A lovely location yet not quite as good as the photos suggested.

The view is amazing for sure which is good because the accommodation itself is quite dated. It is the most money I’ve ever paid for accommodation in Australia (and we travel a fair bit) so I was surprised that there was just no home touches for guests, it was more like a motel. Walking into the bathroom as the first space in the house was surreal. The pool in the complex was freezing and although it looked inviting and many other travellers besides us tried it out it was just too cold to enjoy. I think if you advertise a facility the least you can do is maintain it so guests can use it. Also, wifi is advertised but works only at the kitchen sink. God help you if you need to get any work done. The views of the bay were stunning and the sunrises were beautiful but I’d prefer to get more bang for my buck next time I’m in the area.

Fabulous location with a view to match. However the apartment is in need of a little TLC, screen doors require new netting & handles & furniture a bit tired and worn. Otherwise very well appointed with everything you need and awesome outlook of the ocean.
