I liked the quietness. I did not like that there was no water bottles in the rooms to make coffee or napkins or extra towels to clean up spill around coffee machine are/microwave. And last the pool was very dirty there was dirt on the walls of the pool and the water looked very dirty. Also the shower area and restrooms in the pool area were very dirty for it being a resort.

This place was great! They have beautiful trails around the property you can walk all the way to the ocean. Shopping and restaurants are on site! The brewery is fantastic! The room was clean and nicely decorated, we loved the in room fire place. Pool, hot tub and sauna were all working and nicely maintained.

The lodge is cozy and nicely updated. Beautiful woodwork. The staff was friendly. Beds and room comfortable and spacious. The grounds are beautiful and the old growth trees amazing. The only not so good part was that the hot tub was not working while we were there, which is what my teenage son really looks forward to about vacations. It would have been nice to know it would be closed.

False advertising- the infinity pool in the photos is NOT part of the included amenities for the hotel (it’s part of the spa across the street and the cost is $95 per person for day use). The hotel staff did not accommodate us since that is the only reason I booked the hotel - even called twice about the pool. The grounds and room are beautiful but everything else is lacking. Average amenities, no shampoo/conditioner in the bathrooms, the restaurant is mediocre and the pool is indoors. Only worth it if you plan on spending most of your time in your room enjoying the view, otherwise not really worth it.

Had a nice room with a gas fireplace and a small deck to enjoy a morning coffee. Very nice lobby and breakfast area both inside and outside to enjoy the mornings. Breakfast was delicious. Lots of chargers available for tesla vehicles. Theres a nice private beach on the peninsula, past the golf course you can access with your room card.

Wait staff for food services were slow and/or a bit snarky. Ate dinner at The Attic on NYE, it was underwhelming, especially for the cost. "1/2 pound burger" was two patties and the crispy salmon was meh and really needed some sort of sauce with sweet or citrus to balance the salty / savory of the dish. Front desk team was really nice and welcoming. The room and grounds were nice. Though it would be nice to have the chairs near the fire pits to be wiped down after rain or in the morning so they can be sat in without getting soaked. The pool and hot tub were nice but the sauna, one of the key amenities we were looking forward to using barely got above 90 degrees over the 3 days we were there. It would have been nice to sit in a 120 degree sauna over the cold days.

The property was beautiful, the room was not great , on the surface looked cleaned but once you looked deeper you could tell deep cleaning was not something they do often. The was definitely pink mold in the bathtub and the floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The baseboards were black with all the dust. Countertops were dusty as well. Definitely not very clean!

Arrived a couple hours after check in and was welcomed promptly. Services and amenities were decent for the price. I would only mention that they should clean more thoroughly, especially all flat surfaces and under the bed. Thanks for having us!

For the price I would have expected the rooms to have been wiped down and vacuumed between guest. There was quite a bit of deferred maintenance, but what was more disappointing was how dirty the room was. The room had clearly not been vacuumed with food and other chunks in the carpet. The chair had chocolate smeared into the upholstery. The walls showed signs of dirt drips. There was toothpaste on the walls and every surface in the bathroom. I did let the front desk staff know that the room had not been vacuumed or wiped down properly and they did not apologize but they did send a cleaning crew who did not wipe down the area, but did vacuum.

Room was not very clean. Considerable amount of debris and some random hairs on the counter where coffee machine sits. The sheets on the bed had blood stains. They were obviously laundered, but had stains. The refrigerator in the room was not working and had to be replaced.

The property is great with lots to do and see. Workout facility, indoor swimming pool, hot tub and sauna. Couple of restaurants on property with one particularly having a pool table. A few fire pits around property as well. Mountain biking trail and hiking trail on property. The room is spacious and mostly clean. It had a musty smell that I tried to get rid of with balcony door open, but it wouldn't go away. The beds are very used and need to be replaced. Sound proofing rooms would be nice as well as adding down comforters to the room.

Nice place and good location but there's a lot of noise if anyone else is staying in the unit above or next from water and plumbing. The TV and thermostat were also a little confusing. For the price I would have expected a little more quiet room.

This was our first time staying here. The property is beautiful, and the breakfast was fantastic. However, a few things will keep us away in the future. 1) We definitely didn't get that 'resort' feel, and in all fairness it is called a lodge but we were tricked, your website sells something much more luxurious. 2) No air conditioning, we kept the door open with the fan blowing all night but had no relief, also the fireplace would have been utilized if it had been colder, but was never turned on and still did significantly heat the room and lit the entire room up at night. 3) water pressure was non existent. Very depressing showers, and not very hot water. That alone would not entice me to visit again. 4) Besides that, great for people with dogs who want something more rustic. Not luxurious enough for what we were looking for. 5) The private beach that we got to go to was extremely awesome!!

Such a beautiful property! Many thoughtful details and the rooms were spacious. Lovely to have the rockers on the private patio and we enjoyed the fireplace as well. So convenient to walk across the street for food and shopping trails and the beach were so close by. Staff was very kind and helpful! I wish the beds were firmer, much too squishy for my liking but everything else was perfect!

It was absolutely wonderful here!! Expansive grounds with so many activities to do! Staff is super helpful too and really friendly! Girls at the front desk were so nice! The rooms are spacious, quiet, and have wonderful views. 10/10 would stay here again :)

Last minute trip. Only stayed one night but it was extremely nice and we will definitely be coming back soon. All the staff especially the lady at the front desk, wish I could remember her name, were amazing.

The facilities were lovely as we're the grounds. The restaurant management needs to address the lack of workforce. You have one server handling the entire restaurant there's a definite problem with management. I also had to request hangers for my room which was unacceptable. On the good side the golf course was great however the merchandise was well over priced.

I’ve stayed here too many times to count over the last 20 years… This trip was disappointing. The staff was less than pleasant except for the waiter we had at dinner Friday night. Food was good with decent portions and at a fair price. Expedia said the room was $248 but on checking out it was well over $300… When we got home yesterday I noticed my checking account “ we used a debit card”( huge mistake) had been hit for over $1500 from the resort… when we called Saturday, they said there was no one there that could help us.. when I called Sunday morning, the girl was rude, argumentative, abrasive and insulting. She hung up on us after talking over me every-time i tried to ask a question. When e called back, we were told a manger would call us at 8am… we got a call back at 9:43… she was friendly and explained their process… supposedly in 3-8 business days we should be charged the correct dollar amount for our stay… which is closer to $800, not the $1500 they have tied up in my account…

Hotels.com advertised a meal credit that resort would not honor until I called Expedia and got routes through calls centers and put on hold for 45 minutes. No customer service from either party until I made the frustrating time commitment. And I was correct, so either it was false advertising or something. Meal was sub par as well, which has never been the case in the past. We have stayed many times in the past but will think twice before coming back.

Really great property! First time there so lots to figure out and do. Older property, but relatively well-maintained. Traffic noise was a bit problematic, but understandable due to location will likely return.

This was our first time visiting this hotel. We decided to take a trip with our 17-year-old pup from the Texas coast to the PNW coast since we don't think he will last another year. It was our last little adventure. They were really accommodating to us, and the beach was so close! Even more, you could just walk all the little trails and feel like you are in a Jurassic Park movie. Truly a pup-friendly place.

Excellent woodsy setting. I loved the relaxation even in the pouring rain! Walkways are mostly covered so you can easily enjoy this part of the coast in bad weather. Private beach access was awesome.

Salishan Coastal Lodge was a well maintained property both inside and out. We enjoyed our walk down to the shopping area. We discovered a nature trail the meandered along the golf course and the bay from shopping center over to the beautiful coast. Oh, did I mention it is a golf resort as well. Make sure to use your room card to access the private gate to get to Salishan beach, just south of the shopping area via Salishan Dr. There is a parking area at the end of the road and walk out to the ocean. Walk the length of the spit on one side and then walk back of the bay side for a truly amazing view.

I absolutely love Salashan and will definitely be coming back! The location is stunningly beautiful, the staff was lovely, and it was exactly what I was looking for. The only downside was how surprisingly noisy the traffic was from just a single lane in each direction. Next time I’ll request a room that’s further from the road in the hopes that it will be more quiet. Everything else was perfection.

The hiking, golf, spa are all wonderful. This is not a hotel for someone that is working even though they have big meeting rooms. The rooms are not designed for a business stay. This is also not a beach hotel. You cannot hear the ocean from the rooms, but the views of the forest are amazing.

It was a beautiful lodge to just walk around. It was nice to be able to just walk a bit to get food and then have a lovely view while eating. The food there was good and the service was fantastic!

The hotel was amazing, the view was great, it was very clean, the staff at the desk were very friendly and helpful. However, we ried to eat at the attic after checking in, worse service I've ever seen. We sat at our table for 20 minutes. After being seated by hostess, we watched the waitress help the table behind us 3 times. Then after we said we've been waiting 20 minutes, she lied and said I'm sorry I've been busy downstairs, what can I do for you... We said no thank you, and left... We then went to the downstairs provisions market stood in line and when we got to the cash register the lady behind the counter looks at us and the guy behind us and says I'm sorry we're closed, as she was taking money from the person in front of us...

The Attic restaurant, the bar food was like for from WalMart. We didn't have dinner but snacks in the Bar, it was horrible. The pita bread was stale, The other type of bread shouldn't be served. Drinks were too expensive.

I love this place. Everything you need is right there in the resort if you don't want to go anywhere. But it's also located in a tourist area of the 101. So Lots of adventures to go on outside of the resort as well. I only wish their dining menu in the restaurant upstairs was better. It's just not a good selection and the restaurant itself is boring looking. No ambiance for the prices. We just are appetizers and called it good. But the drinks were great. The bartender and manager are awesome

Check in was a breeze, the grounds are beautiful. The market didn’t have enough options for snacks and they aren’t staffed properly for meal times - breakfast on our case. We left to find someplace else to go after waiting in a long line that was moving slow. Also, the room service option wasn’t clear - they said they had it but no link on the website to see what you could order.

The grounds were beautiful. The room and view were beautiful and restful. The bath tub was large and very nice to relax in. Unfortunately, the mattress was a sink hole and not supportive. I did not sleep well. The fireplace was beautiful but the fan was not working correctly and very noisy, even without the fan it was noisy. We were too tired to say anything and move rooms. We had dinner in the grounds and it was delicious. Breakfast had perfect bacon and jam from heaven.

Celebrating special occasion at Bayside Restaurant 5 course menu was a delight. Will be sorry to see them go in October. Rooms, service immaculate. The best was able to bring our dog with treats presented at check in!

Wait staff for food services were slow and/or a bit snarky. Ate dinner at The Attic on NYE, it was underwhelming, especially for the cost. "1/2 pound burger" was two patties and the crispy salmon was meh and really needed some sort of sauce with sweet or citrus to balance the salty / savory of the dish. Front desk team was really nice and welcoming. The room and grounds were nice. Though it would be nice to have the chairs near the fire pits to be wiped down after rain or in the morning so they can be sat in without getting soaked. The pool and hot tub were nice but the sauna, one of the key amenities we were looking forward to using barely got above 90 degrees over the 3 days we were there. It would have been nice to sit in a 120 degree sauna over the cold days.

Looking for a place to completely unwind from stress. This is your place of serenity. In the woods, nature oriented, very relaxed and absolute delight. 5 out of 5 for everything. It was wonderful. Myself and my girlfriend had a wonderful time

Nice comfortable room. Enjoyed nature trail to beach. Food and service at Provisions was terrible. Need to have a good restaurant on site. Needs major work to exteriors, roofs, windows and porches.

Stayed here several times and always enjoyed the property. Some updates, new operations for the restaurant, order from counter and order is brought to your table. Food was very good. The Attic had some enjoyable appetizers and cocktails.the golf course disappointing mainly because they charged us over 150$ each for 9 holes as 75 year old seniors while they promoted on the counter a $70 per person rate week days for 9 holes but we were not allowed that rate. Golf course was in good shape. Just wish they had given us more consideration especially since the person checking in in front of me was charged $30 per person

I have driven by Salishan a million times but never stayed here. Finally decided to give it a shot. The property is beautiful the staff is extremely polite and helpful. The best part for us was the private beach. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because of the lack of AC. In the summer months this could be a dealbreaker for some people. Overall I will definitely be returning.
