The parking lot was a little small but the landscaping was nice. you are charged $12.00 per night to park there, but we didn't notice any added security, or covered parking.

It was a nice getaway. The breakfast is fantastic with a great selection. I enjoyed staying here and would do so again. Two complaints: The front desk person, an older lady at night was reluctant to bring a blanket to the room when I was not provided one when I was at the front desk in person earlier in the evening. They told me one was in the room already, and it was not. I do not mind the mistake from housekeeping, but she seemed a bit lazy and did not want to do her job to bring me one which I found ridiculous considering she is in hospitality, and I paid near $1000 to stay there. The lack of willingness to provide service was off and odd. The additional complaint is that they wanted to charge a large parking fee for every night of stay, for such a large parking lot in the suburbs, and no lack of spaces. I parked on the street which was only a 15 second difference, safe and free.

Electricity was out one AM - staff didn't seem to care or try to make it up to guests. They were scrambling but not trying to help appease people. Room service is only every other day but said we could ask. I asked for additional service 2 times and one of the times I asked them to just come up and get dirty towels and garbage while we were gone all day. I tidied it up & just needed stuff picked up for space. Service never came - I got back around dinner time & called to report. Staff could not be bothered & didn't seem to care at all! They were like "Sorry. They have now left. You can bring it down with cart. I can't leave the desk. " Room wasn't that clean in general & kind of stuffy. It was NOT a good deal for the money & nothing was near for amenities. Electricity was out 4-5 hours. I was told I couldn't use work out room despite saying I didn't need the equipment. Also, there is no pool despite when you look up hotel on google, there is a pic that makes it appear there is one. We asked about that & mentioned the picture. Staff didn't seem to care one iota about that either - told us to "call around fitness centers that were near" without providing us a list. We did call but cost was $58 PER PERSON for it. Horrible, horrible experience. I asked about any running trails near & was told "No idea. I don't run." I was able to find a loop that I could do. I have stayed at the same Homewood Suites in Hot Springs & had a wonderful exp - THIS WAS A NIGHTMARE.

Did you know that Homewood Suites would subtly tack a $12 per day parking fee onto the room charge? I was not made aware of that and will not accept it. That is a deceptive practice and very wrong.

The first room was pretty bad the Fridge stuck halfway out In The living space and the sink by had no cover on the bottom. They allowed us to change rooms but the second room had a really bad burnt smell in the room. We bought a plugin and room spray made it thru the week. I would try not staying on the first floor. They have an amazing middle court yard with a fire pit and bbq.

First room had a defective toilet that staff could not fix. We were moved to another room, but it was marginal. Road noise and guests above us were loud. Shower was not clean, found stuff on the walls and the shower head had pink mold on it. Building security seemed good

The room was clean but the common areas were very smelly and not so clean. The breakfast was bad and if you go after8 am, you could barely find something to eat. The laundry was very dirty and we could not use it although due to a long trip we needed to.

Stayed here for an extended weekend in Portland with granddaughters. Room was clean and comfortable. Surrounding area was mostly quiet, some noise from freeway but not overwhelming. Hotel conveniently located to dining options. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good variety of breakfast items. Would recommend and would stay again.

We had a decent stay and the size of the room was more than adequate, however, it is obvious the building is older and the renovation is older. There is a lot of wear on materials and our bathroom had what looked like pink mold in the wallpaper… but we were assured after an inspection that it was “red hair dye” that had seeped into the wall. Either way, that should be rectified when you’re paying these kinds of prices to stay in a hotel. The breakfast was mediocre, especially the eggs… which tasted like they were powdered as opposed to cooked fresh. I don’t have a problem spending money to stay at nice hotels, but I expect to get what I pay for and I don’t feel that was the case here. Hopefully the management works to improve this facility thanks in part to this feedback.

The people were nice. The room was disappointing. I have mold alerfies and the room had a mold smell. The windows were facing walls, hardly any natural light. We only stayed one night, but i tried to stay out of the room for a good part of it. Sleeping was difficult. The facility itself seemed nice.

Our room was beautiful; however, it was next to the elevator...noisy door everytime opening and closing. The condenser outside bedroom window was very loud/noisy when automatically turning on. Bathroom fan was so loud and noisy...difficult to use bathroom during night when other person sleeping.

They were like "Sorry. They have now left. You can bring it down with cart. I can't leave the desk. " Room wasn't that clean in general & kind of stuffy. It was NOT a good deal for the money & nothing was near for amenities. Electricity was out 4-5 hours. I was told I couldn't use work out room despite saying I didn't need the equipment. Also, there is no pool despite when you look up hotel on google, there is a pic that makes it appear there is one. We asked about that & mentioned the picture. Staff didn't seem to care one iota about that either - told us to "call around fitness centers that were near" without providing us a list. We did call but cost was $58 PER PERSON for it. Horrible, horrible experience. I asked about any running trails near & was told "No idea. I don't run." I was able to find a loop that I could do. I have stayed at the same Homewood Suites in Hot Springs & had a wonderful exp - THIS WAS A NIGHTMARE.

Our stay was brief, but it was a very nice room and clean. We weren't aware of the high pet fee per night ($75) before we booked our stay. The bed was comfortable and separate living/kitchen area was very. nice. Selena at the front desk was very helpful. Ask for room not on highway side for a more quiet experience.

Stayed here for an extended weekend in Portland with granddaughters. Room was clean and comfortable. Surrounding area was mostly quiet, some noise from freeway but not overwhelming. Hotel conveniently located to dining options. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good variety of breakfast items. Would recommend and would stay again.

Electricity was out one AM - staff didn't seem to care or try to make it up to guests. They were scrambling but not trying to help appease people. Room service is only every other day but said we could ask. I tidied it up & just needed stuff picked up for space. Service never came - I got back around dinner time & called to report. Staff could not be bothered & didn't seem to care at all! It was great with the exception of food availability on Saturday…Went down for breakfast 40 minutes before end of serving and many things were gone or empty. Felt really bad for those people who came down after us but before 10am end time.

This hotel was by far our favorite as a family of 4 with two teen boys. We were in a 2 bedroom suite and it was awesome. It was clean and spacious. The breakfast was one of the best we've ever had and it changed every morning. The service from the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful

We had a decent stay and the size of the room was more than adequate, however, it is obvious the building is older and the renovation is older. There is a lot of wear on materials and our bathroom had what looked like pink mold in the wallpaper… but we were assured after an inspection that it was “red hair dye” that had seeped into the wall. Either way, that should be rectified when you’re paying these kinds of prices to stay in a hotel. The breakfast was mediocre, especially the eggs… which tasted like they were powdered as opposed to cooked fresh. I don’t have a problem spending money to stay at nice hotels, but I expect to get what I pay for and I don’t feel that was the case here. Hopefully the management works to improve this facility thanks in part to this feedback.

We thought that the breakfast was a little above average! Things were clean and well stocked! And I think the only thing that was a tiny bit less than expected was a little bitty store of things where you could buy things if you forgot or needed something besides that everything was really truly great! I think that the price was certainly fair and I recommend it!

It’s a nice place for short and long term stay. Our room has kitchen. Breakfast for me is okay but they have good coffee and fruits available throughout the day. This place is very neat and clean. I will stay here again.

Place & rooms were modern & clean. Loved the courtyard bbq & 24/7 coffee & tea. Front desk very helpful. Four stars for that. But if you show up at 8:45am for breakfast (was told it was served until 9am) and items are gone at the breakfast bar, then you are out of luck. The kitchen staff will not refill for the last 15 minutes no matter how many guests are standing there with empty plates before 9 asking nicely but disappointed and hungry. No more eggs, bagels, toast, pastries too bad :-( They close up too early, so it is a lie that breakfast is served until 9 M-F. It clearly is not. The other reason I took off 1 star was that the same morning, we went back to our room only to find maid service busy cleaning the room in spite of the “PRIVACY PLEASE” SIGN STILL HANGING ON THE DOOR KNOB. I was confused and shocked by this and even took a picture. What does the sign really mean? No Privacy? My husband didn’t care and had to use the bathroom anyway and the guy just kept cleaning with us in the room and the Privacy Please sign still there. Am glad I’d not left out my electronics before going to breakfast because I almost did, thinking the Privacy Please sign would protect them. Ha. I’m now wiser if not more jaded. Please train your staff better, and be honest about breakfast times. Thank you. Would I stay again? Maybe, not sure.
