The pool was cool! But the whirlpool was broken

I was disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t operable while we were there. That was one of the reasons I booked at this hotel. Other than that, our stay was great

Hottub not working once again

The staff was very nice and the pool is a nice amenity to have for the kids.

Well, let’s start the first night. We got there, which was Friday. We were told when we went to the bistro that we cannot have anything fried or any kind of a side dish. The only thing that we could have is a sandwich because that’s all they had then the next night we went to the hot tub and when we were in the hot tub, we noticed a couple bugs we got out in the hot tub stopped, and we looked at it, and the whole hot tub was full of bugs. The same night about eight people decided they were going to go sit on the patio until 130 in the morning until everybody started complaining, and they finally made them go in they were also smoking and drinking on the patio, which wasn’t supposed to be permitted. The refrigerator turns off every two hours so you have to re-put it back on every two hours I mean it should stay on for at least 12 hours, but it doesn’t and there’s absolutely no clock in the room then as I was in the room I noticed it was a piece of candy between the bed and the nightstand. I looked up at the ceiling and there’s this whole big brown section of nothing but dust bunnies and stains on the ceiling. There’s no Kleenex in the room. And there was some kind of brown unidentified stuff on the curtains. The other thing I don’t understand is you give us a balcony with the patio door but there’s no furniture. For the price of this hotel I was so extremely disappointed. I would never recommend it to anybody and I would never go back. And the couch was ripped

Just mediocre. Dated facility. Soft beds. Pillow flat as a pancake. Clunky elevator. Cold water didn't work for two days and had to press to get it fixed. Staff in cafe was nice and coffee was excellent.

Room was clean and beds were great. Staff friendly and accommodating. Pool and hot tub were great. Cons...mini fridge didnt keep things very cold and ice was hard to come by with 2 of the ice makers not working but front desk was more then happy to get ice from the restaurant

The hot tub had bugs in it. The ceiling of our room had dust bunnies terribly. There was candy next to the bed. The curtains had brown stuff on them. The couch was ripped. No free coffee (which is weird). They allowed other guests to be very loud on the patio right under our room.

The cleanliness was not up to Marriott standards I have experienced in the past from other Marriott hotels. The elevator carpets were torn and dirty. The elevators themselves needed some repair and maintenance - were jerky and noisy. My bathroom shower had some mold in the corners. The heating/cooling unit would shut off during the night and the room would be too warm. In addition, there was no switch to keep the fan blowing to keep circulation going in the room,. The outside of the windows had a thick layer of dirt/dirty film on them and appeared to have not been washed in many months. None of this is the Marriott quality I have enjoyed in past stays with Marriot.

It took 20 minutes to check in. The lobby staff couldn't find my reservation but the manager found it immediately. The A/C unit was very noisy. There was mold on the shower curtain. No regular coffee packs in the room. The smoke detector had a flash strobe light.

Bathroom had not been cleaned. There were toiletries in the shower from a previous guest and hair on the shower walls. Also no soap to wash your hands with at the bathroom sink. Was also charged for the room when I arrived. Booked through Expedia and then had to swipe my card twice at the hotel for some reason and was charged for the room all over again. Had to call the hotel directly and Expedia for a refund that will take “7-10 days”. Overall it wasn’t a great experience.

The beds were great! The bathroom shower had mold and wasn’t very clean.

I enjoyed the hot tub and pool for my autistic son. However, the bathroom was dirty. It still had hair and dirt in the tub and the toilet hadn’t been flushed let alone cleaned.

The staff was amazing. The room was adequate. However, the mattress was lumpy to the point where there was a divot in the mattress itself, and the tub was less than ideally clean (stains that may have been difficult to get out). The rest of the room was fine and I cannot praise the staff enough.

There was a spot of blood on comforter. I did not notice until second day. It was not mine.

Great staff reasonable price good location. Just wish the bed was a little bit better but loved the dark curtains blackout but don't sleep in. He might miss your flight.

The hotel was dated and when I told them I booked with expedia they gave me one of the rooms that hadnt been updated.

Staff were nice and helpful. Terrible lighting in the room. Poor design/ layout of the bathroom- no countertops or sink in the bathroom area with the toilet and shower. The only sink was outside of the bathroom. Extremely noisy other guests- but that certainly varies night to night.

Our neighbor had multiple kids beating and running around til 1-2 am and front desk didn’t do any to accommodate us

The staff here was really nice, though they were woefully understaffed — sometimes quite long lines at the front. The ice machines were broken on several floors — having to go to the lobby to ask for ice was a bother. The TV in the room was quite small (made reading captions a challenge while viewing from bed).

TV Didn't work and internet would not connect. They did move us to another room so the TV worked but internet never connected. On my next trip I'll probably try to find another place to stay.

The bathroom floor was sticky. The couch cushion stuffing was coming out. And there was no Internet available.

Ok stay train runs all night right behind it. Toilet was broke and tub was clogged just taking a shower. Holly was awseome staff was great in all.

Our first room 335 had broken vertical blinds so we could not shut them. We asked to move to another room, the lady named Holly, was very nice and tried to accommodate us. We were moved to a room on the first floor, room 102, which did not have two queen beds as we first requested but a king bed which was fine. This room had drapes that actually opened and closed but the lighting was very dark. The bulb above the dresser near the TV was burned out and well as the bulb above the counter with the coffee pot.

This was by far my worst experience. My colleague and I were on a business trip and had booked two rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott Cleveland Westlake, securing them with a credit card, To our surprise, when we arrived, we were informed that the hotel had oversold and no rooms were available for us. It’s unacceptable that a major hotel chain like Marriott would allow this to happen, how can they sell rooms that were already booked and confirmed with a credit card? If this is how they treat their customers, I will never stay with Marriott again. Avoid this chain at all costs.

We checked in and although they were friendly they iffered no assistance at all. I told thme we were staying here because of medical trip for my husband and we qere exhausted, i asked where the luggage racks were and the response "Probably in a hallway somewhere ". Now there were 2 people "working" the front desk. One of them shouldve offered to go get us one. Nope they both acted like I didnt matter THEN when i came walking in clearly struggling with many bags both looked away and avoided even making eye contact ! No offer of help no nothing. Why even be in customer service if you are this obvious and inconsiderate!

Holly, who checked me in, was excellent

They were unable to find my reservation at check in for about 10 minutes even after showing my email confirmation. Ordered a cocktail from their menu and they didn’t have the ingredients to make it. No complimentary breakfast, expensive breakfast choices only available until 9:30AM.

The hostess that checked us in was courteous and professional. She was pleasant and informative related to the amenities. 5/5 stars.

The receptionists were very pleasant. The location was great for my visit and parking was convenient.

Worked well with where I had work and it was convenient to get on and off the highway

Very easy to get to. Front desk staff were incredibly friendly. Room was clean & comfortable. We could easily walk to many available restaurants. Great stay overall!

Area was good, clean, there wasn’t much lighting outside especially in the area where there was parking available, those areas was more darker. Inside hotel everything was good about it.

Good location quite and lots to do without driving to far

Everything was very good, clean and friendly. The Bistro was lacking and very costly for the offering, when it was open. There were several restaurants you could walk to so food was not a issue. This might have something to do why there was not much available in the hotel.

Most hotels have coffee in lobby, but this one has a Starbucks. So I had to pay $5 for a cup of coffee. I will not stay in a Courtyard by Marriott again. Marriott lost me as a customer for the cost of a cup of coffee. Congratulate whatever executive responsible for this for their good business decision, travellers have very many hotel choices.

It is impossible to get a cup of coffee if it's not breakfast time due to some weird rules from Starbucks.

The hotel is nice and conveniently located on I90. It is clean , and the rooms at red spacious. However, the breakfast food is excessively expensive.

Really think for the price free breakfast would be a nice gesture. Only having Starbucks as an option isn't good for families. Its too expensive and the food options are limited.

Breakfast and coffee are expensive.
