Astoria Riverwalk Inn

This hotel had a great location and the view was wonderful, but it feels like a struggling business that has lost the desire/ability to take care of itself. The room was not really clean, and it felt like a long term issue. Mirrors had not been wiped, some mold in the trash can, and the room had that feel where you don’t want to walk around barefoot. Had a question two days before our arrival and sent an email that was never answered. Called with no answer and no way to leave a message. Called again the day before and the phone just rang again during common business hours. The room was fine, but basic cleaning and being responsive are basic expectations. Subjective, but the staff seemed to not care, which for me is always a management issue. Price for location and view was good.

Love the views and breakfast options. The central staircase was out of order, causing quite the detour from my room. There was hair left in the shower drain, which is an avoidable oversight. For the value and location, highly recommend, but know this is an older hotel with some bumps and blemishes.

Room was, clean, we had a suite and it had 1.5 bathrooms which was a nice surprise. Staff were friendly, wi-fi was strong and the breakfast buffet was nice.

Great place to stay for any occasion! Rooms are clean staff friendly and very peaceful. Great location also!

The staff was very nice. The issue is with the facility itself. I reserved two suites, one for us and one for friends we were traveling with. Our room was huge, good view and nice. Our friends had the same type room but the carpet was stained, the furniture was beatup and dirty. The worst was that they had thousands of ants in their bathroom. There were rooms in the hotel that had tape surrounding them? I was very disappointed and it looked like at one time this may have been a very nice place..
