We left about 30 minutes after check in because of the condition of the hotel. Cluttered lobby, old furniture along property fence, badly cracked curbs and walkways, dirty pool & hot tub, dead bugs inside our room, chipped paint on the walls, banged up doors.

The swimming pool wasn't that clean had to take out some black bugs and the hot tub didn't work. In the morning went to get some ice and the ice machine was given no ice. My room was supposed to have a hair dryer but no it had a sign $45 dollars for a hair dryer.

Was not given the option for the daily cleaning , which is done every 3 days . Floors were dirty and dusty when we entered the room, had a musky odor . Pool looked cloudy and unattended, sauna was covered with a tarp naking it unusable. Will never return and will not recommend. Property management spoke in their native tongue when we asked for someone to clean the room and refresh towels , making us uncomfortable not understanding what they were saying . We asked for a broom to sweep the room ourselves. They showed up to change the sheets and 2 clean towels . No one swept the room . Totally disappointed on this trip .

BED BUGS IN MY ROOM. THEY WERE BITING ME AT NIGHT. I WAS SCRATCHING ALL NIGHT AND I COULDN'T SLEEP. THE HOT TUB WAS NOT WORKING AND CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. MY DOOR WAS HARD TO OPEN. FREE BREAKFAST CLOSED EARLY.

The photos on the website do not match the actual property or rooms. My a/c was falling off the wall. There was a big piece of the plastic broken off. Shower curtain rod was about to fall off the wall. Door between rooms looks like someone started to paint it and didn't finish or was just see the color of paint. Cable cords running over the floor tripping hazard. Smoke detector looks like it is 50 years old. Not sure it even works. Concrete sidewalks are crumbling. Wires hanging outside from building to building over breezeway. Looks terrible. Water valve going to toilet is corroded. I would never stay at this olace again nor would I suggest it to anyone. This place is a dump. Trash all over the place. The hot tub didn't work. Wyndham should shut this place down. It is giving Wyndham a bad reputation

Hot tub not working..had several issues with magnetic key to room Shower water pressure too light..many lose areas on concrete walkways..made ambulating unstable..weeds in between gravel landscaping appeared unkept..beds were very comfortable..quiet..check in without issues

This place was awful and dirty. Hotel wasn’t ready until after 430pm. Wore a pair of clean socks and 5 minutes later they’re black. They were loud working on remodeling until 9 pm Paid way too much for the quality of the hotel. The hair dryer caught fire and the manager was very rude about it.

We our girls with us, 16,13,7 yrs old. We left for about 1hr and they stayed in the room. When we came back, the girls informed us, someone was trying to open the door, yanking on the knobb and knocking hard, it scared them. During the night it sounded like someone was arguing or throwing things. The floor was nasty dirty 1 of my daughters dropped an item, when she picked back up it had dirt and hair on it. One of the pillows had blood on it. We were so uncomfortable. The girls girls also went over to the pool, the girls stated the railing was loose and the pool had so many cracks some kid had cut him self bad.

Baseboards falling off the wall. Bathtub chalking needs to be replaced. Floor was dirty. Dead bugs on the floor. Infected with grasshoppers. Room was not ready to be occupied. Made reservations for 3 nights Left after two. Do not recommend!

This property is in a high level of disrepair. The rooms are extremely dirty. The electrical wall outlets are not covered. The floors were extremely dirt and sticky. The drywall was not painted in some areas. The staff needs to spray for bugs because I found spiders in the room. The security feature on the entry/exit door is broken and in need of repair. This facility should be shut down for repair and only opened after a thorough inspection is completed. I am very disappointed.

I spoke with the owner twice about the shower not draining. This is how well the shower drained AFTER they sent someone to fix it. The staff is super nice, but definitely not clean nor well maintained. Will not be returning again.

The garbage trucks making noise outside at 3:30 a.m. is something that could maybe be rescheduled. Also the heater thermostat didn’t seem to work. Woke up cold and then after turning the heater on low, later woke up sweating.

The sink was clogged in our room. Only had one lock on door - no top lock. Was very noisy at night. Old furniture, mattresses & a commode sits by the fence around the property. Only big plus is it is located right beside K-Bob's Steakhouse. Food there was great.

Our stay was just ok. We paid extra for our large dog that was traveling with us and when we pulled out the extra roll away mattress for him to sleep on, it was unusable. The mattress had obviously been used by a previous guest's pet and had brown stains on it. So we ended up paying the pet fee needlessly. Our dog ended up sleeping in our bed, which was not very comfortable. The beds are advertised as queen beds but I highly doubt they are. They are more like full sized. The rooms need updating as well. The hotel is in a good location though.

Bed was terrible and mattress sunk in the middle. Sink leaking on items left close by, toothbrush etc. Asked for extra towels as 3 people in room, nobody acknowledged. Will not stay here again and will let friends know

First, I was placed in a handicap room, I do not need one nor did I request a handicap room and was told to park in front of my room. Legally cannot do this without a handicap tag. Second, trim piece was missing on top of bathroom door and the bathroom floor flooded every time the shower was used. Last thing, staff was not very friendly or welcoming. I felt my being there was an inconvenience.

Stayed 2 night, told staff we did not require our room cleaned. All we needed were extra towels did not get them. Also informed them that the towel and shower racks were falling and nothing was done about it

When me and my wife arrive to check in, the front desk receptionist was on a call, not business related. We had to wait until she got off her phone so she could help us. Once she did get off, she was rude. Will not recommend that location to anyone.

The hotel was OK, close to where I needed to be. The breakfast was not very good, and when I went to eat, the person working the front desk was loud and on the phone the entire time, I went back to my room to pack up and then check out, she was still on the phone, very loud and didn't even stop talking on the phone when I was checking out. Not a place I want to stay again.

Excellent service!! From the moment I walked in to check in, I felt welcomed and greeted. It felt as if I was staying at a family members home. Staff is very kind and accommodating. Will stay here again if given the opportunity

The address of the property is all wrong. Call before you go because the address will take you into the woods. It’s really off the Main Street next to KBOBs.

The address of the property is all wrong. Call before you go because the address will take you into the woods. It’s really off the Main Street next to KBOBs.

The sink was clogged in our room. Only had one lock on door - no top lock. Was very noisy at night. Old furniture, mattresses & a commode sits by the fence around the property. Only big plus is it is located right beside K-Bob's Steakhouse. Food there was great.

Room fairly standard but was clean and staff pleasant. I do think over priced for the room, but the area is all overpriced. The least expensive available at the time I booked , 2 days prior to arrival. Motel felt safe, and convenient to the town proper. I would stay here again.

Our stay was just ok. We paid extra for our large dog that was traveling with us and when we pulled out the extra roll away mattress for him to sleep on, it was unusable. The mattress had obviously been used by a previous guest's pet and had brown stains on it. So we ended up paying the pet fee needlessly. Our dog ended up sleeping in our bed, which was not very comfortable. The beds are advertised as queen beds but I highly doubt they are. They are more like full sized. The rooms need updating as well. The hotel is in a good location though.

This is a hidden gem among all the hotel chains in Ruidoso. Rooms are huge and the staff is very very friendly. Breakfast is not fancy but no complaints. I will stay here again for sure.

BED BUGS IN MY ROOM. THEY WERE BITING ME AT NIGHT. I WAS SCRATCHING ALL NIGHT AND I COULDN'T SLEEP. THE HOT TUB WAS NOT WORKING AND CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. MY DOOR WAS HARD TO OPEN. FREE BREAKFAST CLOSED EARLY.

The hotel was OK, close to where I needed to be. The breakfast was not very good, and when I went to eat, the person working the front desk was loud and on the phone the entire time, I went back to my room to pack up and then check out, she was still on the phone, very loud and didn't even stop talking on the phone when I was checking out. Not a place I want to stay again.

I do not generally leave negative reviews; however, this stay warranted it. Rooms rates approx $56 to $77, but (two rooms) were rated at $189 plus $24 in taxes/feese each due to holiday weekend. Front desk (male) rude, lobby smelled & unclean. The overall hotel is unmanaged & seriously neglected. Combined issues in our rooms were absolutely disgustingly filthy. Floors sticky, AC, TV didn't work in one room with fire alarm ripped off the ceiling. One bed literally had soiled sheets, another room's towels looked like they attempted to bleach large blood or some sort stains out. Baseboards were ripped out, one room had a floor with a large hole in it. There was grime & dirt standing on outlets and other fixtures in both rooms. Locks questionable along with vagrants & questionable people/activities on exterior. The towels & some bedding did smell like bleach. Front desk lady on checkout was pleasant. I suspect prior reviews not written by validated guests as nothing positively stated was represented during our overnight stay. I was surprised this was a Wyndham hotel & will never stay at one again.

There was hair in my tongue when I checked it into the first room room 158. I requested another room in that room was even worse plus they had a patch under the closet shelf so I opted to purchase cleaning supplies additionally, the room key did not work for the five nights. I had to get a key every night. Additionally, there was a reserve charge on my account when I first made the reservation for roughly $78 when I checked into the hotel our card is charged for the full amount of trip and I saw my balance change in my account but now seven days later, I am seeing in charge on my account again. I need to understand when I pay for the room as of now it looks like I paid twice, and I am disputed in charge that here on my card on April 6th
