Very nice older motel. Clean and well maintained. Right on the St Lawrence with nice views. Grounds are large and well maintained. Pool is large and very well cared for. Several games for guests to use. Granddaughter loved the pool and motel.

It was lovely being in viewing distance of the St. Lawrence River. We really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony to read. But I would definitely bring bug spray next time. The best part of the Inn was that the outdoor pool was open so we could swim before heading off to Graduation festivities.

This was a pleasant surprise! Whether you were in the pool, on one of the Muskoka chairs in the grassy area, or on your balcony, you had an absolutely beautiful sunset view over the St Lawrence, watching the ships come and go. The restaurant attached to the hotel should NOT be overlooked. With a wonderful view over the water, aged wood trim, phenomenal menu, and friendly staff, it was a welcome spot to dine and have a drink. After 8 hours on the road, this spot was a great place to unwind. It is the one place we stayed on this trip that sticks out in our minds.

We love the St. Lawrence, so we were very happy to be close enough to experience the river. We enjoyed the free breakfast. The room was clean. We got a two double bed room. There is a separate door to the bathroom and the area with the fridge and sink. That room had a dehumidifier in it and was really warm when it ran. I had to shut the door to that room to keep the sleeping area cold enough. I didn’t love that. The shower had great pressure.

The property was definitely clean and the room was updated. The rest of the facility seemed clean but a little outdated. Doors to the hallway and adjoining room are paper thin. Hear conversation in the other room and screaming kids / slamming doors. Once everyone was asleep it was very quiet. Hot breakfast alright.

The person at the reception desk solved a major problem: I had made the reservation through Expedia for 2 rooms, but the inn’s system only showed 1 room booked. I showed her my Expedia email confirmation, and she assigned us our second room which was the last one available!

What I didn’t like was they said they would put my receipt under my door by 1:30am because I was leaving very early in the morning. I did not get that receipt. They were helpful telling me several options for dinner in the area and they had a restaurant right on the property when I checked in.

Everything was excellent. The breakfast was hot and fresh daily. The Restaurant is outstanding. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The view from the room was magnificent. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I slept soundly and woke up refreshed. The only thing was that on check in, the young man didn’t seem to know that they provided bottles of water in the room. He sent us up the highway to buy some. Enjoyed our stay immensely. I wish we could bring our little dogs though then we would book a longer trip.

The hotel is great but the breakfast was a disappointment. Cold, dry, oatmeal was a crockpot of water with some oatmeal floating in it, I was there 30 minutes and no staff showed up

Our visit was fine except for the breakfast. Both days were lacking in quality and service. One man is not enough to handle the room. One morning I coundn’t find a folk. No yogurt for both days. The toaster took forever to toast an England muffin. Both days ran out of coffee

This was a pleasant surprise! Whether you were in the pool, on one of the Muskoka chairs in the grassy area, or on your balcony, you had an absolutely beautiful sunset view over the St Lawrence, watching the ships come and go. The restaurant attached to the hotel should NOT be overlooked. With a wonderful view over the water, aged wood trim, phenomenal menu, and friendly staff, it was a welcome spot to dine and have a drink. After 8 hours on the road, this spot was a great place to unwind. It is the one place we stayed on this trip that sticks out in our minds.

Beautiful view of the St Lawrence River from our balcony; restaurant with bar on site with a lovely patio; very good menu selection and wine list all reasonably priced; breakfast catered to everyone's tastes. We will definitely stay here again.

I booked the least expensive room which turned out to have a view of the top of the overhang of the building. The room had a window with a curtain that smelled so bad I was afraid to open it for fear it would spread it’s funk throughout the room. The window which looked like I could have opened it was covered in filth and dead bugs. The bed was comfortable. The refrigerator and microwave worked well. Breakfast was a basic carb fest. If you like to eat cereal and bread you are in luck! The restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday, the 2 nights that I was there. To be fair the property is beautiful. It’s on the river with lots of places to sit and enjoy views of the river. All in all it was disappointing.

I called prior to arrival… Specifically asked what time breakfast is served. NEVER informed dining room was closed for roof repairs. In the office….. Continental breakfast is offered.. The coffee was hot water.. not drinkable. Sitting outside in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the River .. it was a beautiful evening but the many cute vents from the septic/ leech field was disheartening… The room needed a good dusting(specifically the lamps!) … Won’t be returning

The setting is beautiful; the rooms comfortable. The restaurant building and dining room were under major renovation so no real food service. Continental breakfast minimal. It shd be perfect when renovation is complete.
