We had a booking at this hotel and during booking there was no mention of elevators not working and we had to take all our luggage to 3 floors and the staff was not helpful at all never book this hotels they do not mention clear information on the website , pls do not book this hotel the staff and the manager was very rude, when we complained about elevators not working and rooms were in bad ols shape

We had a 24 hour sauna in the hotel next to our room. It was fantastic. The only bad thing was that there were no restaurants anywhere near us.

Breakfasts were very good with a variety each day. It would have been better if there had been a pool and a bar…especially since in White Rock there are no bars and only one restaurant that serves wine and beer and that is only open until 7 pm.

I had requested rooms appropriate for handicapped or disadvantaged individuals because I have had numerous foot surgeries and like to have easily accessible rooms. Our rooms were on the second floot. I asked if there was an elevator and there was so I accepted the rooms without further discussion.

We appreciated the pet friendly policy. Saw a mystery $50 charge on my credit card from this hotel after check in. Curious if it was because we brought our dog but there was never a word about pets and an extra fee during the booking or check in process. Will look into it but annoying to see that charge with nothing said about it. Enjoyed the free breakfast and the availability of hot drinks beyond breakfast hours. We highly recommend walking to the Mexican restaurant next door for some great food.

The Customer Service was AWESOME. The Day Shift , the Evening Shift and the Overnight Shift were ALL VERY good at each of their respective jobs and made the OVERALL stay a VERY pleasant experience. As well as a CLEAN ROOM and a reasonable rate ! I We HIIGHLY recommend This Hotel and We DEFINITELY have Our Hotel of Choice the next time We are going through the Los Alamos area.

Liked the staff and daily breakfast. Wasn’t happy with having my room cleaned for the first time. I was there 4 days before I got it cleaned. I complained and then management made sure it was cleaned every other day.

I've stayed here many times (only hotel in White Rock) and it is usually pretty consistent. This stay, however, feels as if the level of service and cleanliness has slipped. Overall, it's an ok place to stay, but the hotel itself is dated, and it's starting to show. I'll likely stay again in the future, despite being disappointed this time around.

It was clean but not nice. Felt very much like a budget hotel. The mini fridge didn’t work and it took forever for the AC to cool the room down. We couldn’t pull into the front of the hotel to check in because other guests had parked their bike there and pulled out lobby chairs to drink/smoke outside. Again, it was fine but not worth half the price we paid to stay there.

We stayed here for two nights. We requested the top floor when we booked the hotel, but we did not get the top floor when we checked in. On the first night, my husband and I were woken up by loud footsteps around midnight. The loud footsteps did not stop until 2am and I got very poor sleep that night. In the morning, I talked to the front desk lady and tried to change our room to the top floor. She told us people who stayed above us would check out today and the new guests would be staying above us. But the loud footsteps started around 8 pm on the second night and it did not stop until the front desk lady called the guests above us around 11pm. The front desk lady in the evening was very nice, but the front desk lady in the morning was rude. Overall the soundproofing was very poor. If you want to have a good night’s sleep, stay in a different hotel!

We were visiting family and this was a great base for that. The hotel breakfast was very good and varied. We had an issue with our credit card upon check in and the girl at reception (I wish I had gotten her name) was so helpful and friendly. If I had to mention any downsides were that the A/C was fairly loud and a personal pet peeve is a non traditional bathroom door; it’s a sliding one which doesn’t offer much in the way of privacy. Again, it didn’t detract from our trip it’s just a nice thing to note when travelling with family. I had two interactions with housekeeping staff, both girls were very friendly.

I booked a suite at the hotel and when I arrived, they said none were available. I asked for a refund on the difference of a suite and a regular room. They said I needed to reach out to expedia for the refund but then denied the refund to expedia. I would stay at the Holiday Inn in Los Alamos if you are looking for a better experience.

This is the best Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at. The difference is the staff. They are kind, professional and helpful. No fewer than 3 staff members offered assistance to me in my 12 hour stay. Everyone was smiling and kind. It was a pleasure to be a guest.

I booked through Expedia. The property only had me staying there for 2 nights. My itinerary clearly said 3 nights. They booked me a room for the additional night but also charged me credit card for it even though I paid in advance for 3. Despite showing them all of my electronic documentation of this they were unwilling to reimburse me for the extra nights stay and insisted that I would need to deal with Expedia regarding this. VERY UNHELPFUL. It took me approximately 1 hour online with chat from Expedia to get a case # but have not heard back from them. Not the way I wanted to spend my vacation time.

We stayed here for two nights. We requested the top floor when we booked the hotel, but we did not get the top floor when we checked in. On the first night, my husband and I were woken up by loud footsteps around midnight. The loud footsteps did not stop until 2am and I got very poor sleep that night. In the morning, I talked to the front desk lady and tried to change our room to the top floor. She told us people who stayed above us would check out today and the new guests would be staying above us. But the loud footsteps started around 8 pm on the second night and it did not stop until the front desk lady called the guests above us around 11pm. The front desk lady in the evening was very nice, but the front desk lady in the morning was rude. Overall the soundproofing was very poor. If you want to have a good night’s sleep, stay in a different hotel!

Very clean and neat looking hotel. Walking distance to all restaurants, the library and a big gas station in White Rock. Good-sized, modern looking guest rooms. Breakfast was plentiful, including 2 hot items. We requested housekeeping for 1 day during our stay and returned to an unmade room. Front desk person was unable to tell us why since he did not understand what the (only) Spanish speaking housekeeping manager was saying.

My wife and I stayed for one night. There is plenty of space, good amenities, and the cooler worked exceptionally well. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic but good. I would recommend, especially for it's proximity to Bandelier NP.

This was a good situation for me to stay in while I was waiting for my son to finish up his internship at the lab. I liked the hotel on the other side of Los Alamos just a little bit better, but this one was not bad at all. The coffee was quite good, which is an essential for me, and they had non-dairy milk.

I liked the hot peppers to top off the omelets. Fresh fruit was nice too. Would prefer ceramics plates and silverware to reduce trash and good just tastes batter that way.

The hotel is very nice and clean, breakfast is good and the staff is really nice, helpful and warm. We stayed there for a week and felt totally comfortable. HBO is also included in the channel list (a nice bonus). WiFi is impeccable also. And excellent hotel at a great rate.

Nothing special about this hotel. First, it is NOT in Los Alamos. It is 10 minutes away. So, the posted location is very misleading. The second issue is that the beds and pillows aren’t comfortable. They seem pretty old. There are only a few restaurants in the area. And I mean a few! You have to go into Santa Fe (40 min drive) to get a semi-decent meal. The whole experience at this hotel was mediocre.

Great checkin, the front desk staff was really helpful. Like the quietness and atmosphere, totally unlike some places in Santa Fe. Definetly will be ataying here again. Plus the San Idlefonso Reservation lands are beautiful.

The staff here were excellent! The only reason for not giving it the 5th star was that the booking site knew that we were 2 adults and 3 kids in our party. When we got to the hotel there were only 2 queen sized beds! Usually there is a pullout sofa bed. Not here. Thought the staff pulled through for us and were able to get a roll away bed!! Breakfast was good. 10 out of 10 would probably stay here again!
