The facility is clean, eco friendly with friendly staff. Its outdated bed though. The spring creaking everytime i reposition during sleep. And wall is thin as paper. I could hear next door convo through out the night. And thats just regular voice. Cant imagine if there are screaming children or babies next door. Location is great. Plenty of place to wine and dine. And nearby stores like dollar tree, aldi, tops, sunoco. Love the hot tub and heated pool.

Room was spacious and clean. Pool and hot tub were great. Bed was comfortable. The hot food at breakfast wasn’t very fresh but it didnt seem like there was alot of people in the hotel so probably just not a busy enough breakfast to remake the hot food again. But the other options were still good and i still had a good breakfast. bagels, toast, muffins, yogurt and parafait toppings, cereal, etc. 24/7 juice and coffee. Walking distance to many bars, breweries and restaurants. Great stay would stay again for sure.

This hotel was amazing. We came for a night away and it was above my expectations . Check in was at 3 and check out at 11. The breakfast was so good. The water pressure was wonderful. I enjoyed the jetted tub. The pool was a good temperature and the hot tub was very clean. Everyone was very very kind and the gentleman taking care of breakfast even asked if we needed help taking our stuff to the car. The Mexican place across the street had really good food. The beds were really comfortable. I would highly recommend!!

This one is very good for a family to stay. They have Swimming pool which is open from 10 AM to 10 PM, also have Hot tubs. Morning they are serving continental Breakfast Bacon and eggs bites and Potatoes, Breads, Muffins, Bagels, Hot Pan cakes and Yogurts. The dining area also serves juices and coffee 24/7. Overall satisfied.

So first good things. The room was clean and nice. Keurig, microwave and fridge in the room. Nice bathroom and fast internet. Swimming pool with hot tub was a nice thing too. Coffee available 24/7 from a coffee machine was awesome as well. The gym was ok, but the dumbbells were broken, so no triceps for me. The breakfast. Yes, they have complimentary breakfast. Coffee, tea, juice, susages, eggs, pancakes, cereal and bread. The thing i didnt like about the breakfast was that everything was wrapped in plastic. The utensils plastc, plates plastic, cups plastic. Our plant in going nowhere.

Staff was absolutely amazing. We would definitely stay here again. Only complaint was the pool was cloudy and smelled bad. My daughter got sick from swimming in it both nights we were there. Another person said the same thing. We notified the desk but did not see an improvement. The front desk was very kind and informative of the area and our personal needs.

The staff was wonderful and so accommodating, we planned a night away for our 6 year olds birthday - her request was a big hotel and a swimming pool, and this was perfect. The pool is great for little ones who are still unsure of swimming solo, our 7 year old mastered swimming during our stay and loved the bubbles in the spa area. Staff was super friendly and helpful, allowed us to check in early and leave a little after our check out time so we could get some extra swimming in with no issues at all. Definitely plan on returning in the future when we need a getaway during the cold winter months.

The hotel was very nice. All of the people working there were very polite. The only negative is that the rugs need to be replaced. The room itself was extremely clean, but you could tell the rug just had so many stains on it that no cleaning was going to get it out they needed to be replaced.

We have stayed here once a year for the past 3 years. We like the service and price. The hotel could use some updating and a deep clean. Its a bit musty. The breakfast in the morning is nice and delicious with a rotating menu. We will likely stay here again.

Room was very clean, beds and pillows were great. Carpet was a little worn and had a stain or two showing their age but not dirty. Breakfast was excellent Saturday morning but Sunday morning the premade omelettes were overcooked and hard. Staff was top notch. Bathroom had one switch that worked both the vent fan and light, which is fine except the fan is kinda loud. lol Overall an excellent stay and well worth the cost.

I don’t recommend a room on the 1 st floor very noisy..doors slamming and curtains are not all the way blacked out won’t close tight enough .. and smaller than the room we had last stay 3 rd floor .. was way better for noise level and curtains and space in the room

Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. The bed was very comfortable and the free breakfast was quite good. I’m not in love with the coffee vending machine dispensers that have appeared in some hotels,including this one. Also,it seems that they have a problem with the refrigerators in the room. The first night our fridge would make terrible noises and froze up. The gave us a different one day two and that one froze over night. Overall I would come back again.

Jillian greeted us at the front desk and checked us in. She was so nice and helpful and made us feel welcome. Our room was large, nice, clean, with a comfortable bed. Large bathroom also. We left a day early due to rain so we didn't ge to enjoy all the amenities. We highly recommend staying here and hope to return soon.

Hotel is beautiful! Staff are exceptional! I experienced a medical issue and had to check out early. Staff were very helpful and accommodating in working with us. Will definitely book here again! Pool and hot tub were very nice! Breakfast and breakfast staff exceptional. He even helped my husband getting us trolly cart and loading car!

The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The night before check out a family member had a medical emergency and needed to go to ER and they work with us to make check out extended because of hospitalization.

Hotel was good, and overall very clean. Check in process was quick, pool was warm, breakfast was good. An issue with the shower was attended to immediately. Only other issues we had during our stay was broken bowflex weights in the gym, as well as barking dogs. There were 3 large dogs staying in the room across the hall from ours. (hotel policy is not more than two dogs in a room, up to 80 lbs each) The owners left the dogs there and went out for hours. The staff was unable to reach the owners and therefor the barking persisted for hours into the evening. Even once the owners returned the barking did not fully stop. Several other guests complained of the same situation.

The location of the hotel was also convenient, with easy access to nearby wineries and scenic spots. I truly felt like a valued guest throughout my stay, and I cannot recommend the Best Western Hotel in Penn Yan enough. It exceeded my expectations in every way, and I look forward to returning in the future.

When we go to the Finger Lakes, we always stay here. The breakfast is very nice, along with the 24-hour juice and coffee availability. The most important reason we come is that the staff is very accommodating for our child’s food allergy. They have always provided us with a plate of food that my son can eat, from the kitchen, preventing any cross contamination of allergens from the trays for the public. Very nice and helpful!

Jillian greeted us at the front desk and checked us in. She was so nice and helpful and made us feel welcome. Our room was large, nice, clean, with a comfortable bed. Large bathroom also. We left a day early due to rain so we didn't ge to enjoy all the amenities. We highly recommend staying here and hope to return soon.

The staff was wonderful and so accommodating, we planned a night away for our 6 year olds birthday - her request was a big hotel and a swimming pool, and this was perfect. The pool is great for little ones who are still unsure of swimming solo, our 7 year old mastered swimming during our stay and loved the bubbles in the spa area. Staff was super friendly and helpful, allowed us to check in early and leave a little after our check out time so we could get some extra swimming in with no issues at all. Definitely plan on returning in the future when we need a getaway during the cold winter months.

Room was spacious and clean. Pool and hot tub were great. Bed was comfortable. The hot food at breakfast wasn’t very fresh but it didnt seem like there was alot of people in the hotel so probably just not a busy enough breakfast to remake the hot food again. But the other options were still good and i still had a good breakfast. bagels, toast, muffins, yogurt and parafait toppings, cereal, etc. 24/7 juice and coffee. Walking distance to many bars, breweries and restaurants. Great stay would stay again for sure.

The advertising and photos were accurate but we were very surprised to find there was no vineyard but instead a very busy and loud traffic intersection all day and night. That said, the motel and room were modern and comfortable.

This hotel was amazing. We came for a night away and it was above my expectations . Check in was at 3 and check out at 11. The breakfast was so good. The water pressure was wonderful. I enjoyed the jetted tub. The pool was a good temperature and the hot tub was very clean. Everyone was very very kind and the gentleman taking care of breakfast even asked if we needed help taking our stuff to the car. The Mexican place across the street had really good food. The beds were really comfortable. I would highly recommend!!

Bed was good, albeit very soft. The breakfast was not so good. The egg soufflé was questionable. The bagel was hard. Coffee was good, as was the banana bread. Two more nights here, so hopefully we will see improvement.

A good basic hotel with everything we needed for a 3-day stay. Room was very comfortable, with a king size bed and even a little sitting area with couch and chair and table. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was adequate, with a good coffee machine (choices of different types of coffee, which was very nice!) Location good, walking distance to a pretty good Mexican restaurant, and fancier restaurants just a few minutes away. Penn Yan is a cute little town right on beautiful Keuka Lake...very peaceful and serene. The whole area is absolutely beautiful. We drove all over and really enjoyed the wonderful scenery. Most of the activities we did seemed to be more south, however (like Treman State Park, Buttermilk Falls, Watkins Glen, Montour Falls, Ithaca) and the town is a bit too far away from many of those places. Next time we'd probably stay closer to the southern part of either Seneca Lake or Cayuga.
