Sunnyside Inn and Suites

Old building with decent decoration. Not a very good mattress, but a fridge and microwave and everything clean and in order. Good parking and access to rooms. Good for the cost.

No in room coffee. For older handicap adults, it would be very nice. I didn't see an elevator. Again this is just one person's opinion.

Stayed last weekend at this property front desk person seems to be also the breakfast person ran out of bagels Saturday morning and Sunday morning there were no more plates and Saturday morning there was a tray but had nothing on it the front desk lady was rude she literally slammed the cabinet door while getting the plates and literally slammed it on the counter then when the gentleman with glasses half bald went to ask hee for bagels her words were the same she told me “you guys completely wiped us out”!!!! This was Sunday morning 8-.30 am he also was gonna complain but other guests were also upset the owner manager should check the camera and Friday I complained about a lady she smoked 3x on the steps by the pool while kids were swimming pool bottom had literally a whole handful of hairs like they forgot to clean the bottom with the net! Very disappointed I will never come here ever again quality inn across the street I be staying there for now on! Room was spotless super clean was very happy with that windows have no window screen and front door was faded I stayed at room 221.

Check in easy, room clean. I especially enjoyed the pool. It was neat, tidy, & there were plenty of pool towels. The grab & go breakfast could be improved. Maybe add cereal bars, granola bars, dried fruit bars to the mix. There are good gluten free options available in those. Overall stay was enjoyable. The staff was friendly & helpful. I would recommend to travelers.

Staff was basically non existent. Always just in the smoking area. No one gave us extra linens we asked for, no one tidied the room, breakfast was always empty. Pool was very grimy and clearly has not been cleaned in a while, doesn’t even have a cover. Holes everywhere, damaged room inside and out. Half the lot taken by large machine trucks.

Room is spacious and there is plenty of parking. You could feel the springs in the mattress though. Pool is small, which is okay, but it wasnt vwry clean and one adult on a pool float takes up half the space of the pool. It was clean except for the pool, convenient to the airport and several other destinations, and easy to fine. I wouldnt stay more than 1 night though because my back couldn't handle the mattress more than that.

The toilet was slow to flush and then backed up completely, but staff fixed it quickly. The property was dated but clean. The pool was small but sparkling and refreshing. Overall, our stay was as expected.

Really liked the easy on/off freeway access. Didn't like: lack of WIFI access; no local Info available in the room; The room we were assigned needed repair work to the bathroom door - When I went to close the sliding pocket door it fell off the track- They did however give us an upgraded room. I had two rooms, one for a guest of mine, their room had a BROKEN light bulb left in the lamp it was reported immediately. This is a major safety issue --- After an hour no one had shown to replace/repair the situation. Had to place a second call and it was repaired during the 3 hours we were out visiting family though. My guest was a smoker and extremely handicapped. There was insufficient guest smoking accommodations. Smokers were suppose to go over near the unsanitary TRASH container to smoke. There is plenty of out door space where small gazebos can be constructed to accommodate guest. The small trash cans placed in a number of locations were uncovered and with the winds that happened to blow the trash was blown out and about.... Not always picked up.

There were ants at the sink counter and bathroom around the tub area. No matter how many time you get rid of them they keep coming back. The air conditioner also had a musty smell whenever you turn it on so it definitely hasn’t been cleaned in a while. The TV also didn’t work.

checked in & went to room assigned; it wasn't cleaned & noisy facing freeway. Went back to front desk & they gave us another room - went there & it smelled like smoke & was dirty. NEVER STAY AT SUNNYSIDE INN! They are not caring for or cleaning the property.

Had ants in the room had to move rooms. Toilet overfliwed. Staff didn't seem to care that had to throw out food due to ants in the room Would not come back to this motel

There was a long black hair in the tub....the floors were dirty. My 6yr old granddaughter took her shoes off and within five min they were black....my window had something all over it which I got one part clean so I could see out of it...I asked a staff member for some Windex they offered to clean it in the end no one did...the top of a unit had a dirt film over it ..under bed u could tell hadn't been touched in months...I only looked because my granddaughter lost her front tooth and I dropped it...no coffee pot ....no trash can ...best part was the pool although It wasn't crystal clear kinda cloudy ...and the ac worked exceptionally well..

My feet were black less than 5 minutes after a shower due to the dirty floors in my room. The tv never worked, despite my letting them know and them saying they would fix it. Thecwalls are very thin and I was able to hear each time someone used the bathroom, walked across a floor, or walked by the room outside, which gets to be a lot with 3 floors of people.There was breakfast of cereal or bagels. There were hard boiled eggs, but they tasted very off. There was only coffee in the lobby by the front desk.

I am very satistified with what they are offering. staffs are fery friendly. And big credits to the cleaning team, they are doing awesome!

Room 231 was dirty and dusty. Floor needed to be swept also no toilet trees. Room reeked from cigarette smoke smell very terribly! Unbearable from cigarette smoke. Pool was good!

The room was really gross. Tons of long black hairs on the pillows, urine and toilet paper in the toilet, so that definitely wasn't cleaned. It looks like they just re-made the slept-in bed and called it good.

I would like to be refund it was dirty broken and bad smell

It wasnt a bad stay but the pictures definitely do make it look way nicer then it is. There was a punch hole in the bathroom door. Bathroom door didnt lock. Bottom of door was cracked. The bed was super uncomfortable and springy. Big wall with a supersmall tv. It was super noisy because it was right by freeway. The ac was super loud.

The key card was so complicating to use. Not the usual key card. So crazy. No wi-fi and no TV!! Terrible lumpy beds!! The worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

I actually really liked it. Nice pool, the rrom was pretty big and you could tell it had been renovated. Nice pool area. All of the staff was great to work with! Close to the freeway and Clakamus Town Center with shopping and restaurants. I would stay here again!

I always love going there. They are affordable and their rooms with the jetted tubs are my favorite as they are bigger enough for two or to enjoy alone and to stretch out in. Always a relaxing peaceful stay.

Major issue with the TV . Remote didn't work, only a few channels, very basic cable. Major pixelation problem. Watched 30 minutes worth, them went to bed. Not sure why a major hotel can't sort out a TV issue. After a long day of driving I like to unwind watching TV before bed. Major disappointment. Everything else was just average.

Beds were squeaky and not comfortable. Rooms are older a bit out dated and backs to the highway so it is loud. Our key lock on the outside of the door was missing parts, and didnt work from time to time, you could look into our room from the missing pieces which was scary. Rooms smelled stale. Overall clean and AC worked great. Not a bad place if youre looking to save a buck.

Very basic room. Bed is a little hard. Lots of traffic noise. But it was relatively inexpensive.

I love staying here when i am in the area, i have had great experience everytime. The rooms are very nice for the price they charge. It was very quiet; in fact I didn't hear any other patrons until after 8am. The beds could be a bit more comfortable, and the comforters were basically a thicker sheet. Overall the stay was very nice and the employees are all very courteous and greet with a smile. I was a bit concerned with the construction materials out in the open on the floor we resided, I was concerned for a potential accident.

This was by far the worst establishment I’ve ever stayed at in my life and I travel quite a bit. The room was disgusting and smelled terrible. Everything was overpriced and the woman at the front desk could not have been more rude and spiteful. I will be filing other reviews and reports.

Management went above and beyond to allow me to utilize a non-refundable reservation I had made through a booking app after not being able to check in due to a problem with my bank card. The could have easily turned me away. Much appreciated!!

The app stated my cost for room with taxes and fees would be roughly $66, but once I arrive the front desk staff states I need to pay an additional $250 cash deposit, which I didn’t have and the details of booking room stated non refundable, even tho they weren’t upfront about overall cost, which seems like a scam

Employees were very nice and personable and professional.

Some of the staff are very nice and helpful but my initial encounter with the front desk lady was terrible. Morgan was in a terrible mood.or sick or I don't know what but she was mad the minute I walked in threatened to call the police because I questioned her or interrupted her she made me run my card three times which activated all kinds of problems with my bank if she worked for me I would fire her. It was clear that I was just bothering her when I walked in. I felt like she gave me the worst accommodations because she didn't like me. I was afraid to complain so had to sleep in a terrible room until the next morning when I talked to the manager who was very nice and gave me another room on the second floor that was all fairly remodeled. The first room was dangerous there was no way to get out in case of a fire it was on the third floor the toilet didn't work the TV didn't work the phone didn't work there were holes in the walls there was dirty disgusting walls and broken lamps every lamp was broken there was mold in the coffee maker I'm sure there was more. I would never stay here again and if I were Travelocity I would never rent this this place.

The door to the room looked like it had previously been kicked in. The staff was very unfriend and rude. It was an inconvenience to come in from the the misting station and to stop smoking to check me or help other guests. Same person checked me out and it was a 10 minute wait for them come in from smoking again. I would not recommend this place.

Clean and functional. Nothing extravagant and very good condition. Easy access to the freeway, hospital, and shopping.

Nothing fancy, but great basic motel. Staff was friendly, and guests were courteous. It was conveniently located and easy to access the highway.

Sunnyside is a clean, reasonably priced hotel. The staff has always been great and it is conveniently located to where we needed to go.

Our stay was very convenient, because we were having a procedure done at Kaiser Permanente across the street. It was safe and it was quiet.

The absolute worst most horrible “breakfast” ever. What a joke.

The staff was awesome -friendly and helpful. However, the breakfast offered was less than our usual "continental breakfast" and the room was adequate but needed some updating or a little more decor. The beds and pillows were comfortable.

No breakfast options only cereal or bread, room conditions extremely horrible, worst experience ever will never come back!!! Online details and pictures are a lie

Highlights: - Friendly staff - Clean room - Complimentary breakfast was stocked nicely. Lows: - The room was showing its age (old building smell, worn fixtures in the bathroom, etc). - Two lamps in the room made it a bit dark in the main room after daylight hours. All in all a good budget-friendly location close to the hospital and shops.

I was in town for Pickathon. The Sunnyside Inn was okay. The room was efficient. Free breakfast is cereal and bagels. Coffee was always on. Clerk denied my request for late check out, after a 4 night stay. Said they were too busy. It was Monday in Clackamas!

Would have preferred a larger breakfast option.
