Super clean. No tobacco smell. Very nice staff. The only drawbacks were lack of breakfast and lack of elevator

It was expensive as compared to what you get, elevator was not working, had to carry kids and luggage on 2nd floor, nothing was mentioned about elevator not working at booking time, later on in an email was informed about no pool, no elevator etc

This inn is no more than average and maybe a little less. It is clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff for the most part were indifferent and never went the extra mile. Neither did the smile. Given that there is no food service the vending machines could be stocked with more than unhealthy snacks and there should be some information available on nearby takeout options. Again this just reflects the overall attitude of indifference.

Only thing I would suggest is to get some food besides vending machines. Otherwise the place was great

The amenities were just sufficient. They tell you up front, there is no pool, no elevator and that they do not serve breakfast. I loved that they have a sauna, and chose to stay there because of that. However, overall, I would stay there again, sauna or not...

Inn was clean and affordable. Unfortunately there was no elevator which made it quite difficult to go upstairs with suitcases.

They should take the pool, free breakfast, off of add since they don’t offer these or an elevator.. decor is ancient needs a major overhaul

The outside of the property looked nice and when u go inside , the hallways looked very nice , so I felt a weight lifted off me , because the lobby and hallways was really nice and modern and decorated nice. But when they told me my room is in corridor 4 on the first floor, and I opened the door the corridor looked dingy with most of the room doors in that corridor had chipped paint and were a bit dirty looking . Then when I opened my room door I was disappointed and that weight came right back on my shoulders! The room smelled dingy probably the carpet needs cleaning, the walls looked old , the bathroom door had stains and the vanity was coming apart from the bathroom sink . They need new modern blankets cause the flowered one on the bed looked old with lint balls all over the inside. The white sheets and pillow cases looked clean though. It just wasn’t a refreshing feeling being in that room for the one night . The price was low for a Friday night in Long Island . I paid $158. But the rooms are dated , and definitely needs renovations so that the rooms can match the hallways and lobby’s newer modern look. And so that guests can feel more comfortable. I just didn’t feel comfortable and the smell of old musty smell bothered me the entire night . There’s a refrigerator in the room but microwave out near the lobby , which was fine with me . The ice machine worked fine .

Clean, quiet, with a friendly staff that is always ready to assist. House keeping is great. Wish there was a breakfast and wish the gym was not so isolated in the basement.

The staff that checked me in was terrible. The morning staff was better, not too friendly. The baseboards in the room entrance were dusty and the room had cigarette smell. They need destinated rooms for smokers. There's nice places around the property to find both cold and hot food. Free parking with enough spaces. Would be nice if Expedia would let customer know ahead of booking that there's no elevator, gym, continental breakfast and limited business center hours.

This was once a very nice hotel. Walking into the lobby, I was hit with the stink of Fabulouso. There were a bunch of people cleaning the main areas, but the rooms were horrible. It looks like they started to renovate them years ago, but left the walls unpainted the furniture scratched signs of leaking from the ceiling. items ripped off the wall and I’m pretty sure they did not change the sheets or pillowcases on the beds as there was the shape of a head and one pillow which smelt like perfume and the sheet was matted down against the mattress the hallway was filthy. The furniture was old I hardly slept the whole night.

Dismissive clerk, room reeked of bug repellent as a/c was not on. Had ants in three separate places in room. Front desk refused to refund prepayment. Only offered another potentially bug infested room. Working with hotels.com to get refund, else I call the Town of Oyster Bay board of health. Place hasn’t had an upgrade since the 50’s. Disgusting.

This was a very economical choice for us while we were competing at a tournament nearby. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean, and the neighborhood felt very safe.

We found a tube of denture cream in a supposedly freshly made bed between the blanket and the sheets. There was also some other debris in the bed, so we were not sure that the sheets had been changed.

Well the room was good. Its out dated. Bed was ver comfortable. Very quite. Peacful. I have a problem in the middle of the night with roaches. Otherwise all good.

Very friendly staff, great room. A comfortable bed, a clean shower, and a working TV. I enjoyed my stay and I will be back.

Convent location. Super nice staff. The Motel itself is old & tired. Fowl odors. Rug was sticky old & gross!

In room fridge made a lot of noise and in room AC would not turn back on after being turned off. Dated

Place was nice pulling in but once i got the room it was dingy, outdated, and just all around felt like time had passed the property by. As if there was never any capital improvements since its inception. Lights didn’t all work, TV was miserable viewing (Small and old), bedding was worn, chair in room looked like it came out of a dumpster, and overall felt like the ratings were fabricated previously.

I always enjoy staying here, the bed is comfortable but the bedspreads definitely need to be updated. Nice new TVs in the room, they definitely need to put microwaves in the rooms though

The tv didn’t work most of the time and no WIFI at all - got greeted by “ what do you need “ no microwave in the rooms not a business friendly place

Room was clean and AC worked fine to keep room nice and cool for sleeping. TV reception was pretty bad on the VIZIO TV in our room. Very nice to have courtyard to hang out and have a bite to eat and a few beers.

Stayed here for one night as it was close to where we needed to be the next day. After the unfriendliest welcome known to mankind (maybe the desk guy was having a bad day, who are we to judge)? we made our way through the well kept public area of the hotel only to be greeted with a stench and generally shabby corridor and took the stairs of doom to our rooms. The beds were comfortable (though the pillows were flat as a fart), the whole place was clean enough and the bathrooms were more than fine but the rooms are badly in need of updating and the matching curtains and comforter are left over from Grandma’s guest room in the 1980s. We could hear every word of the conversation our neighbours were having through the flimsy connecting door Still, it was cheap.

I felt safe, the shower was nice, the scenery was nice. The staff was also very friendly. I feel like the hotel was a bit outdated and needs some renovations but overall a good place to stay on a budget. The only downside was that it was very noisy because we had the room near the stairs and the housekeeping was very loud.

I have stayed there before. I think it is my 3rd stay. What made me happy was the room smelled clean and it was. The house cleaning staff eas very nice. The price was helpful compared to so many other places. I will stay again, if price stays similar. Vincent at the front desk was a good guy and helpful.

Above all, younger, skinny man with the glasses was absolutely horrendous.

The desk clerk was extreamly rude and "unwelcoming". He seemed annoyed with my existence. Very curt. When I asked if he would repeat himself as to negotiate my room in a place I've never been, he was impatient. Other then him, the rest of my stay was fine

Staff seemed like I was an imposition on their valuable time. Any questions were diverted to online, or generally rude answers. I asked to check out 1 day early, was told it would be ok, checked out early, then after, was told it was not allowed and I would be charged for the additional night.

The property was in a good location with plenty of parking. The hotel overall was pretty and clean. The front desk guy at nighttime is super friendly and welcoming. Would stay there again!

The hotel itself is beautiful. The rooms are very outdated though. There is a very good Italian restaurant, La Piazza within a three minute walk. Multiple other dining options very close.

Quiet location and facility in a great area with lots of places to dine. Chase and TD within walking distance. Staff works hard to keep place clean.

Our room was clean and quiet. Staff very attentive. Enjoyed the history of the property. Appreciated it's proximity to area restaurants, grocery store, and coffee venues. Very central to area historical and garden sites.

I had a nice stay. I got a nice discount because I used my Expedia app. The room is comfortable and clean. The only disadvantage is the location. I would like to be closer to Queens.

The property was ok but this place is very far from new york city, the airport etc, not an ideal place to stay if you want to explore new york

If you are looking for an affordable hotel in the Oyster Bay area, the East Norwich Inn is just what you need. It's clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The carpets could use replacing but the beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. They don't serve breakfast anymore, but no problem. Don't miss East Norwich Bagels right across the road!

The hotel you can see they are in the middle of slowly renovating. Parts of our room had been completely redone - bathroom & some of the floor - and others were dated, awaiting replacement such as the headboards, furniture and decor. The beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel does not have a restaurant or breakfast but we found a diner about 10 minutes away and was well worth the drive to Thomas's Ham & Eggery. Overall it is a nice place to stay, convenient to everything, and clean.

Hotel is very basic but well situated for Oyster Bay. The restaurants in the area, especially Rothman's and Massina, which is a super eat-in Deli. The rooms are quite basic but comfortable beds and the bathroom was nice. Our only negative was no lights at the bed side, which made it impossible to read before going to sleep, which we are in the habit of doing every night. Vincent, who checked us in, was very helpful.

Entrance was BEAUTIFUL, rooms were OUTDATED AND VERY VERY OLD . Advertised when entering hotel CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST, NO BREAKFAST 😢. FALSE ADVERTISING. Surrounding AREA is Beautiful.
