Everything was wonderful. Room was clean. Breakfast was simple but filling. And the indoor pool was a real hit with our little kiddo. Thanks to the very kind and hospitable staff.

Staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and free breakfast. However, the website for the property says: "You can also enjoy free access to the nearby Xcel Fitness gym during your stay." The woman at the front desk had no idea what I was talking about and said maybe it was the Redmond Super 8. The TV had no signal, the pool was closed, the refrigerator couldn't be heated, and there wasn't much to choose from at breakfast, which wasn't right for me.

The bed spread had crusty stuff on it. The bed was lumpy and the pillows were very lumpy as well. The worst of it though was the small refrigerator smelled like there had been rotted meat in it. Absolutely gross and disgusting. The card keys did not work very well on the back outside door or the room itself. We had to get new keys 2 times. There were homeless people living in their cars in the parking lot. The pool and hot tub were not working as they were under maintenance. The check in person said they would tried to call us but my number was listed incorrectly in their computer. I find that hard to believe as they texted me with a pre-check in and also check-out texts. The pictures on the internet and advertisements made this place look very much like a nice place. But overall very disappointed and I will not ever stay there again.

We stayed in a “pet friendly” room, we arrived at midnight after a 6 hour trip only to discover that the room had an overpowering smell of animal urine. The front desk gentleman was very kind however he explained the hotel was completely sold out. Needless to say I slept with a blanket over my face to try and filter out the smell. Even with spraying perfume and opening the window and turning up the air conditioner the smell was overwhelming. The hotel needs to either shampoo the carpet or remove it and replace it with tile or laminate. This was completely unsanitary and if it had not been the middle of the night we would have asked for a refund and slept in our car.

Bend is an expensive town. If you want a nice hotel you will need to pay for it. Our room smelled like dog pee so bad we left to go buy room spray. Breakfast was cereal and a pancake machine. Front desk was nice and friendly. Neighborhood wasn’t great but also didn’t look unsafe. The smell was the worst part. Carpet isn’t the best choice for allowing pets.

The room smelled very overwhelmingly of dog. We were in a pet friendly room but the odor was so strong it almost made it hard to breathe, even with a fan going all night. I suspect it was the carpet in the room. The other areas of the hotel also seemed worn down and not maintained. Staff was very friendly though and the surfaces of the room was clean as were the linens.

We first checked into a room for pets. Not sure why, I did not have a pet. It smelled like pee really bad. We walked 2 ft into the room and walked back out. They gave us an upstairs room. They did not care that it smelled like pee. They just said it’s a pets room. Other room smelled musty. Couldn’t use air conditioner. Made it worse. Filters or something needed to be changed. We had to leave window open to help clear out the musty stale air smell. Overall experience was not very good. Will not stay there again.

I prechecked in the night before yet it took 30 minutes to finally get my keys. I had to wait while the only staff member ranted on the phone with another employee about a non-emergent issue then hear her complain about it to me after the call concluded. I didn’t feel safe seeing guest names and room numbers written on a clipboard for anyone to access. The pool was great but everything else was terrible. Breakfast was limited processed foods. Our room had gritty, sticky carpet and the toilet overflowed. Bed was hard, dirty linens. Walls were thin, very noisy. We all slept terribly. We’ll never return.

We checked in and left to our concert. When we came back to our room we noticed how filthy it was. There was hair in our beds, the smell in the room was horrendous. The property needs a major renovation. At least replace chairs that are peeling apart and hair dryers that are out dated/don’t have power or very hot air. The blankets were thin and towels thread-bare. Carpets really stained. Staff wasn’t very friendly. No one checking on breakfast items regularly. Both juices were out and we had to ask front desk to help. Not a lot of options for breakfast as others have reviewed. Nice they did provide shampoo and conditioner. Water was hot in the shower. Tv did work. Fridge and microwave in room but they made noise every time you walked by like they weren’t on level ground. I’m not expecting the Ritz but stayed at the La Quinta for $30 less in Bend a week ago and it was way better (they were all booked up for my return trip). I wouldn’t stay here again if I could help it but it got us through the night.

Room next to me was in and out every 3 minutes between the hours of 10 pm and 3 am both nights I was there. Doesn't take a genius to figure out what that means. According to the 'ol Fitbit, got a total of five hours of sleep over two nights. Pay the money and go somewhere else.

This place wasn't bad. It was quiet. Fairly clean. The room had an odd smell. Little musty but not terrible. The only complaint is the bed. It was the worst sleep I have ever gotten. I think the floor may have been softer. If you like extra firm then it will be great. Otherwise its a long night of restlessness.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The wait to check in was ridiculous, I have never had to wait that long just to check in. We pre checked in like it suggested but come to find out that system was down and the staff working was unprofessional. Seemed like they were short handed but it all could have been handled differently.

The gentleman at the front desk was very polite and attentive. There was a billing error and he fixed it with no problems. Walking distance to Fred Meyer. Plenty of parking. Will stay there again.

Apparently they just got new computer software and the staff had not been adequatly trained on it because the person helping me k ew nothing and struggled and took much longer than it should. Several people backed up in lobby waiting also.

Amazing, friendly staff. Went above and beyond helping me with booking issues. Highly recommend staying here. Clean rooms, decent little breakfast, wheelchair access to bottom floor through back side of building.

It was okay. Because I asked to check in a little early I was put on the second floor far from the office. I felt isolated and saw and heard out my window several homeless people and some doing drugs. I always made sure all my locks were locked. The bed was very comfortable, the room very clean so no complaints there.

This hotel exceeded my expectations which, to be fair, were not sky high, but I give credit where it's due. The property is much improved under Wyndham management. The rooms are older but refurbished and functional. The breakfast was solid. Front desk was friendly. About what I would expect at this price point but sadly, many hotels these days badly disappoint.

My sister and I stayed here for three days while we attended the big quilt show in nearby Sisters. We really couldn't have asked for more in a last-minute booking during a very crowded weekend. The bathroom, room, and pool area were immaculate. We had a refrigerator and a microwave. They had a good breakfast with several options. The pool and hot tub weren't open when we checked in, but became available a couple of days later, and we really enjoyed using them. The only criticism I have is that the carpet and rooms in general could use some updating, as they really are showing some wear. We felt lucky to have gotten a room here for the quilt show.

Hotel was ok, lady at checking was lovely. Clean pool area. Breakfast was nonexistent, there was no bread and when asked if there was more the answer was no. This wasn’t at the end of breakfast but half way through. Coffee was empty and/or cold. Unless you want cereal I wouldn’t bother getting up

This is an older Super 8. Exterior and landscaping is nice. The staff is friendly and attentive. However, the hall way down to my room and the room itself suffered from a heavy smell of dog/mustiness. The carpets are old and should be changed out. It could just be that they have not got to it yet. I always judge my stays by whether I would stay there again. In this case, despite the convenient location, I would look elsewhere.

The pool was so cold it was not useful, even kids were complaining how cold it was. There was mold and peeling paint in the bathroom and the coat rack was so high up the wall , it was not even reachable . It was musty smelling and damp feeling in the hallway. It is a cheap place to stay in a pinch but not a cozy warm environment.
