Sleep Inn Bend Crossroads Plaza

First let me say the staff was excellent. Very nice and tried their best to accommodate. But the hotel. 1st was the elevator was not in working order. Did not recieve any notification of this issue as I would have booked somewhere else. 2. Tried to get a downstairs room. None available 3. The room: while decent the shower was smaller than the one in my rv. No tub either. Went downstairs to see of they had a room with a bath tub. They did not. In fact they informed me they only have 3 rooms in the entire hotel with bath tubs. 4. Soundproofing..what sound proofing. I was literally awakened by someones cell phone alarm. I knew what it was as I have the same sound for my alarm. After being awakened at 6 am I couldn't go back to sleep due to the noise from the hallway and adjoining room. I had stayed here due ro the proximity to my doctors as I was spending 2 nights for medical reasons. I was looking forward to long soaking baths, sleeping in and just relaxing. Unfortunately, that did not happen. If it wasn't for the noise issue and the no bath tubs I would have rated higher as the rooms are nice amd staff is excellent. The elevator being out of order would have been a huge issue if my mother (80 with mobility issues. Stairs are not the easiest for her) and joined me like planned. Fortunately, she canceled at the last minute There are are some decent restaurants and even fast foods within walking distances.

We cannot say enough great things about Danielle and the entire Sleep Inn crew in Bend, OR! We originally booked just two nights before and after our PCT hike, but when bad weather forced us off the trail, this team truly saved our trip. Danielle, Nikita, and Michael went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. Danielle in particular runs the best Sleep Inn we've ever stayed at -- everything was clean, comfortable, and the hospitality was second to none. What was supposed to be a quick two-night stay turned into four nights, and we were so grateful to be in such good hands. If you're looking for a place in Bend where the staff treats you like family, this is it. Absolutely outstanding service. Exceptionally clean, the pool & hot tub were amazing. Just fabulous overall.

Staff was often standing outside and around the corner from the front door, forcing guests to wait for someone to help them at the front desk. Pool was covered and unusable but hot tub was open and seemed well taken care of. Found a couple of long black hair in bedding which makes you question the cleanliness. Complimentary breakfast was decent and well stocked. One staff member worked hard to keep everything clean in that area.

The pool was amazing , large and the perfect temperature!

This hotel is superb. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. The heated outside pool and pool area is amazing . We had a lovely stay. Thank you.

Lots of places to eat (including a Starbucks almost right next to the property - easy to walk to within a few minutes), a Safeway across side street, a McDonalds almost behind the Safeway, a pub across parking lot (friendly place). Nice outdoor covered hot tub, outdoor pool also very clean and nice. Friendly staff. Breakfast had egg pucks and sausage, English muffins, waffles, mini muffins, and some fruit (nothing spectacular but okay - however, if you want more, there are options like Starbucks super close). A great stay for a couple of nights at a very good value. Within about a 7 min drive to the heart of Bend (Old Mill Pond, etc). Oh, and Pilot Butte (a great scenic lookout) is only a 5 min drive away (you can drive to top in about another 5 min or get a workout in very nice trails up it - your choice). And highly recommend the High Desert Museum about 20 min drive south. In other words, even though this hotel isn’t in downtown Bend, it’s still in a great location with easy access to everything if you have a car.

Elevator wasn't working and vending machine for water was not working either. The lady at the front desk was nice enough to give us a few small bottles of water to get us through the night.

Elevator broken. We looked to be sure facility had an elevator due to difficulty carrying luggage up stairs. We also travel with a 12v/120 car cooler. The front desk person let us plug it in behind their desk. We couldn’t carry it upstairs. So our cold food did not spoil. Very accommodating.

This was a nice little place to stay. It wasn't right downtown, but it was only a short drive to many places and there are several different places to eat all walkable. The pool was perfect, and the temperature was just right. I would definitely stay here again.

Really liked this place. Very nice and quiet. It had an amazing pool and hottub area with beautiful sitting spaces and flower pots everywhere, it was very relaxing and comfortable and breakfast was great

For being a non-smoking our room reeked of smoke! And then we had the fire alarm go off at 4:45 in the morning on Sunday! Hottub was also broken

Room cleanliness was an issue. The first room we were given was terrible. I showed the front desk person some photos of the carpet and unkept areas and asked for a room change. The new room we received was a little better but not by much.

Motel was very clean and quiet. We also enjoyed the hardy breakfast.

Property was really clean. Staff was exceptionally nice. Woman who works at front desk was very friendly as well as the pool maintenance guy. We did see what appeared to be mold in the bathroom. Also, the bathroom door was broken and didnt close all the way. Beds were comfortable and the pillows were amazing... something you dont really expect at a hotel. Pool is heated which was a huge plus for my 8 year old son. Continental breakfast had good choices. We would definitely stay here again.

Non-smoking room smelled badly of smoke. Little outdated, but it's a cheap hotel.

Enjoyed our stay. Gave a 4 star instead 5 because on one occasion I asked the desk person a simple question about housekeeping that required a simple answer and got an attitude about it for asking. Loved the pool. Worthy Brewing right across the street. Also the breakfast lady was very good.

Amazingly clean room. Quiet property within steps of places to eat. Nice lady at the front desk for check in.

The room we were initially provided smelled horribly like cigarette smoke. The staff quickly gave us another room due to this inconvenience. Overall, we were content with our stay. Aside from this small inconvenience our stay was pleasant. The property was quiet and breakfast was fine. The only downside to our room was that the AC unit was very loud so I had to turn it off in order to sleep. With the summer weather the room got stuffy. I would leave the AC running very cool next time around so that the room remained somewhat cool without the need of the AC at night.

(Hotels really need to get back to using more than 3 feathers wrapped in a sheet.) Everything was clean and quiet and nicely arranged. The breakfast was standard hotel fare -nothing special. Dinner at Worthy Brewing across the street was great.

My room and the hallway smelled stale and smoky at first, but that impression dissipated after a few minutes. (I did notice it each time I entered the room, though. I believe it was a nonsmoking room, so no idea what was up with that.) The hallway carpet needed a good cleaning, I think. However, the room was quite clean, with an excellent bed and lots of pillows. It was hot outside, but the A/C worked well. The bathroom was tiny but well designed. The sheets were a limp polyester blend—booo!—and towels a little skimpy. There was a fridge and a microwave; both worked, as did the free wifi. The free breakfast was about what you’d expect, with an abundance of sugar and saturated fats, but I’ve had worse. There was fresh fruit and hard-boiled eggs, at least. The biggest plus was the very nice pool area! I was sorry to have left my suit at home. With a little remodeling this would be a place I’d keep coming back to, but it was a perfectly fine place to stay for a few days. Parking is great, and it’s easy to walk from there to several good restaurants and stores.

I highly recommend staying at this Sleep Inn. We stayed 4 nights and it could not have been better. We felt very welcomed from the start by the staff. They asked upon check-in what floor (1st or second) we would prefer, our room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and everything was just as advertised. Breakfast was solid and the hot tub was magical! Also, the hot water in the room had better temperature than any other place I have stayed. Lastly, it’s close to what became a favorite hike to date; Pilot Butte! We went twice!-Fantastic workout and views!

We didn’t like having the bathroom split with a sink in the room and a very small shower. We will probably look to stay at another hotel next time. Staff was helpful but the breakfast was always cold.

The night staff was awesome! The room was pretty clean. The room had a comfortable bed but very worn sheets. The shower somehow sprayed a lot of water out onto the floor every time and could use repair. Overthe stay was pleasant.

The stay was fine, clean, the staff was very friendly, the areas were very clean, the room was clean, what I would recommend is updating the furniture, the bed creaked so bad every time you moved, very old, and another thing I didn't like was the limited options they have for breakfast, otherwise we were happy with our stay.

Poor front desk staff.

Staff that “greeted” me was not friendly, all business, and seemed preoccupied.

Welcomed and serviced well. One front desk person apparently did not know how to set the room cards because it cancelled on us twice but a different person another night corrected it. Also had a very difficult time reaching them by phone and through expedia. No responses, answering machine, or call back. Not sure why. When we arrived I verified the phone number and told the staff that no one answered all day and they thought it was odd because the phone hadn't rang once during their shift. It was just to verify checking in stuff so it wasn't needed the rest of the time but it was annoying. Overall a good stay.

After getting in very late the staff was very helpful and took great care of us.

Check in was fast and friendly. We where given extra towels and advice for a wonderful dinner. The room was clean and smelled fresh. Breakfast was standard but the attendant keeped everything clean and was even making fresh waffles for people. Check out was quick and safe travels offered. Overall a great experience

Good Location

Clean and comfortable. It's back off the main road so it's quiet yet, the hotel is across the street from restaurants and grocery stores. Perfect location.

Location great for access to the hospital.

Perfect location for Pilot Butte

The Bend Sleep Inn was a good value. It is located just far enough off major thouroughfares to be quiet, but still convenient to just about anything in Bend. One of Bend's best brew pubs (with good food) is within several minutes walk. The property seems new-ish and well kept. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful.

Check in & out was quick and easy, breakfast is nice however I had better at a different Sleep Inn in Redmond Oregon - I was hoping breakfast would be the same.

The property is in a great location next to plenty of places to eat, and it's nice and clean. The only thing we were very disappointed in was that all the breakfast food was gone by 8:30 am, even though it's supposed to be served until 9:00am. So we paid for a full breakfast but didn't get any! They claimed they ran out of food.

Breakfast wasn’t that great, unfortunately the waffle machine was down. The eggs/sausage was questionable. But I still was happy we could make some toast and cereal.
