Hampton Inn Nanuet

My feet and legs are covered with bed bugs bites. Elevator inside smells like pee. Inside the room, they put a ton of fragrance of cleaning chemicals, you walk in.And it's toxic to breathe there and you cannot open windows. Conditioner bottle in my shower was completely empty and after I told them that it needs to be refilled.They cleaned the next through day in my room but the bottle remained unfilled. Bottle of body lotion was completely empty.So I had to call in the middle of the nights to ask staff to bring me a refill. So instead of going to sleep after shower, I had to wait for lotion to be brought. There are huge potholes that you cannot avoid on the entrance to the parking lot. The only nice thing I can say is the staff was nice and helpful.

Amazing room very soft and comfy bed but what i love the most was the 24 hour coffee bar made the cold weather not so cold. Thank you DACIA

Great stay even for one night. Staff is very nice, breakfast was included.. room was clean, the ONLY alight negative would be the solo elevator is quite sloooow, but that is it.. I stayed there twice for a tournament and would stay there again..

★★★☆☆ My second time staying here. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth, just for a look a little hiccup that worked itself out. Decent value for the location. Minutes away from every store and restaurants. Heated pool is a plus.

I had a wonderful getaway with my sister at this hotel, we had the best getaway experience yet! The staff was lovely and the room was beautiful and clean. Even during the breakfast hours we didn’t feel overwhelmed, it was peaceful. The one thing I would say is that parking after a certain hour gets tricky so beware that after a certain hour there might not be a parking spot available.

The elevator had a problem

Elevator was broken. Breakfast didn't have many kosher options.

We had the misfortune of arriving the night before a tv show was being filmed. The parkoling lot was blocked off and we needed to park at a neighboring hotel for the night. The dining area was closed for breakfast and the traffic the next morning was a huge inconvenience. The hotel knew well in advance this was happenong and there was no notice given to customers when the booking was made or part of any of the many messages received prior to check-in. Had i been aware of the extent of the inconvenience prior to booking i could have made arrangements to stay somewhere else.

I loved the staff and the location. It’s unfortunate though that my room had a terrible humid smell, it’s as if there was no air ventilation. The bathtub was grossly stained and the wall in the bathroom ceiling was moldy, which had proved my point of no air ventilation.

Room is clean, staff is accommodating.

The floor was dirty in my room, and we were told it was too late to have someone come and vacuum. Also, the drain in the shower was broken and you could see some scum around the drain. The manager was nice enough to give us enough points on our Hilton account to get a free night on our next stay, but we wish things had worked out better.

Excellent stay. Very clean and staff was very nice.

Hotel was very clean, beds and pillows comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.

The property needs a remodeling, Mildew is present in bathroom, the water from window leaking into room, the wallpaper by the window is peeling off. The heater was not keeping correct settings and room would get too hot. The dust on top of the tv and some areas, overall other Hampton's are much better condition. The free breakfast had expired yogurt. I would give 2 stars

Unfortunately i found 2 spiders in the room,one crawling on the bed the other in the bathroom ..the air conditioner noise everytime starts is ridiculously loud specially when you try to sleep..not Happy with the experience i had ..

Comfortable, clean rooms. Great amenities. Friendly and helpful staff.

Customer service was as expected, professional and pleasant. The building in general is in poor conditions. The ceiling is really stained what makes it super ugly. An employee appeared to have family members (kids) in and out of the kitchen with her, while she will take care of the breakfast área. Two of those kids were laying down on the seats (booth) occupying a lot of space in an already limited space while playing on their tablets. The elevator was shaky and not the cleanest. My daughter found a small cockroach in the bathroom, the shower area has a black mold stain on the ceiling!

Our room was very modern and thoughtfully designed - lots of space to sit, lots of surface space to put down our stuff (laptop, books, etc), even a nice bedside writing table by the couch and super comfortable mattress. The bathroom also had good space, plenty of hooks, even a nightlight. Breakfast was great - even offered scrambled eggs and hash browns!

No internet connection for the whole time!!!!

I can't begin to describe how disappointed we are in the last stay at the Hampton Inn at Nanuet. We were there from December 20-24 of this year. What we discovered within one day was how poorly the HVAC performed for the floor we stayed on - it was completely driven by the heating system with no way to adjust the temperature down. Compounding the problem was the inadequate venting of the bathroom which only added on to the temperature and humidity of the rooms. We had to stop taking showers or only quick cold showers or risk spiking the temperature and humidity in the room. We occupied two rooms and the room with our daughters was almost 80 degrees and ours was 72 degrees for the duration of the trip. When we contacted the local management we were told there was nothing that could be done because the AC was off and only the heat could be adjusted - the problem was that it only went up and not down - the fan controls had no effect on the room temperature. We contacted corporate and established a Hotel Assistance Case. The staff offered a small fan to help with the lack of air circulation as all the main fan would do is heat up the room. The small fan was not functional.On Monday the general manager asked my wife why we hadn't contacted staff to alert them. We had and also contacted corporate headquarters to complain.She offered to change rooms but we informed her we were leaving the next day. We had stayed there previously and never had problems of this nature before. Beware.

Always a good stay here. It's right off the highway, which is convenient, but you do get some road noise in all rooms.

It was comfortable and quiet

Front desk staff were great! Heating system, in the room, was noisy and did not seem to be effectively working.

The room was too warm and oddly humid w condensation on the window even w the fan turned up. Could only turn the temp down to 65 which didnt touch the overall "rain forest" vibe. Asked at the desk but nothing changed Room was dim, only chair very uncomfortable Breakfast was not what I expected based on other stays.

Overall good stay! Rooms were clean and spacious.

Front desk extremely helpful and friendly. Room was clean however it was very noisy … between the sounds from the A/C, the hallway and the street noise, it was tough to get a good night’s sleep.

It was amazing the room was huge

Staff was very nice, and the room was very accommodating. I didn't like the fact that i was not informed that housekeeping only cleaned the room every other day.

Leaking toilet was fixed within the hour we called about it.

Hotel told us we would have connecting rooms but put us on separate floors blaming Expedia. Took manager to get rooms on same floor.

Sent the hotel a note that I would be very late checking in. When we arrived front door was locked and no one at front desk or answering courtesy phone. Had to find another hotel at 4 am! When i returned next day, was told to call Expedia for refund. Still waiting!!!

from check in to check out, all went very smoothly. staff was friendly, informed about area as well as hotel and eager to help.

Property provided what was expected; friendly service, quick check-in, comfy beds and good breakfast in the morning! Upon checking into our room we discovered our refrigerator was not functioning and leaking, a call to the front desk and within minutes maintenance was there and swapped in another unit! Thanks, Hampton Inn!

Our stay here we average, the staff when checking in were very pleasant and informative on when breakfast was and offered any needed assistance. The room could have been cleaned a little better, particularly the shower as there was bits of seaweed from the previous guests. Unfortunately we were very displeased by the poor customer service we received when checking out. The two front desk staff members didn’t greet us nor ask what we needed when waiting in front of the desk which is extremely rude and unprofessional in my opinion. It’s almost like you wanted to say, “don’t everyone jump at once…”.

Front desk, personnel of Sophie and Stephanie were outstanding!!!! They are rock stars. Everything was clean and comfortable.

no exhaust fan in bathroom=a sauna. front desk botched our wake-up call. instead of 6:30 he set it for 7:30.

Great location, very nice hotel in a good price range. Close to major highways, many food options and shopping all close by.

Check-in staff was very friendly and efficient; room was clean and comfortable; breakfast was good/diverse and very helpful for our travel plans; very convenient location for restaurants and big mall--we were very pleased with our one-night stay in Nanuet.

I didn't love the location - through convenient for getting on the highway, it's not nice and the parking lot is too cramped. I booked quickly and mistakenly thought it was another hotel I liked before, with ample parking on Route 59. So it was additionally disappointing because I thought it was a different location.

Hotel was close to lots of shopping and restaurants, as well as easy access to highways

I was only ther for one day but was very glad I went there. The room was very nice, the help was very cordial and friendly.The price was very reasonable. For breakfast their was a large variety of food. The hotel is right off the highway.

Traffic tough there.

Close to highway

The property was conveniently located next to a major highway this made getting to and from the property very easy. The staff was incredibly friendly and made this day all the more enjoyable

Only downside is it was hard to access without lots of u-turns

I have been to this property before.It looks like it was renovated just recently.Great job! As always ,I loved the free breakfast but there was no starch in the menu. Would suggest hash browns, home fries or any starchy ingredient. The receptionists were very professional and courteous.Overall I had a pleasant stay at that facility.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. We had an awesome experience. The breakfast was excellent. That chef in the kitchen did a great job with breakfast. Whenever we are in New York again we will definitely be staying here.
