Nice hotel, for the price. Pool & Sauna hours aren't practical as they don't open until late in the day. (Unusual for a hotel to have lifeguard). Also, only 3 machines in the 'gym' and two of them weren't fully functional.

Love that there is a hotel like this so close to the university that is not trying to jack up the price. I was glad that there was a heated pool, hot tub, and sauna. I used all three. The room was clean and the staff was pleasant and helpful. I’ve stayed there a couple of times now and it has been a win each time.

We only stopped here overnight, the hotel was satisfactory but the elevators were a bit scary and one was broken. It is an older hotel and could use a bit updating, The soap holder fell off the bathtube.

I’m glad it was only for one night. Restaurant (room service) was subpar. The curtains didn’t close all the way, so it was light in the room when we went to sleep and when we woke up in the morning. We specifically booked this hotel because of the pools and they were closed during our stay because there was no lifeguard on duty. We won’t be staying here again.

The only disappointment was the fact that they were not running the airport shuttle as advertised and the bar never opened, I had called specifically about both. Not a huge deal, but still added cab fares that I wasn't expecting.

RIT Inn and Conference Center has swimming pool, and spa that were very clean. The carpets were clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Air conditioners made lots of noise but aren’t needed all year. Bathroom vent fans run constantly. Bathrooms were clean with good supplies. Good breakfasts.

The front desk staff was very helpful. The hotel offers a on demand shuttle service to RIT and other locations within 5 miles. As I was there for my RIT student son and didnt have a car, the shuttle was very helpful for me. Note the hotel shuttle is in addition to the one offered by the school. The bar tender was also lovely and I enjoyed a nice glass of wine in the evening. Breakfast was also good...my only criticism was that they gave me too much food 😀 My room was a bit outdated, but spacious and clean. All and all, I would definitely stay there again.

First time staring at the Inn. It was a great stay. Even though part of the Inn was used by RIT students you would not even notice. The main halls are kept clean and the pool has a lifeguard on duty.

Generally, we enjoyed our stay. Room was clean if somewhat plain. No safe. Bathroom needed updating but was functional. Restaurant on premises had excellent breakfasts but was not included in price. Indoor pool looked nice, but we didn't use it. Hotel staff were ok. Parking was tight on the weekend but fine weekdays. We would use again as long as the price was decent. Just don't expect the Hilton.

A couple elevators were off line making it necessary to hike a ways with suitcases but the place was clean and spotless which is something I value above minor inconveniences. There’s nothing worse, in my view, that a room that isn’t clean! I stayed her twice in the same week. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Firstly, the carpet inside our room smelled. Secondly, the electronic keys to our room stopped working on two different occasions and had to be re-coded. Additionally, rooms are not automatically cleaned. You have to ask at the front desk before 12 o’clock and even though we did the front desk forgot to tell the cleaning staff. You get what you pay for.

We had a reservation and missed our first night due to a cancellation in our connecting flight. Upon arrival we were told the hotel was booked and it took nearly 30 minutes to find us a room, mind you it’s 2am at this point when we were checking in. It was odd that we prepaid for 3 nights and upon arrival was told the hotel was booked. Our room was not clean, the bathroom trash can was full and there was poo in the toilet. On the television, none of the channels were what they said they were and the guide was not accessible. It’s a beautiful space maybe we just caught a bad visit

Lobby was upgraded and looks nice. Room we had and floor was not. Carpet was old and less than desirable to look at. Bed was a full size. Difficult for two adults to sleep comfortably. Beds didn’t sleep well.

Enjoyed are stay. Grandkids loved the pools. The only negative was there was no safe in the room for valuables while out of room.

This property is clean that’s the only good part. My room barely had WiFi working.. it cut out and was out of range half of the time. The tv in room is old and small. The AC that was on warm stopped heating after half an hour until you reset it.. so you slept in the cold. But the worst part: when I complained to front desk about the problem with the AC in the morning they were like “ya we know about that problem already” …and your doing nothing about it???

The keys demagnetized at least twice a day. The TV is very small The good. I slept well. The waitress at Petals was great. The fitness center was ok. And good location. It seemed clean. I’d probably go again if it was the cheapest option.

I called before I booked to ensure there would be a shuttle from the airport. They told me it ran Monday-Friday and just to call the morning of travel. I called the morning of. They told me call when I land, and they would send someone right over. I called and sat on hold forever, only to be told the driver wasn’t available for at least an hour. I told them I would call an Uber as I couldn’t wait at the airport for an hour with two young children who had been traveling all day. Upon arrival, I asked if I could switch to a room with two beds but was told they didn’t have any rooms available. However, the lifeguard said they were really empty this time of year. Our toilet was clogged before we even used it. Otherwise, the room was clean. The pool was decent but cold. The lack of desire to help or compensate in any way when they couldn’t send the shuttle sealed the deal though. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.

The front desk staff wasn't knowledgeable about restaurant availability or local restaurants. We tried the "restaurant " and it was basically a cafeteria. Yhe staff took 30 minutes to get a beer. Everyone was very nice, just untrained. The am front desk person was not great.

This is not a very nice property. Useful for a business meeting but it’s tired and the staff don’t seem to care much. Needs some rehab.

The facility and property are acceptable and convenient. We were disappointed that the hotel staff was not helpful in recovering my sons favorite stuffed animal that was definitely left behind in the room we stayed in. Make sure you double check your room before you check out because if you leave something behind it’s probably gone.

The hotel was great. The person who checked me in was delightful. The person who checked me out was not kind, brush and rude. I am sure it was a bad day but it really did put a dent in the stay. The hotel room was clean, quite and very pleasant.

The hotel was great. The person who checked me in was delightful. The person who checked me out was not kind, brush and rude. I am sure it was a bad day but it really did put a dent in the stay. The hotel room was clean, quite and very pleasant.

This is our 3rd or 4th time staying here. It is always well maintained and clean. We had an issue with the outlets in our room. None worked. Maintenance personnel was there within minutes to look at the problem and we ended up having to move to another room. They are so accommodating.

The RIT Inn is a reliable choice for the south Rochester area, particularly if you’re visiting the RIT campus or driving to Buffalo. The immediate area is pretty nondescript and nothing is exactly walkable, but there is close access to freeways. The rooms have everything you need, including fridge, microwave and coffee maker, though the decor is definitely a bit worn around the edges.Front desk staff weren’t exactly welcoming, but restaurant staff were delightful and happy to go the extra mile.

Staff friendly. The place was clean. It's all a bit dated, there are newer options. The tile floors in the main hallway struck me as an odd choice. It's in good shape, just not cute. I thought it would be closer to RIT - there are also closer options to campus.

Price was excellent, close to RIT. Property is old, but well maintained. Most staff members had a scowl on their face seem disinterested. A couple of them were nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and we liked the clean wood floors.

Booked this hotel specifically because of the amenities including an on site bar and restaurant as I was traveling alone. The bar is now only open 3x a week and the restaurant was closed every time that it was supposed to be open. The hours were posted at check in for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was not open once during those time frames that I tried to go.

My room was incredibly clean and possibly newly renovated. It was large by most standards, even though it was the least expensive type of room. It was incredibly quiet. The Petals restaurant was good, but it would have been nice if the more formal restaurant had been open (undergoing renovation).

I’m glad it was only for one night. Restaurant (room service) was subpar. The curtains didn’t close all the way, so it was light in the room when we went to sleep and when we woke up in the morning. We specifically booked this hotel because of the pools and they were closed during our stay because there was no lifeguard on duty. We won’t be staying here again.

Service was friendly and our room was very clean. However, I needed to drop a star due to the very loud A/C unit that made it very difficult to sleep. Also, no free breakfast. We had breakfast at the sit-down restaurant (Petals) for the price, it was just so-so.

The front desk staff was very helpful. The hotel offers a on demand shuttle service to RIT and other locations within 5 miles. As I was there for my RIT student son and didnt have a car, the shuttle was very helpful for me. Note the hotel shuttle is in addition to the one offered by the school. The bar tender was also lovely and I enjoyed a nice glass of wine in the evening. Breakfast was also good...my only criticism was that they gave me too much food 😀 My room was a bit outdated, but spacious and clean. All and all, I would definitely stay there again.

The person at the desk during my check-in, Jason, was professional, friendly and very welcoming. We had a couple of good laughs as he very efficiently got my room ready. The hotel is large with lots of entrances and hallways. I got a little confused about where my room was. But the room was comfortable and clean. A very good value and a very friendly staff.

This was our second time staying at RIT - we definitely preferred the executive room we had last time it was more updated and seemed cleaner (mostly just the tub had a bunch of grime and possibly black mold in the grout the rest of the room was ok just dated and still carpeted. Staff were friendly and check-in/out was easy. Kids were disappointed not to get to swim before we left as we didn't check pool hours for weekdays and the pool didn't open until 3pm. All in all though the hotel is in a nice, quiet area, rooms are spacious and a good distance from what we were doing so it is a top choice for our family to stay
