Residence Inn by Marriott Oklahoma City Downtown/Bricktown

The condition of our room was in need of lots of repair and has been neglected for a long time but it seemed as though this was the expectation of what they provided guests at rates that should not have been charged. I will never pay to stay there again in the future. I have stayed in many Residence Inns and this was way below the standard.

This is an old hotel desperately in need of upgrades. The carpet was frayed and pulled up in the rooms, the furniture was stained and the cushions on the couch were torn. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned well. The front desk staff, specifically Yolanda was lacking in professionalism. Tge remaining front desk staff was pleasant. The breakfast staff was fabulous!!

Breakfast was good and fresh. Fairly standard but well maintained. The suite was large and almost details were aimed at our comfort. One thing was outstanding was the shower and pressure as well as ample towel racks, something not often found in hotels. Overall, the place was good, clean and comfortable. Two suggestions, clean the windows and do a little updating.
