Quality Inn Cortland - University Area

That hotel needs a complete renovation.

As my husband will always say, you get what you paid for...maybe not that great but not too bad either. First with the "not that great": the toilet bowl was dirty, and the hot water ( shower) does not stay warm after minutes of running. It became cold. The carpet in the hallway smells dingy. I was hoping the breakfast will have at least a boiled or scrambled egg but I guess that's what a continental breakfast is. At least they have a waffle maker. However, the bed was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, safe place to stay. It has a TV and fridge, though no microwave. but that's okey since we eat out. Might stay again if I can't find a better deal somewhere else.

We were unable to stay. Checked into the hotel, saw the room and immediately searched for a back up hotel. The room looked NOTHING like the stock pictures posed on hotels.com. The bathroom was extremely dirty, there was wallpaper rolling off of the walls, and the room was poorly lit. Additionally, when we arrived a side door was left propped wide open. We did not feel safe and I am quite disappointed that I payed for a room we were unable to stay at due to safety concerns.
