SureStay Plus by Best Western Edmond

The room was missing a desk. The hotel is is multi story and has no elevator.

The room had a TV but no connection. I asked about the TV and was basically told it was the cable. My assumption is that the hotel did not pay for the service. The pool was not heated and had no hot tub.

Budget friendly for sure. No elevator. Could be cleaned better and smell would be better. Beds were very good. Our room was spacious! Pool was also good. Could use some updating and elevator.

My family and I drove to this hotel from Sidney Nebraska for a wedding. They were super understanding when it came in to coming in late as I have children. However the service was less than friendly and made me feel unwelcome. They offered breakfast from 6-9 but when we went out twice they were completely out of food. On the first morning only 2 out of the 6 of us were able to eat and they said the breakfast tasted weird like it was old. I’m not sure what happened or why it was this way. We were told we could use the locking side door for entrance closer to our room but the door never locked. As someone who works for a best western I had higher expectations for a best western property.

The room is fine, service is okay, breakfast is average, the pool is terrible. We pick this hotel since they have an indoor pool but the water is so dirty and slimy, the lounge chairs look like they will fall apart soon, no lighting, no towels, and the floor is dirty.

Pool is closed do to maintenance. Breakfast options were just toast, eggs and sausage patties. No waffles, peanut butter, milk etc. The rate was good, but I probably would stay somewhere else next time.

I had just stayed at the BW in Arlington the previous weekend and I stay at the BW in Corpus Christi every year. The BW in CC is very nice and the BW in Arlington is the nicest BW I've stayed at. Before leaving for this BW, I told my son that BW has been very good. Then I stayed at this BW. it was very unattractive and dirty inside. There is a pool in a large dark room and the water didn't look like I would want to swim in it. There was nothing to hang on the doorknob and there was no literature in the room to tell you anything about the hotel or anything else. The bathroom supplies were also less than previous Best Westerns. When I asked for the password for the wifi, I was told that a password wasn't needed, which is very unusual. The only drinks or snacks available are in vending machines in a hallway near the stairs. The only options for breakfast were fried eggs, sausage, apples, cereal, and danish (in a plastic wrapper), which was disappointing, considering the breakfast options at other Best Westerns. I skipped breakfast the morning I left. This BW could use a remodel and new management.

I picked the lowest price in the area and the hotel reflected that. the side door lock was busted so anyone would could enter the hotel. the grounds around the hotel were littered.

I just needed a inexpensive place for one night for a tournament we were attending in the area. I knew the cost i was paying not expect fancy. But I worked in a hotel for almost 10 years so I do expect a certain level cleanliness. Now with that being said. The room wasnt filthy but i wouldnt call it clean. There was a stain on the top blanket that we werent sure what it was but its a stain and it happens. There was LOTS of Long black hair on every single linen/towel in the room. One of our beds had hair on the top cover. Very visible and easily could have been wiped or pulled off when making the bed. But its hair we pulled it off and threw it away. Again not a huge deal. The sink nor the tub drained. not something that house keeping would really notice and could get missed easily...not a big deal. Some brown sticky substance in the window sill that for my sanity i will say is coffee because i stuck my hand in it. Gross but again nOt a bIg dEaL. The pool..... so when we got in to the pool area there were no towels. Hotel didnt seem busy enough to be out of towels but idk what kind if day they had before we got there So i just kindly asked for a few. As i got in the water i noticed a THICK film of oil could have been a heavy lotion or body oil so i tried to ignore. Also notice i lack of chlorine smell. Also so loud w/ the echo i couldnt think. Fast forward to today. My daughter has pink eye and the dr said its from a pool with bacteria.Hotel said its fine now.....

The staff are super friendly. The rooms are very clean. The hallways could stand to be vacuumed, but our rooms have always been clean.

Upon opening the front door to the hotel all you can smell is weed. The room had black mold growing in the upper corner in the bathroom. The shower stall had visible filth in it. The room otherwise was standard for price paid. Staff was friendly.

This was the dirtiest hotel I have stayed in a long time. The bathroom was dirty with dried snot on shower walls and tub dingy. We left and when came back our card keys were de-programmed. Walls had damaged, floors were dirty. We stayed in a non-smoking room but the smoke odor was super strong. In fact the whole hotel smelled bad. The doors to the get in the hotel were broke and anyone could enter the hotel.

The rooms had old food in the sofa bed, qtips behind the night stand, mold in the bathroom, no exhaust fans in the bathrooms, the breakfast is only sausage and soggy eggs.

The room stunk of cigarette smoke. The linens on the beds were wet and there was a huge stain on the comforter of one of the beds. We did not stay. We walked in and walked back to our car. Our heads hurt just from the smell

room floor was mopped with dirty water and was sticky mirrors were wiped with dirty towel sink had a leak that had an ice bucket catching water lobby door was very nasty lobby area had no a/c no detail to keeping a clean hotel the nastiest best western I have seen

This property needs to be renovated. There was a musty, moldy smell to the whole building, not just the room. There was food on the floor inside the doorway to the stairs and the stairway smelled like vomit. In the room, under the mattress there were still food crumbs and some crumpled up napkins from the previous guests. It was uncomfortable.

We ended up not staying here and canceling our reservation. After checking in and going to our room, I checked the room for cleanliness. There were used tissues left in the bed, dead cockroaches on the floor, used toothflossers on the floor. The room had quite a bit of hair from pets and it just felt to me, not clean. The hotel is pretty old and definitely needed some updating. The lock on one of the outside doors looked like it had been broken into. I saw a few other indicators that this was not the place for me to stay. I did not have a good feeling about staying there. We loaded up our stuff and I spoke with the front desk staff and they were accomodating to us wanting to cancel.

The room was not well cleaned and some parts had animal fur on them.

The bedside lamp didn’t work because there was no power from the outlet. A staff member came and brought another lamp, but that didn’t solve the problem since the outlet itself had no electricity. The issue was never fixed during our stay. Very disappointing service.

Door lock was broken and walls are paper thin. Neighboring room tennants noisy and smoking even though entire hotel is supposed to be non smoking. Overall everything youd expect from a cheap hotel.

The room is good for rate but could be improved a lot with amenities. Phone didn't work. Had to go to front desk twice to ask for remote control for tv -took at least 20 minutes. Then no tv guide in room and could only get a few channels and could not get major channels such as CBS. Refrigerator not cold. Only one coffee cup for in room coffee maker. Did have nice large towels and comfortable enough bed.

It was conveniently located for my needs. Hotel room was spacious and comfortable but it was an older hotel. Our AC had a major leak that I had to buy container to catch the water.

We loved the big room had a sitting area but the only bad thing to say is tub had a slow drain but other than that great

Our first room was still being cleaned when we arrived. They immediately gave us another after we asked but it was inundated with the smell of bleach. The two kids that checked us in weren't very friendly but the gentleman who helped us later was very friendly and helpful. I really like how open and spacious the room was. The heater worked great. The hot water was ample and it was very quiet on the first floor. The pool was nice but the breakfast needed additional items.

The rooms were bigger than expected. The only thing I didn’t like was the hotel was an older hotel that used to allow smoking and even though it was a non smoking hotel you could still smell old smoke.

Rooms did not have all amenities and or they did not work. AC in room 218 was sub par especially compared to room 216.

I have stayed in this hotel several times over the past 3 years, and I have slowly seen the deterioration over my past stays. My next visit to Edmond I will not be staying here. The bathroom was dirty, hair everywhere. The mattress was VERY uncomfortable, when I turned on the the air condition/heater it sounded like a freight train, very loud as long as it was on.

The staff were very efficient and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. Only have cereal and sometimes a slice of toast. My husband really enjoyed the cooked breakfast. The indoor swimming was very private and exceptionally clean.

The hotel is your average hotel, but the staff were absolutely wonderful! We had many complications with our trip and they were so kind and helpful! I would stay here again!

I've stayed here before. Staff are very professional, kind, and helpful. I'm returning next month. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. The pool is great!

Great place for the pricing, the manager is a very tall older man and hes cares about the customers, very great respectful team he leads as well!! I will always choose to stay here.

Had problems with my key every time I left the room my key got deactivated, my watch came up missing with no help from the staff ,we called about my watch and they hung up the phone, i will never stay there again .

We stayed Sun night and Fri night, reserved accessible room. BOTH times, we received key card, opened up room - it had NOT been cleaned. Had to switch BOTH times to a non-accessible room. Mgr didn’t seem to care

I like staying here when I stop in Edmond. It's my third time. I like the indoor pool for the kids and the continental breakfast. The building is quiet, clean, and safe. Plenty of room for a family of 4 staying the night. It's close to restaurants and shopping. Very polite management and staff. Would come back again.

This property is very reasonably priced and perfect proximity to our son's place.

Some things were in disrepair, but nothing too serious. I appreciate having lower cost lodging options available. The breakfast was better than expected.

Things were quite old in many cases and in need of repair…leaky faucets.old sealant/grout that makes things look dirty and unkept, stained bathtub, microwave that smelled like a fire and had burn marks inside. The breakfast was rather pathetic and very sparse.

Acceptable is about the best I can label this hotel as. The whole place simply feels run down and minimal effort put into the comfort of those who stay there. Breakfast was about the minimum you could expect... powdered eggs and sausage patties for protein, NO WATER and Apple juice that only dispensed part of the time. My refrigerator froze half the items I put into it, which included a number of custom pop bottles which popped, causing a mess! On top of that the fridge seal looked gross like it was filled with mold. Extra furniture that cluttered the room and obviously wasn't meant for the room, and TV service that was so spotty it wasn't worth trying half the time. If you're looking for a place to just lay down and don't really care, then this will work. If you want someplace that will try to take care of you and puts at least a bit of effort into your stay, look elsewhere.

All was well until a meager breakfast which when I arrived at 0830 hours, all tbe scrambled eggs were gone, only a few greasy sausage patties & white bread remaining. O breakfast for me.
