When we checked in and got to our room there were dead bugs in the bathroom. The next day our room was not cleaned even tho we were out all day so that when we returned at about 10:30pm i had to go to the lobby to get toilet paper( we had none) and dead bugs were still there. Then the next day the hotel had no hot water so we had to go to a friend's hotel to shower( had somewhere to go). The hotel staff acted like it was no big deal. Overall just a horrible experience.

**Tell Us About Your Stay** My experience with this hotel was nothing short of a nightmare, and I didn't even stay the night. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was met with disappointment. The hotel looks nothing like the images that were used to promote it. The lobby smelled bad and had bags of concrete on the floor, giving the impression of a neglected construction site. When I reached my room, things only got worse. It was extremely dirty, run down, and uncomfortably hot because the air conditioning wasn’t working properly. To make matters even more disturbing, the guest in the room next to mine was also trying to get a refund after his nephew sat on a dirty condom in their bed. This hotel was not what I expected at all, and I’m still fighting to get my money back.

In booking i expained i iterally was just released from heart hospital. I coudnt walk for or stairs. We had a huge suite on the 3rd floor. No elevator. The clerk took 2 trips upstairs for us to help. She was AMAZING. SERVICE WAS ANOVE AND BEYOND!!!

When we drove up, there was a large group of homeless people at the entrance. We were told the police were called and they would be removed. The lobby was old but OK front staff were friendly enough. We got to our room and the bathroom was not clean. There were hairs in the tub hairs on the floor and hairs in the sink.

The room was very dirty, there was clothing from the previous person in the room, the bathroom and toilet were dirty and sheets had stains on them. I also went back and looked at my bank and saw that they had charged me a couple random charges so I would go back and double check everything if I was you. Overall I would highly recommend NOT staying here.

If you are looking for a clean place to sleep, this is not it! The check-in clerk was extremely pleasant and helpful and our room was quiet enough for sleep. Those are the only good things about this hotel. The floors in the room looked like they hadn't been vacuumed or swept for several days. There were several long hairs on the bathroom floor and there was no soap. The top covers of the bed had several fresh stains. The sheets had set in stains and several holes. We were charged a $35 deposit at check-in but then had to pay $10 for a missing third towel that was never in the room in the first place. The "light breakfast" was a cup of coffee. In hindsight, we should've just paid the extra $45 to stay somewhere else.

This place is not very clean. I stayed for 2 nights but the bed-making was not made. The WIFI was not working either night. I told the staff and they connected it.I told them all of this but he did not apologize. Will there ever be a time when I can be satisfied with an American motel?

The light beside the bed did not work. There was something wrong with the switch. I traded out the bulb from one of the other lamps and it still did not work. The toilet paper was on the wall across from the John and I could not reach it while sitting on the John. It could have been hung under the sink instead of the wall that I could not reach. The ceiling in the bathroom was not satisfactory. We were in room 116. The breakfast was not worth going to. They even had an employee there guarding what little there was. There was one waffle machine some Dry Cereal left over from a year ago and some hot juice. Nothing else I will never ever again stop at that Super 8. I asked at the front desk how much it was costing me because I had booked it online. They had no idea and they could not give me a receipt or tell me anything. I learned a good lesson no more Super rates. We stopped at one in Raton New Mexico and once again the toilet paper is on the wall across from the toilet and you could not reach it was sitting on the toilet. A design flaw of Super 8. Have a good day. And goodbye

Room was in the 90° range when i arrived at 7pm and did not cool off until about 1am. TV did not work. Sink was clogged and leaking from the bottom.

We should have read the reviews before staying at this hotel but we needed something asap because we were driving through. The room was filthy, super hot and there were cockroaches in the bathroom. Also, the shower curtain had mold and mildew on it, disgusting! I do not recommend this hotel at all! One more thing, it was scary due to the fact that there were people outside the hotel asking for cigarettes and money. I warn you, do not stay at this super 8!

Location is very convenient, very close to NMSU where we need to be. Our room was not well kept, AC not working, fridge and micro could not be plugged anywhere. We had to be changed to another room which I must say was a completely different experience. Reception staff on the night was useless, however kudos to the morning staff and maintenance guy for helping out next morning.

I was taken back by the huddle of people on the property. Either doing or buying drugs or both. The furniture had large holes in upholstery. It took over 2 hours and 4 phone calls to get the tv to work. They did not like the fact that I was on a super discounted rare.

Very dirty and unkept hotel. We gave a credit card for a deposit and were charged for pet having pets, which we did not have. We called the hotel after seeing the charge on the card and have received no response. The check-in process was hectic as there was lots of people waiting and the staff seemed overwhelmed. And the rooms were the dirtiest I've ever seen. There's no way they can justify any sort of damage deposit, pets or no pets, based on the condition. I would not recommend this and we'll never stay here again, even though I like traveling on a budget. Would rather spend another $50 and get a clean, honest, decent stay.

At this time im still trying to get refunded as i checked in then immediately checked out. Should of knew by just the room key on how it looked. However room was not to my liking & had bugs in it. Haven't been able to contact them as they told me to call in a.m to get refunded after speaking to 3rd party i booked through. Said it should be no problem with being refunded however they are hard to get a hold of. I ended up having to sleep in my vehicle for the night due to all this so just overall very disappointed

At this time im still trying to get refunded as i checked in then immediately checked out. Should of knew by just the room key on how it looked. However room was not to my liking & had bugs in it. Haven't been able to contact them as they told me to call in a.m to get refunded after speaking to 3rd party i booked through. Said it should be no problem with being refunded however they are hard to get a hold of. I ended up having to sleep in my vehicle for the night due to all this so just overall very disappointed

It was a great value for the price. Staff was friendly and the room was quiet and clean. I forgot my drivers license at the counter at check in and they secured it until i cam back to get it.....perfect......friendly and honest. :-)

When we drove up, there was a large group of homeless people at the entrance. We were told the police were called and they would be removed. The lobby was old but OK front staff were friendly enough. We got to our room and the bathroom was not clean. There were hairs in the tub hairs on the floor and hairs in the sink.

Rooms are not cleaned old sheets on beds and bugs in rooms a lot of scary people outside all night yelling and doing who knows what a lot of drug activity and if you don’t get to breakfast when open u don’t get nothing

We should have read the reviews before staying at this hotel but we needed something asap because we were driving through. The room was filthy, super hot and there were cockroaches in the bathroom. Also, the shower curtain had mold and mildew on it, disgusting! I do not recommend this hotel at all! One more thing, it was scary due to the fact that there were people outside the hotel asking for cigarettes and money. I warn you, do not stay at this super 8!

Location is very convenient, very close to NMSU where we need to be. Our room was not well kept, AC not working, fridge and micro could not be plugged anywhere. We had to be changed to another room which I must say was a completely different experience. Reception staff on the night was useless, however kudos to the morning staff and maintenance guy for helping out next morning.

I was taken back by the huddle of people on the property. Either doing or buying drugs or both. The furniture had large holes in upholstery. It took over 2 hours and 4 phone calls to get the tv to work. They did not like the fact that I was on a super discounted rare.

The light beside the bed did not work. There was something wrong with the switch. I traded out the bulb from one of the other lamps and it still did not work. The toilet paper was on the wall across from the John and I could not reach it while sitting on the John. It could have been hung under the sink instead of the wall that I could not reach. The ceiling in the bathroom was not satisfactory. We were in room 116. The breakfast was not worth going to. They even had an employee there guarding what little there was. There was one waffle machine some Dry Cereal left over from a year ago and some hot juice. Nothing else I will never ever again stop at that Super 8. I asked at the front desk how much it was costing me because I had booked it online. They had no idea and they could not give me a receipt or tell me anything. I learned a good lesson no more Super rates. We stopped at one in Raton New Mexico and once again the toilet paper is on the wall across from the toilet and you could not reach it was sitting on the toilet. A design flaw of Super 8. Have a good day. And goodbye

If you are looking for a clean place to sleep, this is not it! The check-in clerk was extremely pleasant and helpful and our room was quiet enough for sleep. Those are the only good things about this hotel. The floors in the room looked like they hadn't been vacuumed or swept for several days. There were several long hairs on the bathroom floor and there was no soap. The top covers of the bed had several fresh stains. The sheets had set in stains and several holes. We were charged a $35 deposit at check-in but then had to pay $10 for a missing third towel that was never in the room in the first place. The "light breakfast" was a cup of coffee. In hindsight, we should've just paid the extra $45 to stay somewhere else.

I reserved a mobility-accessible room for my elderly father and received an email confirmation confirming the reserved room. However, when we arrived at the hotel, we were told that all accessible rooms had already been sold and that the mobility-accessible room should not have been available to book through Hotels.com. By the time we learned this, it was too late to cancel our reservation. Because it was a holiday weekend, there were no comparable rooms available at nearby hotels. The hotel also had no elevators, so my father struggled to climb the stairs and could have fallen if my sister had not been directly behind him to assist him. In addition, the room was not very clean. My brother-in-law, who was also staying at the hotel with my sister, reported that there were prostitutes outside the property soliciting him, which made us feel even more uncomfortable about the overall experience. Hotels.com offered me $50 in KeyCash, but the hotel refused to provide any type of refund. I believe the hotel was at fault for confirming a mobility-accessible room that was not actually available and for failing to notify us before our arrival. Had we been informed in advance, we would have made other accommodations that were suitable for my father's mobility needs.

Our original reservation was given to someone else. When there was a room available, it was poorly cleaned. The ottoman had a disgusting huge wet spot that was promised to be clean and never was. The pillow cases were dirty with make-up and the towels were all stained.
