Property is under construction still!! No warning or alert given until we were woke on a Saturday and Sunday to hammers & drills going off. When we made complaint we were asked why we didn’t do anything, ask for a different room?? My question is why at this rate $$ we were put in that room in the first place? Tried this place in the past because of convenience & it was under construction then. 2nd try, will not try again

I stay here regularly, but this trip wasn't great. The pool was overrun by rowdy kids, running, jumping, screaming, inconsiderate horseplaying, and were left unsupervised often (in clear violation of the pool rules). That's a liability I didn't think the hotel would tolerate. it made for a very unpleasant swim. My key didn't work on exterior doors causing a smidge of inconvenience when loaded down with baggage. I may try a different hotel next time.

Not impressed. The hotel itself builds its star ratings by "adjusting" peoples comments. The hot tub had warm water..,no jets. The bed.... uncomfortable. The couch....hard as a rock. The shower.....continued to lose hot water the longer the water ran......then a 2nd shower was needed and Luke warm water awaited the next person. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. A 9 out of 10 rating on Hotels.com was due to the hotel itself building up the positives. We won't be back....here anyways. Other hotels a couple blocks away are WAY better. Not this one. Oh, and their so called closet sucks. What a joke....total after thought.

We stayed overnight here at the halfway point for a family trip and loved it so much we decided to book the same hotel on the way back. Great pool, hot tub, gym and a better than average Hampton breakfast. Staff were all so friendly and attentive and checkin was easy. 10/10 recommend

We were really disappointed in this hotel. We considered other hotels in downtown Toledo whichnwpuld have been more convenient for our stay but specifically chose here for their pool for our kids. The pool room was naueseatingly hot, as was the pool water. The pool was either stained or had build up because you could see yellowish discoloration. It was really gross and way too hot so we didn't even use it during our stay. The floor around the elevators as well as inside the elevators had debris and dried spills both days we were there. The dining area booths were filthy. There was spilled dried food on the seats, as well as a layer of crumbs and dust that had clearly been there for some time. There was also liquid spilled on the wall. Our room was mostly clean but there was a stain on the headboard, the tub had mold in the caulk, and there was hair and back flakes in the tub. This was the worst Hampton Inn I've ever been to and the quality was more like a lower end hotel chain or motel. Definitely wish we stayed somewhere else.

When I checked into my room I had no pillow cases, no bed sheets, refrigerator unplugged, trash like random Gatorade bottles and candy rappers, hair in the bathroom, all shampoo conditioner and lotion was already used, used towels and washclothes and no clean towels or washclothes, and out of tissues. When I contacted the front desk it took them 6 hours until I got towels and the sheets and shampoo but that was it. I was not happy and very pissed off. I would like some compensation for the room that I had and staff that I had to deal with this.

What a refreshing, clean scent throughout the property! The room as well as the entire floor was super clean and everyone was very friendly! We will definitely recommend your location to others, and staynwith y'all again when we are in town! I do have two suggestions: 1. More trash receptacles in the rooms, or make them larger, maybe? 2. Better snow removal and salt at all of the entrances. (There was some ice and it was a bit slick at one of the rear entrances).

Nice and clean with everything seemed like brand new (bathroom, bathtub). The bed was very comfortable. It is quite far away from highway 90 so I did not hear any noise. The heater kicked on once in a while and it is pretty loud but it did not affect my sleep. Too bad we left early without enjoying the free hot breakfast.

Great breakfast. Lovely staff. Clean. But the mattress was awful. Looong past its prime. Sagged in the middle. Like sleeping in a hole. Room 129. Avoid it if you have a bad back, LOL.

This was supposed to be acceptable, to myself and possibly others, on account of the 11:00AM checkout policy in accordance with which I was deemed to have departed. A checkout time is not a hard deadline and almost always, minor flexibility is extended, and expected. I was at most 30 minutes delayed, but the shutoff cost me the opportunity for a departing shower. An appeal for some consideration on the bill was beyond the authority of the indifferent clerk, and beyond the availability of the absent manager. It remains to be seen if any credit is bestowed post-departure. Checkout time alone is not a valid reason to begin work that affects guest services. I'd suggest that the hotel is obligated to notify guests in the building and arriving guests in some manner, be it an intercom announcement, an automated telephone notification, a sign in the lobby. Spontaneous and unannounced shutdowns are inconsiderate and uncalled for.

Reserved a 2 queen room for my wife, daughter, and I for a night while passing through town. Got checked in ok and went to the room to find a single king with no other sleeping option in the room. Called the front desk and was initially told they couldn’t do anything for me. So I went down to the desk and in the meantime, he had found us a room with a king and a sleeper sofa. Got into the room and clearly it had been given to somebody else as well as they kept trying to get into our room this went on for about 30 minutes. Overall, we were able to sleep, but my daughter hated the sleeper bed versus having a bed of her own.

All hot items on breakfast buffet were either tepid, or outright cold. Cold items only mediocre. Gentleman at check in was nice. Woman at check out not helpful - I am from the West Coast and unfamiliar with toll roads. Asked woman at checkout about whether I had to pay cash, could use a credit card, or if they photograph my license plate and send a bill for the tolls due. Her answer: “I don’t know”. That was it. She lives there, there was a toll road less than a mile from the hotel, yet she acted like she had never been on a freeway. Just “I don’t know” and done. Ridiculous. For anyone else new to toll roads, I had to pay immediately with credit card in Ohio, but driving across NY, they photograph your license and send you a bill.

I paid for 3 queen accessible rooms and called ahead to try and get connected rooms or close together. One of us was put in a King room and the front desk clerk told me with disdain she had no idea what I paid for since I used Expedia, as if Expedia was less than. I think they gave us broken down rooms, far from one another, because we used Expedia. I sat for over an hour not noticing my phone was on a broken usb and we had to troubleshoot that our elderly companion had dead batteries in her remote and then wait for them to find the batteries. I had to put up with pranksters using the hearing impaired bell for my room.

Conveniently located near highway, easy parking, quiet, clean. Comfortable beds, fridge and microwave in room; no hangers or iron. Coffee and hot water in lobby. Paid up front through Expedia, but when I arrived there was an additional incidental charge (refunded upon checkout, but unexpected). Stayed overnight less than 8 hours, so did not try out gym or pool. Nice stay!

Unfortunately, the breakfast was not enjoyable at all. The front desk offered me a plunger, saying I had to plunge my own toilet. The "hot" drink caraffes were barely luke warm. The bathroom sink had a "sewer smell". But the HOT TUB was awesome! FIrst one I've enjoyed since COVID shut them all down.

Very nice hotel. All staff were super friendly. Breakfast was great - plenty and varied. Rooms very clean - quiet at night (even with lots of children around!).

All hot items on breakfast buffet were either tepid, or outright cold. Cold items only mediocre. Gentleman at check in was nice. Woman at check out not helpful - I am from the West Coast and unfamiliar with toll roads. Asked woman at checkout about whether I had to pay cash, could use a credit card, or if they photograph my license plate and send a bill for the tolls due. Her answer: “I don’t know”. That was it. She lives there, there was a toll road less than a mile from the hotel, yet she acted like she had never been on a freeway. Just “I don’t know” and done. Ridiculous. Very good room -- comfortable bed, friendly staff at reception. The only strike against it was the breakfast was not very good -- eggs seemed fake (from powder perhaps?) -- they and the bacon didn't taste very good, and there weren't other things to eat that weren't gluten-y other than not ripe bananas.

We stayed overnight here at the halfway point for a family trip and loved it so much we decided to book the same hotel on the way back. Great pool, hot tub, gym and a better than average Hampton breakfast. Staff were all so friendly and attentive and checkin was easy. 10/10 recommend

The room was big. But the bed was very uncomfortable. Breakfast was bad eggs were cold, French toast was stale. The breakfast needs more choices. The pool was cold. In the middle of the night on July 16, 2024 smoke alarms went off because someone had burned popcorn. we won't be back again

We have stayed at this hotel probably ten times in the last 15 years. It has always been our favorite in the Maumee/Toledo area. Right off of the Turnpike. Very close to the zoo and the Mudhens games. Kroger (with Starbucks) and Meijer are extremely close, as well as various restaurants. The hotel has been redone since the last time we were there. It looks good. Smells good. Our room was comfortable. The breakfast was good. I think they have the best decaf "hotel coffee" of any chain, and I appreciate the variety of tea available. The staff is always great. What I don't like is the barn door to the bathrooms. The door doesn't close all of the way. There were also wood shavings under the door. There is no way to lock the door. The biggest problem I had, and this isn't the only chain I have noticed this with, is the queen bed is not a queen. It is full-size. We ordered the two-queen room, as we had our teenage son in the same room. It is just barely bigger than two laid out pillows across. My son has a full-size bed at home, and it is the same size. If you say it's a queen, it needs to be a queen. I had a queen size at home for many years and know what size that is. This is not a deal breaker, but it annoys me. Having said that, the beds are very comfortable and clean. The pool and hot tub were clean and both working. This is a good hotel to bring a family to.

Check in was quick and easy. The room was clean and a good size. Nice indoor pool. Outdoor pool was not open even though it was summer. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of both hot and cold choices. Coffee was just okay. The only downside to the room was the barn style door on the bathroom. It was difficult to open and close as well as not providing as much privacy as a regular door. We would stay here again if in the area.
