Cozy cabin that served my wife, toddler and I well. Nice stone fireplace with lots of firewood and great northwoods cabin vibe. Sunset views from dining table in the 4 season porch. Great location by OO and not a bad drive to Hayward. Would stay here again while nordic skiing. In the winter the cabin road is tricky to spot first time as it runs parallel with snowmobile trail off of the Wheel Inn lot, but if you look close you'll see it marked for vehicles and small sign. No close neighbors so felt very peaceful. Baseboard heat and fireplace provided plenty of heat for -16 night. Plow company came around 9:00am roughly to plow out after a large snowfall, so that was nice.

Beautiful and quiet location on the lake. Cabin was wonderful and had more than we needed. Grounds were perfect down to the lake and very tranquil. A canoe and paddleboards were available for use, we just didn't have a chance to use them but would in the future. Property manager was always very responsive. Highly recommend.

This cabin was perfect for a quiet get away for my husband and me. The cabin was overall maintained nicely and clean. Having the canoe and paddle boards was a great perk.

Great location, love the front porch/room and fireplace. Just perfect for the holiday getaway!! Quiet road so could go on walks! Didnt go near the water due to weather but the views from the house were great!!

We had a fantastic time in this cozy cabin for an relaxing anniversary getaway. Close enough to town to easily stock up on supplies, but far enough from the highway that you can feel totally disconnected from the outside world. The view of the lake out the back wall of windows is fabulous. And the place was well stocked with firewood and board games and puzzles for cozy nights in. It was exactly the kind of relaxing getaway we were hoping for.

The cabin was very clean ..looked exactly as the pictures online..The host always Replied back to my email questions…. The only Negative thingI can say about the stay is that the depth of the water by the dock and how weedy the water was to get out into the bigger part of the lake.. But overall I would definitely stay at this Cabin again…

Excellent property to relax and enjoy the view and observe wildlife. We had beautiful fall weather. Our dog loved the quiet lot to roam freely. Perfect lake for paddling.

What a beautiful cabin and property! Chris and I were in awe the moment we drove up to the property, went down to the dock and went inside the cabin! It looked exactly like their pictures, clean and spacious, just beautiful! There is plenty of room to spread out and we had a fire every night inside as cool the 2nd week of June! We ventured out in the canoe on the lake, going to the sandy beach island. The best fishing was just out from the cabin, my sis catching 2 - 5 lb. bass and by the island to the left of the cabin.A word of wisdom to those who want to go in the water by the dock, don’t!!! Lol! We had brought our kayaks, getting in off the dock. I tipped mine, ending up in the water and sunk in mud up to my thighs! It took a bit to get out, but I was laughing by the time I got out! When you get out by the swim raft and beyond, the water is clear and deep! We want to come back again already but need a full week next time! Thank you for sharing your piece of Northwoods heaven!

Gorgeous site with beautiful views from the cabin’s large front windows. Very comfortable cabin with all the amenities. The marshy area in front of the cabin by the dock had lots of wildlife including otters, mergansers, and loons. Although a bit more difficult, we had to load our kayak from the dock because of the deep mud near the shore made it impossible to step in the water. The kayaking was great on this beautiful quiet lake. Although advertised as a very private cabin on 3.5 acres, there is a rather large cabin quite close to the property which at times during our stay detracted from our privacy and the serenity.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed many hours in the sun room and sitting by the lake enjoying the vast array of wildlife. We saw several duck families, blue herons, loons, geese, and even an eagle, that somehow ended up in the lake, swimming around. We also saw a beaver every morning, and there were plenty of squirrels chipmunks, and birds in the yard. Make sure to listen to the eerie, but beautiful loon calls while sitting around an evening campfire. Fishing was excellent. I caught a musky on my second cast from the dock. I also enjoyed paddling around in the canoe one beautiful evening. I caught small mouth, large mouth bass and another musky. The lake was glass that evening and the loons even swam around with me for awhile. The cabin was well equipped and comfortable. The view from the deck and sunroom was spectacular. We enjoyed our coffee sitting out there each morning. Would highly recommend this VRBO for anyone looking for a relaxing/romantic getaway.

Great stay at this little gem! Very tidy and comfortable. Had a visit from a friendly doe each evening. Cabin well equipped with everything we needed. Bonsey (dog) loooved surveying his vacation kingdom from the little dock!!

Very clean, Everything I expected. My girlfriend and I loved it. Worth my 6 hr. drive. Recommend it to anyone who just wants peace and quiet, with a lake veiw site. I would like to come back soon. Very friendly town. And I love to support local towns. Thank you, So much Cassidy for letting us stay at your cabin. 5 stars place.

This northwoods cabin was nice. Check-in was super simple. The inside of the cabin was very tidy. The main reason we chose this cabin was for the enclosed porch with views of the lake. Downside, only two windows had screens which limited the lake breezes. Kayaking was good.

It would be difficult to find a cottage with a better lake view than this one. It's our second time here and we love it. Very comfortable in every respect.

This is our second stay. The cabin is a simple 2 bedroom with a bath. Great for our family of four. We love the cozy feeling, fireplace, and keeping things simple on a weekend winter getaway. The sunsets over the lake are stunning. The host has been easy to communicate with when needed.

The cabin is cozy and nicely furnished. Views are incredible. The lakeside, marsh, and lake provide photo ops as well as relaxing vistas. The area offers many chances to hike, bike, ski, or just relax and recharge.

This cabin is gorgeous, comfortable and welcoming. The birds provide all of the entertainment we needed. Cranes and loons and ducks and geese. blackbirds and peepers! We didn't meet the host but appreciated the love and care obvious in the cabin. Thank you!

Great little quaint cabin. Had everything I needed and was very clean. I was right between the winter and summer season but great location for both from a recreation standpoint. Beautiful views, close to town but not too close and had neat restaurants nearby. Very comfortable.

We had a wonderful time! The cabin was clean , cozy , quiet and peaceful ! Close to everything . And Cassidy was such a great host ! Highly recommend this property! I and a friend had a lovely writers' retreat on this lakeside cabin with a beautiful view and a fireplace. The host responded quickly to our questions, and we felt as comfortable as if we were at home. A beautiful view from the porch and within easy driving distance from the Twin Cities.

Perfect location and amenities with lakefront privacy. This stay had all of the things needed for a relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable stay. Landings for Lake Chippewa, downtown and great dining options were all within a 20 minute drive. Ample firewood was provided, quick communication from the owner and all in all a perfect getaway. Highly recommend this property!

We decided last minute to get away for a quick, midweek relaxation trip. We now wish we’d booked this cabin for a week! Check-in was a breeze, the cabin was spotless, and the western facing view of the lake was gorgeous at every hour of the day. The cabin is set back on a picturesque, tree-framed road with little to no traffic. We enjoyed morning walks with our coffee, and late nights around the campfire with our cocktails. (All firewood was provided!) We just can’t say enough great things about this place! Thanks for a great stay - we will definitely be back!

We have stayed at this location before and were excited to stay again. Unfortunately, after the first night I tested positive for covid. I sent an email we were leaving early and the response was kind and accommodating. It is a beautiful location and hope to stay there again sometime.

Owner was super accommodating. Place was clean and just like the pictures on the website. Close to Hayward, quiet, just a nice VRBO all around. Very Happy with our stay.

Cozy cabin that served my wife, toddler and I well. Nice stone fireplace with lots of firewood and great northwoods cabin vibe. Sunset views from dining table in the 4 season porch. Great location by OO and not a bad drive to Hayward. Would stay here again while nordic skiing. In the winter the cabin road is tricky to spot first time as it runs parallel with snowmobile trail off of the Wheel Inn lot, but if you look close you'll see it marked for vehicles and small sign. No close neighbors so felt very peaceful. Baseboard heat and fireplace provided plenty of heat for -16 night. Plow company came around 9:00am roughly to plow out after a large snowfall, so that was nice.

The cabin is cozy and nicely furnished. Views are incredible. The lakeside, marsh, and lake provide photo ops as well as relaxing vistas. The area offers many chances to hike, bike, ski, or just relax and recharge.

Excellent property to relax and enjoy the view and observe wildlife. We had beautiful fall weather. Our dog loved the quiet lot to roam freely. Perfect lake for paddling.

The cabin was perfect as it was exactly what was advertised. The host was very prompt with communication.. however I found her a little snippy, and I found some of the communication in her white book a little sarcastic and unfriendly as well. Overall a great property.. just not the friendliest host
