Me and my family booked at the hotel have a little family reunion. I didn’t get any notification that the pool was not working. I had to go book a room at another hotel for the last two nights so we could have our kids play at the pool.

Needed a quick place to stay. Econ Lodge is normally decent, but not this one. The shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The floors were dirty. The trim in the bathroom was coming off. The property in general was poor. The sign saying the ice machine was out of order looked older than the broke down ice machine. There’s better options in the area.

Was disappointed that the swimming pool was closed indefinitely as that was the main reason I chose this motel. Staff was kind and helpful. Rooms were clean but a bit shabby. Acceptable for the price.

Overall it was a room and we got some sleep. The A.C. worked great. For the price I'd say the place is okay. Some things we did not like. They advertised a pool. It was not open. The alarm clock was plugged in but was completely blank. There was no blow dryer in the room. The floor was a bit stained. Next time we'll probably spend the extra money and stay somewhere else.

We booked these rooms with the advertisement of a pool. Pool was dirty and not operational. We stayed here in 2020 and the rooms had mold and old bandaids in them, thought we would try again and are disappointed yet again and will not be returning. The no smoking rooms smell like smoke and smell like mold. Bathtubs are stained. Flooring in bathrooms is not installed properly. It’s very outdated. We will not be returning.

The bathroom and soaps were covered in the previous tenants pubic hairs! Gross. I showered in my Sandals and bathing suit to avoid getting any hair on me. Thank good I had my own soap and shampoo.

Town was nearly sold out. Chose Econolodge due to limited availability. First time guest. Checkin was easy. Bathroom was not cleaned. Used towel hanging behind door. Used soap in shower tray. Dirt and hair in shower. Makes me wonder what else wasn't cleaned. I didnt expect a fancy room but i did expect a clean one. Will not stay here again.

Stained carpets, stained towels, and filthy mattresses. Mold in the bathroom, no drain stops and the toilet would take 4 flushes to clear. The cleaning crew missed a beer bottle under one bed and after another cleaning the bottle was left again so clearly they are not doing a good job. They own a few hotels on this street. The front counter staff leave to manage the other hotels. We had 2 rooms, and we were met with a sign at 3 pm check-in saying the staff stepped out and will return. A phone number was on this sign, and when I called, no answer. We waited 30 minutes for someone to show up. Then our pre-paid reservation was not completed on their end, so we waited again for them to input the info into their system and check us in. Then, since we were not reserved, only one room was available. The other room had to be cleaned, which took 2 hours. Pictures are available.

We had no tv, was told the cable box was being replaced, didn’t happen. The room was dirty, stains on the carpet and walls. Bedding seemed clean but the beds themselves were bumpy and uncomfortable. Not great. Get what you pay for, sad to say 80$ for a place to sleep doesn’t get it. Lesson learned.

Front desk had a sign stating that they had to step away and to call a number for assistance. It rang to the front desk that is unmanned. We waited over 20 minutes, with a snarky apology on why it was unattended. The room wasnt to bad, but not the greatest. Will spend the extra $20 to stay at another location down the road in the future

I had previously cancelled my 2nd night stay through expedia within the cancellation period. However, upon arrival, was charged for two nights lodging. Spoke with overnight desk clerk and she said she charged me appropriately as they did not receive cancellation. Expedia customer service assured me that they spoke with hotel and the 2nd night was cancelled. I felt she was unconcerned and did nothing to help me sort it out.

I booked a single bed room. When I got there, they only had a two bedroom available. Whatever. The bed was uncomfortable and springy. I spent most of the night out in town and housekeeping banged on my door and then OPENED IT at 7:45 in the morning on Sunday morning. Like, really! 7:45? come on. Checkout is not until 11. I thought this was rude. When I checked in the afternoon before I told them my motorcycle would be outside of my room so they knew I was in there or just did not communicate that to housekeeping. Whatever. I won’t stay here again.

We never stayed at the Econo Lodge. When we checked in we were told the motel was overbooked and were directed to another property down the street. It was newly renovated and clean but not the same value. It was a clear bait and switch and put us off Expedia for good.

seemed decent when I checked in, but after that it went down hill, not able to reach front desk by phone, line was always busy, no alarm clock, couldn't get a wake up call since the phone was always busy, no-one answered the phone, a problem with another guest and his dog. checked out early, left key in room,and I still haven't had some of my money credited back to me as this date April 27, 2025, call them at a certain time, when I'm 2 hours different!! They have my address but can't even mail me back my money, really!!! I guess I'll have to file a complaint with someone different about this!! I sure won't attempt this place again!!!

The girl at the front desk was new and did not speak much English. She did not recognize that the room was already paid for on Expedia. So she canceled the payment from Expedia to the motel on Mastercard and billed me again on Visa, so I got double billed. We figured it out in the AM and Jessica was very helpful in the morning. As for the room, there were no hangers, the towel rack was coming off the wall on the left and they need a new plastic handle for the bath faucet.

Good proximity to food options. Staff was friendly. Ground floor may be booked with longer term guests such as construction workers so be mindful you may get a room on second floor.

Its an older Hotel but my room was clean & didn't smell. The Bed was a bit too soft for my personal liking but no complaint. I stayed during a Motorcycle Event so the whole town was noisey. Several Restaurants & Gas Stations are within walking distance.

The property was convenient on my travels and affordable the only bad part about it is. It was supposed to have breakfast in the morning starting at 6 AM And the office was still closed I had to return my At the same time and I had to call from the phone in my room to figure out what to do with my key because they don't have a 20. 4 hour office or even assign to let you know what to do. And I assumed it would be a good time to check out because breakfast would be starting but it was not

When I made the reservation I requested a ground floor room (I'm a disabled VET I have very knees) I was told the ground floor was sold out. There was no breakfast not even coffee. The stairs were not marked with any safety markings. This place allows dogs, the walkway on the upper level had dog poop on it. I could not wait to check out.

Everything was at or above expextations. No contintal breakfast dispite the pictures on the website showing on. There is a good convenience store mext door and a diner across the street.

Our room was spacious, clean, and quiet and cooled nicely. Staff was nice. No coffee in lobby or breakfast. Parking is tight. But overall a good night.

The only good thing about Econo Lodge is the price but even that is only relative-cheap for Winnemucca, but way overpriced if it was anywhere else. AC was loud and barely worked, there was garbage under the bed, there is no mattress cover, only a thin sheet (that had stains on it). Visible stains on the mattress too. We left as soon as we got enough sleep to be able to drive again

By the time we could rouse the front staff person I had already been driving 12 hours and was not in the mood to work with someone who was out in La La Land. She gave me a room at the end of the compound with the wrong new room number. By the time we found the right room number we got in the room and it was not made up. It took four times before we got into a room.

The AC did not work. THe wall unit had to be turned to 60F to get it to work and only then cooled the room to 75-80. The unit cycled on and off and was so loud that sleeping was impossible. The Wifi did not work or was not secure. There was still food in the refrigerator from a previous guest. Carpet was torn. peeling wallpaper, blackout curtain was fraying and off the track. People smoking outside the rooms and smoke sucked in by the AC unit.
