extra five bux to stay here for hopefully a nice Continental breakfast. WHAT I SHAME! There were two bagels in a Walmart Great value bag and the last 4th end butt of a loaf of bread also in a store plastic bag. No fruit. Empty fridge. I don't know what the waffles were made of but it seemed like tasteless cardboard. Could not eat. Nothing at all to drink except coffee yet it too was Was horrible The breakfast clerk seemed like a zombie: The only words I heard them mumble was "what's wrong?" It was a very nice room however and for the price worth it, and I did enjoy my stay there 🙏

The bed was itchy, could not sleep all night, and left with bug bites the following morning.

Price was fine for a 1 night stay, but the room was horrible. The bathroom was dirty, I don’t know if the sheets had been cleaned but had some blood stains, I know I should’ve went to the front desk but we had been driving from Tennessee trying to get home to AZ, we just needed some sleep. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone not plan to stay here again.

Everything was fine for the price, except there was bedbugs.

Upkeep is not keeping up... Window screen frame bent, not sealed. Paint peeling/mold on ceiling in bathroom, coming off drywall completely behind toilet to shower below 3'. .

Hotel staff were friendly and courteous. The property itself seems a little run down, but the room we had for our stay was fine. It was perfectly cleaned and everything worked. Overall, for the price, I was happy and would certainly consider staying here again!

This property needs maintenance and care. First, the computer system is archaic, very slow, cannot put 2 rooms on one invoice. The shower bench in the handicapped room was unsafe. The window in our room on ground level did not close tightly. Was off the track. Very unsafe. Almost zero water pressure for the shower. I would not recommend this hotel.

The front desk attendant was rude. Not only to me but the other guests as well. No empathy and unprofessional. The hand sink was clogged. You can hear the guests through the wall.

Was great but the mirror was busted to the closet on the corner and the only thing I couldn’t use was the Wi-Fi. But the services was good the towels were clean. Will stay here again in the future.

Econolodge gave our room away without notification. I was refunded but had no clue it was canceled. I prepaid in full a week prior. Only way i knew was I called to let them know I'd be running late.

I will never stay at this property again. There are to many motels in hotels in Gallup to stay in a place like this. The desk clerks dog barked for what seemed like an hour in the middle of the night. I was so disappointed and definitely didn't come close to getting my money's worth.

I came late, and the guy said that he gave my room away and then he said that Expedia has the money that he didn’t get the money when I tried to get a glass of orange juice cause I figured I paid for the breakfast too, and he told me to get the hell out of there I need my money back on this or I will never use Expedia again

It’s nicer inside than it looks. The rooms are quite nice; again, nicer than what the reception and breakfast areas looks like. I didn’t feel super super secure staying there but for a one night stay for traveling it’s perfectly fine

I prebooked the room, but when I arrived, immediately felt unsafe in the area. The outside of the hotel looked dirty and unsafe, along with ugly curtains and dirty windows. In checking in, the receptionist told me not to park my car near the room as they were having problems in the far corner with vandalization of cars. I immediately as a single woman, became concerned about even having a room in the back far corner. I refused to stay at the hotel- as my car was loaded with items because I was moving. I found another hotel on my own to stay in. However it was after 6 PM, and the hotel would not cancel my reservations. I reported to Expedia, but never heard back from them for reimbursement. Decided avoiding vandalization of car and it's items, and myself was more important than the money lost.

This place should be closed. We clearly were not getting our kicks on Route 66 at this place. We were traveling through as a family and if I could have afforded to walk away from my reservation I would have. I know it is Econo Lodge but it is in bad shape and does not represent what I've seen in other Econo Lodge's. Staff was rude at check in. Some type of liquid was dripping from the ceiling in the lower hallway in multiple places. Exterior doors never lock so seems like a safety issue on a major highway. Glue down LVP flooring was bubbled up and coming off the floor in the bathroom. The continental breakfast is a joke. Only one positive, the beds were comfortable.
