I thought there was a good chance there were bedbugs, electrical outlets had burn marks, mismatched blankets on the beds, both with burn marks. Ceramic tiles and bathroom or cracked and a serious hazard. Hair in the bathroom shower. Toilet wobbled if you sat on it. Door did not completely close in the lock latch was loose, loose screws. I felt unsafe with my 10-year-old son. . The only good feature was parking in front of the door, and the nice lady at the check in.

The front desk area smelled of Marijuana. The front desk person was never at the desk. The room smelled so bad and the beds were old and nasty parking lot when you pulled in has a hole that about swallows your car. It was so bad we turned around and left. We asked for a refund. But they would not give us one. He said we had to contact you to get one. Ive tried to contact you and keep getting a computer and getting cut off. Not a happy person at all.

Mattresses were so disgusting, flooring is very bad, it has a 1940's toilet 12" from the floor, was not impressed with the hotel management at all. It was a bad experience. The two cleaning staff, people did a good job, and were helpful. Parking lot is so small, don't be surprised if your vehicle gets hit...need a complete overhaul, or torn down😡💩☹️

Was very dirty when we got there. Broken glass all over the parking lot and in front of our door. My daughter got a piece of glass in her foot walking outside in sandals. Key cards didnt work. Had to keep going back and forth to main office getting them reset. We went to our event and got back at 11pm and thats when we could actually use the cards to get in. The breakfast was terrible. 1 muffin and a kids OJ is all they had. Beds and blankets had burn holes in a non smoking room. Our towels and wash clothes had stains on all of them. Shower and toilet was disgusting also. Its cheap place but have seen way nicer cheap places to stay. Would not recommend to anyone.

This location is the very definition of basic. Adequate room, adequate parking, etc. I have zero complaints though. The check in people were friendly and I greatly appreciate that! The wi-fi was poor but hey what would you expect at a low cost motel? The light switch at the entry door in the room didn't work so I had go find another one to illuminate the room and I told the front desk person about it when I checked out. To answer your next question is yes, if I’m going to be in the area again yes I would stay there again!

We were very unsatisfied with everything… and even took pictures our room it was disgusting. When we arrived after a long drive we were so tired, but unpacked. When i started evaluating our room i noticed some dead bugs in the light, cobwebs on the walls,corner the laminate flooring was coming apart, the fridge had so shelves on the door, the bathroom had black mold on the ceiling,water damage,mold on the shower curtain, and our toilet didnt work. when my husband called the front desk the clerk informed us that the head person was out for the day and take it up with them the next day so we did then we had issues with our keys and was informed it was us because we left keys near our phones ( no we didnt) then after trying the master key they stated oh it needs new batteries. On to house keeping they came in too and i showed them how nasty it was and stated they would clean up ( they didnt and never came back til the day we left) i asked for more towels since there were three of us and there was only one a new shower curtain because of the mold, toilet paper because there wasnt a spare to the opened one and we were there for 4 days as well as a few trash bags they said sure came back later nothing. We call the front desk and was basically told not our problem housekeeping is off at 3pm and we will have to wait til the next day.After my husband spoke with the head desk lady she said she would take of everything the only thing she did was drag us on and gave us a $20 discount.

Received a $45 refund, and staff swapped our fridge and microwave with the room next door on the second day after stating we could not switch rooms due to all rooms being booked. There were several bugs in our room during the duration of our stay and they seemed to multiple throughout the week. Killed a roach on the second day. The room had cracked walls and floors, pubic hair all over the ballroom floor and toilet, blood stains on the bed, the bedframe was broken, and room service ignored our do not disturb sign.

Room key card didn't work. Second key card finally opened room to find a bed pillow & sheets had been slept on. Next room had dirty towels and bloody bed sheet. No TV remote batteries. No pot for coffee maker. Room corners were dirty. Loud bang on door at 3am.

I would not believe any of the positive reviews of this motel. It was dirty. Do not stay here if you can help it. It's not just run down, it's not kept up, our room was gross. The container for shampoo was so filthy that I had to pick it up with a tissue to show the front desk. The employee (Amanda) said that they would have Expedia refund my money bc we did Not stay there. I will be contacting Expedia on Monday. The bathroom was also dirty. Looks like the person who was suppose to clean the room only made the bed and that was it. The floor was not clean either. Totally disgusting.

very rundown black mold on cualking around tub beds was hoorible sheets fit like a saddle on a sow. florr was dirty and gritty. gaps in floor tiles broken tiles in bathroom floor. microwave was dirty and had burnt spots. fridge missing holders in door to keep stuff from falling out. had 2 night reservations but could not stay second night left around 7pm

When arriving at the property, it seemed fine enough, but after a thorough inspection of the room we found dirt around the corners of the room, limescale on the metals of the bathroom, an absolutely filthy microwave, and more. Almost as if the room was barely cleaned. We then asked to be moved to another room, and there we found a bed bug. We quickly left after that experience for another hotel. I think they only had one cleaner on staff too! I can't believe how dirty the place was

I am currently disabled and unable to bear full weight; at check in I entered with crutches, therefore clearly needing of a room that is near the wheelchair ramp. The clerk, aware I was checking in alone, put me in a room in the very middle of the building. I had to figure out how to get myself and my stuff in the room. No help was offered. The room was very dirty, with filth on the walls and base board. The table, chairs and refrigerator were sticky.

Staff was incredibly friendly but hotel was very dirty and run down. When I arrived I went to Walmart to buy cleaning supplies for my bathroom. Tub bottom was literally black and there was urine all over the toilet seat. Bed was like sleeping on a rock. Close to the venue I was at but overall would never go back again.

No one was in the office when I arrived, I searched and called out for someone several times. Eventually I called through the app and got someone to help me check in. As for the room, it smelled like a smoke room with a little febreeze on top. Other than that it was a quick place for the night.

The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. They need to hire housekeepers that will clean better for them and I recommend bringing your own pillow and some cleaning supplies. We had seen some spots they missed cleaning common touch points and the table still had stuff on it from whoever stayed before and one of the bathrooms still had poop in it and stuff on the seat and one pillow had 3 different stains on it which is why I recommend bringing your own pillow. We stayed 2 different nights in 2 different rooms and definitely they could use new housekeepers.

There was never anyone at the front desk. After we first got there any waited for someone to show up to the desk we ended up leaving to get dinner and come back. When we returned there was still no one at the desk. Finally we were able to check in. The room was not very clean. There were bugs in the shower and it smelled terrible. Then when I went to check out there was no one at the desk so I just left my keys. I would not stay there again.

If I could give this hotel a 0 star I would. My friends and I booked this hotel months in advance for the convenience of its location and an event we were attending. Our flight landed early and I politely called the hotel to see if it was okay for us to leave our luggage while we finish some errands. The lady at the front desk (date: September 21,2023 Time: about 2pm) told me that the reservation did not exist, I then asked to speak to a manager but the woman there told me she was the manager and seemed unwilling to help. Since I booked with Expedia I contacted their customer service and a agent quickly contacted the hotel and requested to speak with a manager. On there system it clearly stated we had a room booked there. Sadly the agent from Expedia told us that the manager was not answering and was unable to be reached. (So the woman there lied about the manager being present). Expedia was quick to help this issue and managed to help us book another hotel. Now we are currently on our way to the Sherry Valley Hotel and the same woman from Americas Best Value hotel called back and told me that she now found our reservation and to provide her with a full card number since that was the issue all along. ( she stated that the card provided did not have enough numbers). I told her we are no longer staying at that hotel and she responded carelessly. This hotel needs to rehire immediately and retrain its employees on customer service. Would not recommend to anyone! Stay away.

The room smelled, the bedding was stained. The person who checked us in acted inconvenienced. At MIDNIGHT someone pounded on the door yelling at us to let him in to check the fire alarm. He only identified himself as "from the office", and threatened to call the fire marshal if we wouldn't let him in to check the alarm as someone had disabled their alarm and now he had to check them all. Yes, he sounded very angry about the situation. When he pounded the second time I made some phonecalls and verified this was real. We opened the door to multiple cops standing outside our door. We were forced to leave. The guy "from the office" refused to listen when we tried to explain that the aggression in his voice and the pounding had us afraid for our safety, I mean it's not like that hasn't been used before by criminals to gain entry to rob people. When I called the next day to get a refund because for the unused days I was told there would be no refund of anything as having us ejected from the property was their prerogative and that "I should understand". I don't understand that they can kick customers out and keep ALL the money without even listening to their side of the situation.

Great inexpensive place to stay. It’s about 10 miles from Legend Valley. Place is older has some battle scars from a king life of being a hotel. Not fancy but not a dump either. I will stay again

Staff was incredibly friendly but hotel was very dirty and run down. When I arrived I went to Walmart to buy cleaning supplies for my bathroom. Tub bottom was literally black and there was urine all over the toilet seat. Bed was like sleeping on a rock. Close to the venue I was at but overall would never go back again.

Though everything in the room looked dirty and dusty, much of it was just old (sanitizing wipes didn’t pick up any noticeable dirt). However the floors were dirty and covered in hairs especially in the corners. Maybe a broom was used but no mop to clean the floors. So wear shoes. We were happy with the generous freezer space in the mini refrigerator. The door didn’t seal well to the outside which meant several bugs flying around. The A/C was loud but worked well. Muffin and orange juice were available for breakfast (check for mold in the package before walking away). Affordable place which is what we needed but it probably should have been priced even lower due to the lack of upkeep. The room didn’t smell like smoke (thank goodness), but most of the staff did.

The front office staff was great! The room smelled like smoke, the floors were dirty, the mattresses were old and not good, the bed sheets literally had cigarette burns (I actually took the covers off and just turned up the heat in the room). Febreezed the room on multiple occasions. Unfortunately we were in town for a tournament and rooms went fast. Coffee wasn’t bad, pillows were ok, staff was excellent and friendly! Didn’t take pics because don’t want to think about sleeping there.

Was very dirty when we got there. Broken glass all over the parking lot and in front of our door. My daughter got a piece of glass in her foot walking outside in sandals. Key cards didnt work. Had to keep going back and forth to main office getting them reset. We went to our event and got back at 11pm and thats when we could actually use the cards to get in. The breakfast was terrible. 1 muffin and a kids OJ is all they had. Beds and blankets had burn holes in a non smoking room. Our towels and wash clothes had stains on all of them. Shower and toilet was disgusting also. Its cheap place but have seen way nicer cheap places to stay. Would not recommend to anyone.

I overlooked the bed bug comments and booked a reservation at America's Best Value Inn in Heath for 3 nights because of the location and price. I called before my trip to tell the hotel I would be arriving around midnight and ask about late check-in instructions. The staff member was very helpful. Unfortunately, not all the hotel's employees are as competent. On my way from Oregon to Ohio, I got stuck in Denver because of bad weather. I contacted the hotel to tell them I would likely not make it that night but would be there for nights two and three. I told the person that I was not asking for a refund for the first night but did not want them to cancel my reservation. What happened? Next morning, they cancelled my reservation. I received a partial refund through Hotels.com which tipped me off that my reservation had been cancelled. I called the hotel 10 minutes after they cancelled to find out there were no rooms available. Note to self: Contact Hotels.com, in addition to hotel, to give heads up about unavoidable no show.
