The ice machine was broken. When i asked i was told where the nearest convenience store was (she should have bought some for the quest who asked) The coffee machine was find and unsuitable for the little coffee packats they had and there were no coffee cups. Mostly my bad review had to do with the sheets being made of slick plastic. I never knew such things existed. I have to assume they think there quests are bed wetters.

We had a blast! After reading comments I was expecting something very outdated but it was nothing like that. They provide pots and pans and dishes for you to cook, 2 heaters and a pull out couch as well. It was very nice and cozy. We were all comfortable and not one bad thing to say. The girls in the front were also very nice. On our next trip to Ruidoso we plan to stay there again . Only suggestion for the Summer would be to please fix the ice machine outside .

The staff were helpful and friendly. I rented the 2 bedroom suite which was very spacious. There was 2 queen beds in one room and a king bed in the master bedroom. There was a pull out couch and an extra twin bed that was stored in the closet if needed. The kitchen was large and fully loaded with pots and pans. The apartment was a little outdated but very cozy. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay here again.

Village Condos is a fun and funky motel. My 'condo' had clearly been a higher class place decades ago, but it was clean and pretty well equipped for a budget property. The TV was annoying in the new 'Roku...it's all on you' kind of way. Some of the guests smoked but the room smelled just fine. A chair was completely shot but the leather couch was really cool. Although the property is right on the road, the U-Shape blocked out ALL the noise and there were a LOT of tall trees to enjoy. I would stay here again.

My family really enjoyed our stay here. Only thing is pullout couch had not been cleaned. There was a beer cap and some other trash on the pullout couch. I also wish there was a dead bolt or double locks on the door instead of just the doorknob. Thankfully my husband piled the stools and recliner against the door to give me peace of mind. Other than that it was nice, quiet and nobody bothered us. Oh and you also have to wash your own dishes in the kitchen or they charge a fee. We already clean up after ourselves but didn’t expect that rule.

This place suffers from a lack of maintenance. Neither TV would work, and front desk never returned our call about it. Wash rags so thin they had holes, smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector found in kitchen drawer, hot tube out of service and noisy at night.

Spacious bedroom set far enough away from the living room. Little kitchenette was very nice. Our bedroom had a separate bedroom vanity for me to put my make-up on so others could occupy the bathroom.

For a weekend getway, its ok. Its dated, but they tried to make it nice. Loose tiles on the floor, a few spiders, some blood on the wall, but over it was just ok. If all your gonna do is basically shower and sleep and the rest of the time out on the town....it will do.

I couldn’t even stay at the property. I immediately had to rent another place to stay at. Food in couch. Sofa sleeper broken and window blinds broken and dirty.

The front desk staff was super nice. They did not have a King room ready at check-in due to their housekeeping being stretched, but she put me in a double that was ready. Unfortunately the condo was not what I expected. This place is charming but needs some serious love and remodeling. There are mini splits, but you can't lower the thermostat in the room (you have to go to the office when they are open, which is limited), and the room stayed stuffy. The carpet is old and did not feel clean, and several pieces of furniture had stains on the cushions. The beds were clean but the mattress sunk, and there were plastic covered pillows in the pillowcases. The amenities were limited to shampoo and soap, and some coffee. For a quick business trip, this did the trick, but I would not pay this much again to stay here. I hope it gets some TLC, it would be a great place to stay during ski season.

The smell was overwhelming! Had no WiFi unless you stood at front door. Cobwebs from ceiling and dead roaches in kitchen. Fortunately we were at the cabin very little. Called front desk multiple times but didn’t get assistance until the last night. That’s when she told us to stand at the front door and we could get signal.

The area it is in is great. Not to far from the shops. The property area is nice and clean. The rooms not so much. There were stains in drawers, and the walls. Kitchen utensils still had some food on them and food on the kitchen walls. The hospitality was very nice.

The place was great other than 2 issues. 1. Our room had a strong odor of animal urine. A bottle of Febreeze was a huge help there. This being a pet-friendly lodge odor is to be expected, but it was a clear sign that carpeting was a bad choice. 2. The mattress and pillows were covered with plastic protectors that made them uncomfortable. There are better options on the market these days.

The room we reserved was not available and we were placed in a room of lesser value. The accommodations were poor quality to say the very least. We were disappointed in the quality of the bed (rock hard) and the sofa (extremely broken down).

When looking for a place, i read some bad reviews on this place and some good ones. Took my chances and booked a riom for the weekend. Best chance i took. The room was amazing, had everything we needed in it and extras. The lady at check in was very polite and helpful in letting us know what to do while on our stay. I would definitely book again.

This place suffers from a lack of maintenance. Neither TV would work, and front desk never returned our call about it. Wash rags so thin they had holes, smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector found in kitchen drawer, hot tube out of service and noisy at night.

We stayed here overnight and we really enjoyed it, it was very peaceful and the trees surrounding the property make you feel at home.

Village Condos is a fun and funky motel. My 'condo' had clearly been a higher class place decades ago, but it was clean and pretty well equipped for a budget property. The TV was annoying in the new 'Roku...it's all on you' kind of way. Some of the guests smoked but the room smelled just fine. A chair was completely shot but the leather couch was really cool. Although the property is right on the road, the U-Shape blocked out ALL the noise and there were a LOT of tall trees to enjoy. I would stay here again.

The ice machine was broken. When i asked i was told where the nearest convenience store was (she should have bought some for the quest who asked) The coffee machine was find and unsuitable for the little coffee packats they had and there were no coffee cups. Mostly my bad review had to do with the sheets being made of slick plastic. I never knew such things existed. I have to assume they think there quests are bed wetters.

The front desk staff was super nice. They did not have a King room ready at check-in due to their housekeeping being stretched, but she put me in a double that was ready. Unfortunately the condo was not what I expected. This place is charming but needs some serious love and remodeling. There are mini splits, but you can't lower the thermostat in the room (you have to go to the office when they are open, which is limited), and the room stayed stuffy. The carpet is old and did not feel clean, and several pieces of furniture had stains on the cushions. The beds were clean but the mattress sunk, and there were plastic covered pillows in the pillowcases. The amenities were limited to shampoo and soap, and some coffee. For a quick business trip, this did the trick, but I would not pay this much again to stay here. I hope it gets some TLC, it would be a great place to stay during ski season.

This room was not exactly "you get what you pay for". Yes, we were looking for something inexpensive, and the selection was really slim that weekend. The Ironman half Triathlon was going on, so all properties were inflated, I think. This condo was "quaint" if I'm being nice. The place was very outdated. We couldn't get the tv in the living room to work right - I think the remote batteries were out. The recliner was icky, and the handle was broken off. The curtain also covered the window unit a/c, so you either had cool air or an audience walking up and down the stairs. I don't remember seeing this in the listing, but this location is a mixture of vacationers and people who actually live there full time. The residents above us sat out on the porch smoking weed at all hours of the day & night. The fridge is not traditional; it's a frozen over cabinet under the countertop. Also, if you use any of the dishes, you have to wash them and put them back. Otherwise, you will be charged a $25 cleaning fee. The dresser/tv stand in the bedroom was missing the back feet, so the whole thing leaned backwards. I think the floor itself was uneven. Good things to point out were clean sheets, extra pillows in the closet, and a comfortable bed. I really don't mean to be overly harsh, but I feel like the place was overpriced for what was offered. I'm sure each room is different, and maybe we just got the short end of the stick. Make sure you read the whole listing to know what you're getting.
