Super 8 by Wyndham Elk City

No breakfast-note on the front desk saying they’re not serving breakfast at this time, when I made the reservation it said breakfast included. Ice machine out of order, Vending machine out of order. Room was comfortable and clean, staff was polite.

No towels in room, floor dirty, ice machine broken, no breakfast of any kind

Sheets and towels were stains and the light in the bathroom made a terrible noise every time you turned it on. Next morning found multiple bites on my husband skin. bedbug bites. No breakfast as advertised and the pool was closed. Worst hotel stay we have ever had.

Room--light fixture out, towel rack gone, key card worked only sporadically. Facility--outside place looked abandoned. Pool covered and looked abandoned as well. No breakfast. Sure, it was cheap but wow was this property ill-maintained.

Very inexpensive stay and room was comfortable. Pool was closed and Ice Machine broken. Very old hotel.

Desk clerk is cheerful and helpful. The room was already WELL air conditioned, a need when it was 104 degrees outside. Unfortunately, the pool is closed, and due to a water problem, no breakfast in the morning. (We actually rarely eat breakfast at motels.)

Hotel is old, it is clean for what it is. No pool or breakfast. Its a place to sleep and thats it.

No amenities listed were available…no breakfast…no pool…no working ice machine…no working vending machine…dang just say it, don’t list something that is not happening, I was looking for included breakfast and apparently still listed under included amenities but not been a thing for quite some time!!! I would not have booked if I had known breakfast was not included! Just be honest!!!

There were a lot of things broken at the motel. Ice machine, vending machine and they didn't serve breakfast like they were supposed to do.

Disappointing. Extremely dirty and uncomfortable. Bedding had circular staining like someone had left a coffe sitting on the bed. Towels felt tattered and were no longer white. If I was to travel in this area again I would avoid this hotel at all costs and spend the extra $10 for a cleaner place.

Had bed bugs and won't refund.

Dirty everything. I took photos but not seeing how to post pics. Toilet dirty,faucet in tub looked like it was about to fall off, window opened but felt like it was about to fall out,stains on outside covers on bed,nasty carpet....smelled like dog pee in corner of room,not enough plugs,towels dingy with stains. Pics in ad are deceiving. Will never stay again.Plus walking on top floor we was worried about structure...floor soft walking down hall and places in room.

We had 2 rooms and stayed for 1 night, hotel did not serve breakfast as website says they had breakfast, old rooms, bed mattresses uncomfortable, direct T.V kept freezing so it was not really watchable.

Well I booked a non smoking king size bed and she first said she didn’t have any then said I have one on the first floor we went to our room and it smelled like smoke on the website says breakfast but they don’t very misleading the room needs the ac fixed it has a gap in the wall and the sun shines through other than that it was ok I guess

You get what you pay for. I wanted a cheap place and it definitely was that. There were 2 pros. The a/c worked great, and it is quiet at the hotel. The cons. The wifi only has 1 bar and you have to go back to the desk to get the code. The ice machine was broken. I was hoping the breakfast would be there so I could grab some stuff to snack on while I was traveling through - but the note on the desk said they no longer provide anything other than coffee. The bedspread and the mattress pads were both stained. It sufficed for a nights sleep. Oh, and the map directions take you to a town 15 miles away. If you need directions, google search it separately and use them.

It says breakfast online but a sign is taped to the counter, and has been there for a while, said no breakfast. A non smoking room I was first given had CLEARLY been smoked in. No mention about the wireless, which was spotty, and the password is written on slips of paper. Room was clean for the most part aside from the fact that the soup on the bathroom sink was open and wet and there was water on the counter so that was overlooked. Took this deal on Wxpedia to save a few bucks but wish I had have paid a bit more to get a nicer place

The staff at this Super 8 was the nicest I’ve met in our 2 week road trip. The only complaint is that whoever designed this place never needed to plug things in, there was only one outlet in the room. The bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet.

It suited our need and for a price we could afford at the time. We got what we paid for. The place is a bit dated and could use a good face lift. The beds were decent. The room was clean just a bit run down. The a/c was extremely loud. If in the same situation I would stay here again, we were only there long enough to catch about 6 hours of sleep and get down the road

Hotel reservation didn't link well with Hotels.com, according to the desk clerk. She was helpful, though. My king sized room, already paid for, was not available. I arrived at at 6:30pm local time. Listed breakfast was not available. This is a dated facility in need of serious renovation. The room was clean and the double bed was comfortable, however.

I gave the service three stars because of the workers at this check-in desk. They tried to do their best. With an owner that’s nonexistent and that allows their kin that works for them to run their business into the ground and not do repairs but keep renting rooms that smell like sewage and toilets in handicap rooms that rock when you sit on them is pretty sad. When you go to the desk and try and explain what’s going on in your room and CJ tells you go away when you ask for ice and they tell you, the ice machine has been broke for months because the people that stay there put ice in their ice chest, which doesn’t make sense. I feel an excuse They make ice ice, trays and baguette and give you 5 to 6 pieces of ice in each bag and when you ask for more, they act like you’re asking for too much. The air conditioner vents were filthy. I had to put a dryer sheet inside the air conditioner vent just to make the room smell good and buy a little house standalone room refresher to make the room smell good as well as spray room refresher. They said there was no smoke in the hotel however, when I went to leave, I could smell pot being smoked in the hallway and when I asked about it, Lisa nonchalantly said I don’t know. I was there for a week and a half the week that I was in the sewage smelling room. My room never got cleaned. However, I asked for it to be cleaned twice. I only got it vacuumed once I had to beg for towels, which were very dingy old and flimsy and needed to be replaced.

The staff was absolutely wonderful!! You get what you pay for with as old as everything is but It was only $40 something for the night and we were safe, comfortable, and no matter how many times the door locked me out-the front desk lady always let me back in 😂😂 what a sweetie. Thankyou so much!!

Hotel says they did not get payment from Expedia and we showed receipt that it was paid. Had to pay again with card in order to stay. Expedia needs to get payment to hotels ASAP.

The staff was very helpful and easy to get to from the exit.

When in search of a restaurant near this hotel it is very easy to accidently get back onto interstate 40. This has disastrous consequences. Signage in this area is very poor. The hotel itself is deteriorating, as is the area around it, with many closed facilities. Not a fault of the management, but it is clear that it will soon be abandoned.

Real easy to go down old 66 into Elk City. No breakfast but they had coffee. We stayed there two nights, reasonable rate for this hotel.

The hotel was conveniently located off a major hwy, and close to the convention center. Nice room for 50.00 night. We only sleep there. No breakfast, but really didnt expect one for rate. We did order a non smoking room, but if you took a deep breath you could smell old smoke. King size bed nice, slept well.

Traveling cross country; need a night to sleep, great price and great location. Can’t beat that.

Easy Access off the Highway with extra large parking lot

We specifically chose this location due to it stating there would be breakfast included and that was not the case. When we got up in the morning, there was a sign saying no breakfast. Additionally the no smoking room smelled strongly of smoke and there was a lot of noise late at night from other visitors which was frustrating trying to fall asleep. Major issue though was the breakfast as that was our primary reason for coming here.
