The outside looks dated , however, the room was obviously updated with new floors and was very clean. I booked this room for my daughter , a student at Ohio Wesleyan. She had to be out of the dorm for Winter Break before I could get to her to bring her home. The owners were SO KIND to let my daughter have a early check in and when I called and explained our situation, he was so accommodating knowing I was concerned for her safety. My daughter said the place was owned and managed by a couple with small children and they were very nice to her. The location was just a mile from campus, there was a restaurant located next door as well as many options for delivery. The cost was extremely reasonable and I honestly will come back because of the kindness and location.

This is under new ownership/management. They are working hard to upgrade. I stayed 2 nights. There are a few people who are temporarily staying long term, but it’s quiet and friendly. Overall, the room was nice, with TV, refrigerator, no freezer, microwave, coffee pot, hairdryer, and safe. The space where the toilet sits is a little tight. (Probably built in the 50’s, but very clean and well kept.)

We came into Ohio a day earlier than planned as my son had to shoot an earlier event for Trap Nationals. We could not get into our VRBO a day earlier and most everywhere else that was somewhat close to the Cardinal Shooting Center was booked up or outrageously price inflated due to the event. The Travel Inn was still affordable so I booked. I was really taken aback by the look of the place when we pulled in. It looked really run down, a little sketchy, and was motel, not hotel (I clearly didn't pay attention when i booked). However, checkin was easy and pleasant. The room was very dated but clean and the bathroom/shower was nice enough. My bed left A LOT to be desired, but my son said his wasn't so bad. It wasn't far to go get dinner. The one gas station that's close makes it appear to be kind of a rough area and seeing the bailbondsman in the parking lot of the motel reinforced that, but we never actually felt unsafe. It was fine for what we needed (a bed and a shower) for one night, but would not have been good for a complete vacation stay or for little kids. I struggled with a rating because the people were nice and the room was affordable and clean, but I personally probably wouldn't stay there again.

Room was very clean and smelled great! Price was great compared to other hotels nearby. Cheapest hotel in Delaware if you have a pet with you. They are close to dining and shopping. Staff are always very helpful and will fulfill any requst you have about your room. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Fantastic place to stay, close to Cardinal shooting center. Very quiet and relaxing, room was meticulously clean. The only 2 negatives were the shower lacked pressure, but capable enough, and the climate is centrally controlled but was tolerable. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area. The farm animals were an added bonus.

Exceptional value. Immaculately clean. Great staff. This is one of those motels that was once on the main highway, US 23, and was bypassed when the interstate 71 was created parallel to it years ago. It's kind of off the beaten path but very close to the interstate. We went for the eclipse and were very pleased to find it going for a third of the cost of most other hotels. I was skeptical but was happily surprised to find that it was spotlessly clean and well maintained. It does seem that the walls were rather thin and we would be able to hear our neighbors if they were noisy, but fortunately they were quiet. And I've had this happen in some pretty expensive hotels! Also there were not as many outlets as in most modern motels so an extension cord might be handy for charging all the modern day phones, tablets, etc. All things being equal I would stay here again in a minute!

I made special plans to travel to Columbus for a special father's day celebration with my No day on the calendar is more important to me. Through no fault of my own, my rental car was dangerously defective. I learned this on the eve of the one day honoring Dad's everywhere. I couldn't travel to Columbus at all. This property in suburban Delaware would not talk to me. This hotel would not offer me any option EXCEPT to keep my money! My daughter and I celebrated 4 days later, but I am still devastated. Everyone that knows my daughter---now in her 30s---and me will advise ours is a very special relationship that began at birth and continued for many years as a Single Dad. I took care of my daughter and son for years by myself AND with the help of many, many people in Springfield and in Troy and other places where folks helped me in the greatest career a Man can only hope to appreciate. My son is far away in another state and I don't get to see him enough. Sorority sisters of my precious daughter are like my own daughters. They are just now learning about the disgusting mistreatment I didn't deserve by Travel Inn. My little girl deserved better. Hotels.com gets a slap here too for not stepping up. How about a free night in a luxurious hotel in Columbus for my daughter, her amazing boyfriend, Dylan, and I to enjoy together with some special family and friends soon? I will never stay in Delware, Ohio....don't want the reminder. Columbus is the Best!

The outside looks dated , however, the room was obviously updated with new floors and was very clean. I booked this room for my daughter , a student at Ohio Wesleyan. She had to be out of the dorm for Winter Break before I could get to her to bring her home. The owners were SO KIND to let my daughter have a early check in and when I called and explained our situation, he was so accommodating knowing I was concerned for her safety. My daughter said the place was owned and managed by a couple with small children and they were very nice to her. The location was just a mile from campus, there was a restaurant located next door as well as many options for delivery. The cost was extremely reasonable and I honestly will come back because of the kindness and location.

It's an older property but my room was very clean and included a minifridge and microwave (that looked unused). The check-in clerk was very friendly and confirmed that my special request through hotels.com (I'm allergic to feather bedding) was accommodated without me asking. I reserved 2 nights but wanted to leave early, and when hotels.com called the property they quickly okayed the early checkout and refunded me for one night. Quiet and conveniently close to Columbus. No complaints.

Room was very clean and smelled great! Price was great compared to other hotels nearby. Cheapest hotel in Delaware if you have a pet with you. They are close to dining and shopping. Staff are always very helpful and will fulfill any requst you have about your room. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Exceptional value. Immaculately clean. Great staff. This is one of those motels that was once on the main highway, US 23, and was bypassed when the interstate 71 was created parallel to it years ago. It's kind of off the beaten path but very close to the interstate. We went for the eclipse and were very pleased to find it going for a third of the cost of most other hotels. I was skeptical but was happily surprised to find that it was spotlessly clean and well maintained. It does seem that the walls were rather thin and we would be able to hear our neighbors if they were noisy, but fortunately they were quiet. And I've had this happen in some pretty expensive hotels! Also there were not as many outlets as in most modern motels so an extension cord might be handy for charging all the modern day phones, tablets, etc. All things being equal I would stay here again in a minute!

Fantastic place to stay, close to Cardinal shooting center. Very quiet and relaxing, room was meticulously clean. The only 2 negatives were the shower lacked pressure, but capable enough, and the climate is centrally controlled but was tolerable. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area. The farm animals were an added bonus.

We came into Ohio a day earlier than planned as my son had to shoot an earlier event for Trap Nationals. We could not get into our VRBO a day earlier and most everywhere else that was somewhat close to the Cardinal Shooting Center was booked up or outrageously price inflated due to the event. The Travel Inn was still affordable so I booked. I was really taken aback by the look of the place when we pulled in. It looked really run down, a little sketchy, and was motel, not hotel (I clearly didn't pay attention when i booked). However, checkin was easy and pleasant. The room was very dated but clean and the bathroom/shower was nice enough. My bed left A LOT to be desired, but my son said his wasn't so bad. It wasn't far to go get dinner. The one gas station that's close makes it appear to be kind of a rough area and seeing the bailbondsman in the parking lot of the motel reinforced that, but we never actually felt unsafe. It was fine for what we needed (a bed and a shower) for one night, but would not have been good for a complete vacation stay or for little kids. I struggled with a rating because the people were nice and the room was affordable and clean, but I personally probably wouldn't stay there again.

Not a big deal, but the description on your site indicated that there was a restaurant. There was one that is now closed very nearby, but definitely not part of the hotel. Staff was super nice!

Stayed in the triple bed with my two boys. It had a terrible odor of maybe 20 yr old cigarette smoke stuck in the walls and ceilings.(?) Beds were the worst hotel/ motel bed I've ever had to sleep on and the sheets felt like sandpaper. All 3 of us barely slept. T.V. did not work, but that wasn't a deal breaker for us. The mattress and sheets need to be updated. On a plus the young gentleman that was at the front desk was super friendly and professional. Maybe the other rooms aren't so bad, but I won't chance it again.

Just stayed to get a couple hours of sleep but very clean, easily accessible, parking is great, staff was lovely. The beds were a little firm but not bad to catch a quick sleep!
