Etablissement typique et bien surprenant. Belle chambre avec place de parking abritée pour le véhicule. Beaucoup de passage de véhicules en fin de journée et très tôt le matin mais très supportable sans problème.

Great place, which I will re-book next year! My only complaint was that I could not turn heat on in the room when it got a bit cold at night in October. However, I really enjoyed my stay, as well as the staff. Thank you Sudah!

The King's Rest website gives an accurate and honest description of what to expect of their property. It is a basic but adequate shelter, clean, not fancy, with updated bathroom. The mattress appeared to be good quality although less firm than I prefer. The neighborhood is a bit grittier than would appear in website pictures but safety did not feel threatened. The garage like parking was a nice feature. It was quiet as October is wrapping up the season. The weather was glorious but we did employ the functional window a/c at night. We appreciated the proximity to the Plaza minus the upcharge. Within a couple of minutes is a Whole Foods (mini fridge and microwave in room) and a discovered gem called Vinaigrette that serves wonderful salads. Nearby Tune Up Cafe is off the beaten path but also recommended. The trail head of the Santa Fe rail trail is within walking distance, or a short drive takes you to a spot farther down the trail that is more challenging. The check in experience went smoothly and checking out involved a drop box for the room key. Set your expectations on a neat, tidy vintage motor court that adds to a Route 66 experience and you will not be disappointed.
