I liked staying at the Red Roof because competing hotels there are way too expensive. Even though Red Roof is a cheap hotel, there are some bare minimums that were missing. The place has several rooms, but only 1 ice machine and it was broken. The television did not work. The floor was absolutely filthy (my white socks were black within minutes). The parking lot smelled like weed throughout the evening. The room was in disrepair, and the tub faucet runs all night. Again, not expecting a high end experience, but the bare minimums were missing.

The room was okay, flooring showed wear and tear, sink was leaking some and microwave plug needed an adapter to plug in. Room was fairly clean, bed was comfortable, ample parking for our 40' expediter truck. We were double charged for the room, but was promptly refunded.

Cheap with no bed bugs are the only positives. No house keeping, you have to find someone to get more towels and toilet paper. Room smelled like mildew and had a layer of dust over everything. Sheets and towels had existing stains.

There were roaches,spiders and flies in both mine and my friends room. The bed had dirt and grass in-between the sheets that were also stained. We checked out immediately and when we tried to get our money back they refused us and hotels.com.

The rooms smelled of cigarettes and pot. One room had all the bath fixtures on the ground. After checking in my room was given to someone else who bardged in on us and then we had to get new keys. Rooms took 1 hour after check in time to be ready.

Overall, our one night stay was good. The mini fridges in both rooms were frozen over when we got there, but they were still working. In one room, the microwave plate was either taken out or stolen. Other than that, our check-in and check out went smooth.

The person at the front desk was nice and helpful. I was given a key and there were people in my room. I was given another room that was acceptable. 3 other people in front of me about to get rooms that were reserved were turned away because they were double booked. I was just happy that I was able to get a room - even though I booked one.

First of all, I never leave poor reviews, but for this place I'll make an exception. I'll try to make this short but informative. I booked the hotel on Sunday. My sister, niece, and I were just looking for an inexpensive hotel close to Columbus before Sonic Temple where we were staying elsewhere for the festival. After driving for 5 hours we arrived around midnight and were ready to crash. The check-in process took around half an hour and the clerk had to make a multiple calls to someone for some reason. Finally he took us to our room. With the lights off it didn't look too bad but once we brought our things in and turned them on we gasped. There were multiple stains on the beds, it was dusty and musky, had a weird smell, and didn't really look like it was cleaned at all. There were a bunch of people outside watching us as well. It just didn't seem safe. If it were myself I might have just grinned and bared it but with my family, no way. We then packed our things up and told the clerk we couldn't stay there. He said he would process a full refund and i should receive it in 24-48 hours. Only reason I gave service a 2 is because he seemed to try and he said it was his second day. You would have thought with a big weekend they would have been on their A game but they extremely dropped the ball. After calling around for sometime we eventually found another hotel an hour away... would highly not recommend!

Asked for an early check in, was told $50 fee to do so. Then was told it is a corporate policy, followed up with corporate, it is not, it is up to the individual property. Then was told we could check in an hour early for no fee, when arrived , would not let us . Stayed three nights, never emptied our trash can at all. Did not clean up or replace wash cloths or towels . Had trouble with the card reader on the door. Property is poorly maintained. It is in a nice area, quiet, felt safe.

Management was completely unprofessional! We asked for more towels, and there was a debate as though there was a towel shortage!! Also one of the bulbs needed to be changed and the manager seemed like it was a bother for her to come and attend to it. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!

I checked in and checked out of this hotel, the same day, due to noise, safety concerns. I have contacted this property several times, in regards to a refund, been over a week, no response. The customer service here is terrible, would not recommend to anyone.

When we arrived there was 3 policemen on the property. We asked the front desk and was told one of the customers was unruly. Once that person was removed. The police stayed another 3 hours. The room was dirty both the sink and shower constantly leaked water could not shut off. This has been ongoing because there was bad water stains. It seems this hotel is be used for criminal activity. We considered leaving but was so tired from traveling just wanted to sleep. Believe we should be refunded and also Orbitz should remove this from your list of motels.

Not the cleanest. Not the safest either. We had issues with other people staying playing loud music until 2 am, screaming and partying, harassing us, urinating right outside out window. Called me names for making a noise complaint and lurked outside our room until we had to call the police. Waiting on a refund.

I liked staying at the Red Roof because competing hotels there are way too expensive. Even though Red Roof is a cheap hotel, there are some bare minimums that were missing. The place has several rooms, but only 1 ice machine and it was broken. The television did not work. The floor was absolutely filthy (my white socks were black within minutes). The parking lot smelled like weed throughout the evening. The room was in disrepair, and the tub faucet runs all night. Again, not expecting a high end experience, but the bare minimums were missing.

The place was in need of updating. I chose it for price, and you get what you pay for. The beds were comfortable. We expected some sort of breakfast but there was only one pot of coffee. Yes, I would stay there again, but don't expect too much.

First off, as I am checking in the hotel worker is on the phone with another guest and states that the housekeeper has left for the night and the guest would have to come down to the lobby to get the plunger. That was not a reassuring statement. Secondly, all of the “extra” power sources did not work and had to unplug all of the lamps in order to charge our devices. The only light we had was from the bathroom. When we did plug in our devices to charge, there was a spark in the outlets. The toilet was literally the size of a toddler toilet. Spending $100 a night to stay here was not worth it at all.

Had to switch rooms 3x as the first 2 rooms had a connecting door and people/tv very loud. Bathroom in all 3 rooms dirty, disgusting. Bathroom door couldn’t close as too big for the frame and even if we could close there was no door handle. Stains on white bed cover, tub filthy and sides of tub exterior all black mold and drain area rusted and showing dry cement. Words can’t describe. I do have pictures. One outlet cover had no plate and hairdryer was so dirty I wouldn’t use. Smoke detector was covered with Saran Wrap! Positive, room with beds was ok and counter outside of bathroom was fine. (Other bathroom counters we saw were cracked and filled with what looked like cement)

I booked a one night stay for May 29th, but upon check in I was informed that they had incorrect booking information and they tried to charge me a 2nd time after showing proof that the money had been taken from my account. I asked for the booking to be cancelled and the attendant agreed to mark the booking as cancelled on their end and that I should contact Hotels.com to finalize the refund. After believing that my booking was cancelled, I booked at a completely different hotel for the night because I didn’t want charged twice at this location for a single room. The next day when in communication with Hotels.com I was informed that the hotel property was at first refusing to communicate with them and disconnected their phone for a period of time and then finally when they could get ahold of someone they said they were going to refuse to process the refund.
