Decent stay for a budget priced room. The pictures of the hotel do not give the whole picture but it served its purpose. Only one elevator works, my towels were stained, and no housekeeping ever came. It did serve as a place to shower and sleep.

You get what you pay for sums up my experience at the Baymont Hotel in Sharonville. The property seems worn and tired, and although it is a no-smoking hotel, the halls have a strong smokey odor. The towels are on the thin and small side, and there is no daily housekeeping unless you request it at the front desk. I would be OK with this if I was informed of the policy when I checked in, or if there was some notification in the room itself to let guests know of the policy. It seems the only place this appears is on the corner of the front counter, on the other end from where you check in. We discovered the no housekeeping policy after we returned to our room and found it as we left it. We did go to the front desk and received towels and washcloths (no hand towels were available even though we had them the day before), body wash, and shampoo. We were told to take replacement cups from the breakfast area and that the hotel doesn’t supply Kleenex. We were awakened at 1:15 am to a fire alarm. My wife and I evacuated to the parking lot. There was smoke on the first floor. A few minutes later the fire truck arrived. No employee was in the parking lot to communicate with them. They asked us if there was a fire, and we gave them our room key so they could enter the building. When I checked out this morning, the manager did not apologize for the alarm last night, nor did he ask how our stay was. Bad breakfast and OJ was brown! Highly suggest staying somewhere else.

Do not use this property. Upon arrival to the room, it was found the water to the bathroom sink was turned off. Unsure why, I turned it on and discovered the sink faucet was completely broken. We tried to call the Front Desk and found the room's phone was broken. The Front desk only had a downgraded room to switch us to. Upon entering that room, it was found the water to the bathroom sink was turned off also, I slowly turned it on and no water sprayed. But by the next morning, there was water on the counter that had flowed down onto the floor. There was no microwave. There was mold on the bathroom wall and the pillows were not clean. The final straw was the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night (1:30a). Upon attempting to exit the building like I should, the hotel staff was telling staff that it was okay and we could return to our rooms. Fire fighters had not yet arrived to confirm no further threat. But, the staff just instructed guests back to their rooms. It only took my wife and I about 20 minutes to pack up to immediately check out. When we pulled up to the front, there was no fire department. It was clear they had called off the fire department. When I went in, there was damage on the wall where the continental breakfast is served. I was so glad that I only lived 2 hours away as that was the most relieving drive home after such a debacle of a hotel experience. DO NOT STAY HERE until their management changes.
