So glad I found the Blu Hotel. Everything about my stay was amazing. Clean big rooms, excellent breakfast, pool was nice and the staff were all so friendly and nice.

The pool was dirty and lightly maintenances. The hotel and rooms were only partially updated throughout. The overall look of the room and hotel was disappointing. The bed was nice. The place definity had maintenance needs in some areas of the entire hotel and room.

I got a great night's sleep after a string of bad hotel stays, and the atmosphere, staff were great. I did though, book this / search and find this, because of the outdoor pool, and that was the bad part. The water was green on a gray day, there was bird poop all over, chairs with no tables, uncomfortable deck loungers, and just a very shabby, motel feel. Not cool. So if a pool doesn't matter to you, you'll enjoy your stay. I wish I could have taken the bed with me! I do think the TV should be on a wall across from the bed instead of off to the side, but that's a small thing.

I will never stay here again. I booked this hotel to use the pool but the pool was closed. The couch and carpet was very nasty. The maid service did a horrible job with cleaning the rooms. The tub was not clean, non of the lights worked.

From the outside this hotel looks pretty run down and sketchy. The inside common areas are okay. The hotel smells fresh and it's clean but the condition of the common areas are a little beat up. However, I have literally stayed in wonderful hotels all over the world and the beds in this hotel are among the best I've ever slept on. Very very comfortable beds, the breakfast in the morning was very good. The breakfast area is set up very nicely and the food was good. Free parking, free breakfast, and definitely the best price around and a good staff so with all of those positives I can deal with the outside of the hotel looking pretty dumpy.

Mold in every room especially above the shower. Old, dated and not clean at all. Would NEVER stay here. And they refuse to give us our money for 4 day stay when we didn't even stay 10 minutes because my husbands immediately started having breathing issues. He has a compromised immune system. Note the low lighting in the hotel so you can't see the filth and the elevator stopped working so we had to walk back down the stairs with all our stuff. Did not even have the correct room available upon arrival but we were fine with that. Just can't sleep for 4 days in disgusting conditions.Thanks but no thanks.

Pictures of the hotel look decent enough, but it is a pretty old hotel. Our room had a broken desk that collapsed when used, the bathroom door was literally splitting in half broken, mold in the bathroom, mysterious stains on the comforter. When I went to speak to the staff at the front desk he was very dismissive of the issues and said he doesn’t know what’s wrong with my room it’s a my room issue and he would get the phone looked at in the morning after we checked out.

I would look for someplace else first, but I could stay here again if it were the only available in this price range. 1. Lots of noisy doors. Unable to open or close the door to my room without an extra shove that makes a loud thump every time. Steel door scrapes against the frame. Thought this kind of problem was limited to wooden doors that warp from humidity?! Seems as if there are many other misaligned doors in the building, as you can hear thumps frequently during the night and early morning. Building has an open layout with hardly any hallways, which means you can see and hear most doors in the entire hotel while standing outside your room. 2. Shower drain issues. Inches of water in the tub when you're finished. It does eventually drain 15 minutes later… Day 1 - Asked the front desk to fix, no change. Day 3, shower still full of water from the night before. Contact the front desk again. They finally came to fix it.

We stay here every time we visit Cincy. Fifteen minute drive to downtown Ann's about half the price of hotels in downtown. Super friendly staff and unique style and art in the hotel itself make this a great stay.

Room 219 had electrical issues which were a safety hazard. The lamps, nor light over the sink near the bathroom worked, and I was told that they could not be repaired because of electrical issues. I was told that on the morning of day 2, May 25, 2025. The water in sink was extremely slow to go down drain, there was no shower gel in bathroom. I asked for some shower gel and did not receive any at all. The one desk staff (male) advised that he was coming to room on May 24, 2025 to check lights, sink, and bring shower gel, but he never came to the room. I had to complain the next morning. I was also told that I’d receive a discount for my visit with limited lights in my room. I didn’t receive any discount whatsoever. Needless to say, the visit was not pleasant.

The manager on duty for my stay was very accommodating. They made the stay stress free and easy at check-in. I didn't actually have the chance to enjoy the breakfast myself. I enjoyed my stay. It was clean, comfortable and convenient. All the staff were welcoming and very helpful. A special shot out to Aisha and Kalilah who went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed during my stay. Awesome Job and amazing customer service.

We had a fantastic stay here. I was not sure about it as I had never heard of this hotel before, but it was beautifully designed, very clean, had free parking, and the staff was wonderful. I will definitely stay here again.

We stay here every time we visit Cincy. Fifteen minute drive to downtown Ann's about half the price of hotels in downtown. Super friendly staff and unique style and art in the hotel itself make this a great stay.

Very clean, nice friendly staff, many restaurants in the area, nice safe area, outdoor pool, complimentary breakfast, private sitting areas throughout the hotel so I could step away to take phone calls, hotel smelled good and inviting, the king room was so spacious and clean. This was such an unexpected pleasurable experience that I would stay here again.

The room was bigger than expected with a large desk that I could do my art at comfortably!! The hotel was very clean and the staff was super friendly. The location felt safe.

The blu hotel was an awesome hotel experience. The property is clean and well maintained and nicely decorated. It smells clean all throughout the hotel too. The breakfast was very nice. Options included veggie omelets, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, cereal, fresh waffles, milk, yogurt, bagels and muffins and toast, juices and coffee drinks in many varieties. There was also fresh fruit. Everything was good. There was a pool but it was closed due to weather. Our king size suite was comfortable spacious. We really enjoyed our stay. Also, it's less than 15 minutes driving to Kings Island.

From the outside this hotel looks pretty run down and sketchy. The inside common areas are okay. The hotel smells fresh and it's clean but the condition of the common areas are a little beat up. However, I have literally stayed in wonderful hotels all over the world and the beds in this hotel are among the best I've ever slept on. Very very comfortable beds, the breakfast in the morning was very good. The breakfast area is set up very nicely and the food was good. Free parking, free breakfast, and definitely the best price around and a good staff so with all of those positives I can deal with the outside of the hotel looking pretty dumpy.

So glad I found the Blu Hotel. Everything about my stay was amazing. Clean big rooms, excellent breakfast, pool was nice and the staff were all so friendly and nice.

Was excited to stay here. Loved the look of the place and the set up. Only disappointment was the breakfast - low selection and no hot foods - guessing it was because not many guests but wish we would have known. Breakfast is big deal for us.

Overall clean and basic hotel. Breakfast coffee machine was not working properly and people were waiting for staff to get it working. It would be better if they did not rely on all electronic machines which are prone to breakdown or need constant maintenance. The ac needs filter change or cleaning as it smelled mildewy. They also need to catch up with 21st century and allow streaming on their tvs instead of forcing us to watch crappy cable shows full of commercials.

Desk clerk was friendly at check in and check out. But the room was not well cared for. Door locks were buggy and didn’t always work. Was told batteries needed to be changed, but couldn’t be done until next day. Bulb (one side) was out on fixture over mirror so it was dark when getting cleaned up. Sofa was crushed and dirty so wouldn’t sit on it. There was no iron, but there was an ironing board and the bracket for an iron. Lamp on nightstand was dirty / tacky and needs to be cleaned. Hot water was good but temperature was fluctuating during my shower. Towels seemed clean. Breakfast was decent. I would not stay again, but have stayed in worse.

The pics online definitely made it look better than real life.. while the room was large, it lacked good lighting and set up flow. The LED backlit mirror didn’t work and we asked for repair but it wasn’t fixed. It was dim and hard to get ready with that lighting. The room water was only hot - no cold in the bathroom. The pool was dirty and no clean areas to sit. The breakfast area did not have a/c and the food options were not great. Our room key didn’t work after being out late on our last evening which was very inconvenient since we parked in the back and couldn’t get in the rear access door. Guests were also loud in the lobby which echos through the building.. not the best stay for us.

We booked this hotel based on its Hotels.com rating and reviews, but unfortunately, our experience was very different. When we arrived, the front parking was full, so we went to the back, which was poorly lit and did not feel safe for two women. The entrance was unkempt, with very dirty-looking rugs. At check-in, the manager immediately charged my card for the full stay. Our room was disappointing from the start. The first light we turned on barely worked, and the room felt like a horror movie. When I asked for another room, the manager said they were completely booked, although two other guests were checked in after us. The bathroom was the biggest issue. There were small bugs on the floor, no hot water in the shower, rusted areas, and visible water damage on the walls and ceiling. The Heat/Air did not work correctly and some of the outlets did not work to charge our phones. The breakfast area was decent but stifling hot you could not sit in there to enjoy the free breakfast or the so/so coffee. We did not unpack and checked out the next morning, moving to another hotel. The hotel did refund the two nights we did not stay, but we were still charged $197 for the first night. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel. The condition of the property did not come close to matching the rating and reviews that led us to book it.
