Extended Stay America Suites - Long Island - Melville

the lobby was clean old looking. the staff acted professional. the room was old, kitchen counter top damaged, tv didnt work. toilet seat very loose. room clean. breakfast bar tiny.

I'm very disappointed in my stay because I specifically picked this hotel because it was pet friendly and I called to make sure that they had good Wi-Fi since I have a camera set up for my special needs dog and I was going to be out for a few hours at a party. The Wi-Fi had one bar on it so therefore I could not get the camera to work and when I went to the contact the front desk I realized that my phone was completely disconnected so I had to go back down to the lobby to speak with someone who said I could upgrade and pay extra money for the Wi-Fi which they did offer to wave but it still did not work at the end of the day I had to take the dog with me which was a really big inconvenience & I am really upset that I was and not given the correct information. Also there was no ice machine on the floor & I went down to the lobby again & was told they did not have any ice and that I could make the ice tray in the refrigerator which who has time for that when you're staying in a hotel besides there were no amenities soap nowhere to even put the soap and everything in the room you needed to ask for if you need anything which I find when you're paying close to $400 a night to stay in a hotel in Long Island that you would at least have some shampoo and a couple of amenities like tissues or something. The room was clean but it was very old and outdated with the counters swelling apart. I would not stay here again.I was completely overcharged through hotels.com & they would not price

King studio room was spacious and clean. Overall, a great stay. Would come back again.

A little depressing. A guest smoking outside the front door. No shampoo in the room. Breakfast was minimalist. Adequate and clean though.
