We booked online. In the reception area we were greeted by pungent chemical odors. Not sure if this was cleaning or a hazmat situation. Desk clerk was clearly bored and disappointed that we interrupted. Smoke alarm beeping (low battery) in the hallway outside our room. Deep rust stains in the toilet. Bed short sheeted. Sub-par breakfast with minimal options. All in all a disappointing experience and poor reflection on the La Quinta brand.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Property was run down. Our room had a cigarette smell, the sink leaked all over the bathroom, and the ice machine next to our room was flooding the floor.

We had to have the room sprayed as there were roaches and spiders. We were unable to move to another room as the hotel as well as the other surrounding hotels were sold out for the weekend due to the Air Force Marathon. We bought extra bug spray but of course, we still had the bugs. I will never stay there again.

The room was surprisingly clean, and the air conditioning worked well. I was initially worried when I saw the outside of the building, as well as the cigarette butt on the lobby floor. My stay went better than I thought, thanks to the helpful staff and room condition. (I do recommend that they upgrade their pillows.)
