Room was clean, bed comfortable, staff courteous and efficient, good hot breakfast

When I called to make reservation I asked if there was a working hot tub and I was told yes…..but there was NOT one!!! Really was not happy. Whomever answers the phone should be told the difference between a hot tub and a pool!!!

There were four of us staying in two rooms for four nights. The parking, breakfast and room were adequate but we noted some concerning things. The first night, two of us had to ask for a move from the first floor to the second floor because we could smell canabis coming through the passthrough door on the first floor. It was also odd that the floor lamp was unplugged and we had to crawl on the floor to plug it in before we decided to request a different room. The other pair in our group were already stationed on the second floor. We had to ask for toilet paper, hand towels and washcloths and coffee because housekeeping did not leave replacements for used items. When I went down to ask for items one night about 10:30 pm, a teenage girl was manning the desk which seemed unsafe. We had left ear plugs on the nightstand in the morning and housekeeping removed them. That should never happen. I'm glad I had extras with me. On the last night of our four night stay, there was one man lingering in the hallway, seated on the floor outside a room, reading and highlighting a book. That night our party consisted of three people so we didn't feel safe leaving one person in a room by herself. Two of us marched down to her room and moved her into our room. In doing so we had to pass by two bearded men lingering in the hall and one bearded man poking his head out the door of his room. He said, "Oh!" as we passed by. The other two men said, "Hi." I made no comment. Uncomfortable!

Our room was not sound proof at all. We were next to the mechanical room and could hear the compressor going off and on all night. I could hear the most annoying alarm from a room close to us. It was not a very restful night. I would probably stay here again.

It was a good trip. The only complaint is the bed was old and uncomfortable.
