Super 8 by Wyndham Pendleton

THERE IS NOT A HOT TUB!!! The area where the hot tub used to be is filled in. The carpeting throughout the hotel is very dirty, needs much more frequent deep cleaning. Service was good, staff was responsive when asked, but could be more proactive in ensuring breakfast and coffee is fully stocked throughout the listed time. Overall would stay here again, but would appreciate the small improvements.

The heated pool wasnt heated. Though the staff said it was on, you could clearly tell the guy was lying to try and save face. I get hotels based on what their websites say they have. It looks bad on them when things dont work.

It didn't seem quite up to what we had seen on a number of other visits. Breakfast seemed to have more choices before. No milk available for cereal. It was basically a heavy carb, high sugar breakfast. Pool has been closed for a long, long time now.

The swimming pool was ice cold. Took grand kids here just for the pool. Hot tub was filled in with dirt!!!

Pet friendly, easy access from freeway, pool

I was so excited seeing the pool, it looked extremely clean. I stepped into the water and yanked my foot back out. Thats why it was so clean , it would require a wet suit to swim. I have swam in warmer lakes.

No elevator

Couldn't believe there was no elevator. 73 years old trying to get luggage up 16 stairs was a huge task. If we weren't so tired from traveling, we would have gone on to the next town

Conveniently located next to I-84. Plenty of parking.

Rooms are small. Free breakfast consits of waffles, sweet roll, instant oatmeal, and toast. No fruit at all The pool was closed and we were not aware.

Not only desperately needs renovation, the place was disgustingly dirty. Hair on the bathroom floor, hair on pillows, old worn, stained towels, stained carpets, dirty coffee maker, etc, etc. The box spring had neither a cover or a skirt. The old mattress was covered only by a very thin and worn fitted sheet. That sheet was wrinkly and I couldn’t be certain it had even been changed. The front desk person did offer us a different room, which was slightly better. When I tried to talk to the supervisor the next morning ( in a calm, productive way) she was basically uninterested in what I had to say. We didn’t even consider trying the included breakfast. The lobby and hallways were no better than the rooms. Wyndham, you’ve got a major problem there!!!

Black mold in the bathroom and the smell in the hallways is unbearable.

We woke up to bed bugs we told the front counter and they said they have bug come in from outside

The room was not cleaned. Dirty shower. Coffee maker had old coffee in it with a layer of mold on top. Dirty plastic spoon on floor. Hair on the pillow.

The room was filthy the tables were not even wiped down there was still food on it from a previous guest the floors were dirty . The tub had a huge live spider in it soon as we walked in . The windows were completely filthy could not even see out of them. This should be illegal to rent rooms out like this to take people’s money for rooms this flithy is ridiculous . will not be staying here again

The room was filthy ,long black hairs in the bathroom, around the taps were dirty. Below the headboards of the beds was all kinds of different dirt. Overall the place is really outdated and old.

Unfortunately I left this property crawling with Bed Bugs by the time I got home to Eugene I had over 40 bites and eventually had to go to the ER.

Bathroom was dirty. Floor had definitely not been cleaned. TV did not work, got in late, and left early, so did not try to change rooms. .

Bathrooms were very dirty. Hair and urine around toilet, also the scum in the shower was so thick that it was gray not a white shower. Front desk seemed to be inconvenienced everytime you had a question or concern. The beds were super comfy and clean. Overall a 5/10. If you pay close to 600 for 2 nights I think this establishment should be pristine in all areas.

We returning about this hotel was disgusting. The floors were filthy, the bathtub was filthy. The coffee maker had old coffee still in it. The hottub was closed. The staff was reluctant to even bring a clean coffee pot.

It’s in much need of an update. Overall it was clean enough, although I found long dark hair on the edge of the tub. My husband shaves his white hair and mine is white. Our room was quite cold when we entered and when we turned on the heater it didn’t work. Attendant came but couldn’t fix so offered us another room but then my husband reset it and it started to work but kept stopping. Eventually my husband got it going. Worst part people above us pounded and crashed around until 10:00 pm and started again at 2:15 am until we left. Don’t understand why we were placed under another room when the hotel was basically empty.

The walls were paper thin. The blow dryer didnt work. Asked at front desk for one since i didnt bring one because the online said they had them in the rooms. She stated she didnt know where any where and was alone and couldnt leave the desk and maintenance wasnt in yet. The bed was comfortably nice and the pillows also. The jets on the jacuzzi didnt work well. The pool was closed due to issues. People letting there animals poop all over and not picking it up. Needed a designated dog area...

Our room was clean but the property is old and the carpet is so stained that even if cleaned it would not look clean. The room was very affordable and to just go in and sleep after a concert it was fine

We rented a room with a hot tub in it and that was nice but it did take a while for the water to get hot

The bed was comfortable but the wall seemed a bit thin. I was able to hear the resident in the next room roll over in his bed

I don’t expect much when staying at a property like super 8, but the one thing I need is a new mattress. I don’t expect it to be fancy and I even assume it will be the cheapest mattress they can find, this experience however was the worst I’ve had. I’m not sure the mattress has been replaced in 40 years. It was lumpy, hard in some spots, soft in others and completely unsupportive. Worst night of sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel

Bed was very lumpy.and uncomfotable. Pillows are dinky and uncomfortable. Personal shower was broken and unusable.

Overall, our stay was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room we were in needed some updating as far as the broken down spring beds and window coverings that still let light through when closed. The room had an odd odor, but once we turned the ac on it wasn’t as noticeable. We didn’t partake in the continental breakfast, but it smelled delightful downstairs! I would stay here again, but hopefully prepare ahead of time so we aren’t paying the inflated prices that come along with a mediocre hotel room during the Pendleton Round-Up.

When we arrived to check in the front desk said they didn't have any rooms for us for our reservation and that they moved our reservation to the Red Lion for the same stay and rate that we were going to have there. Ok great. NOT. When we arrived at the Red Lion they stated that they didn't actually have a room for us and that they were all booked up also. They were able to get us a room with only one bed instead of two (party of three here) and only for one night instead of two for more than what we originally reserved our room for. The front desk wasn't helpful in getting us a second night and had to book at a completely different hotel for our second night.

I was placed in room 112 close to where they were working in the laundry room. There was banging and knocking. The worker did explain what was happening but after working 2 sixteen hour shifts the last thing i wanted to hear was loud noises. On another occasion I was placed in room 226 the night time front desk guy casual took his time getting to the desk to check me in as he was standing in the window eating a banana and talking on the phone. It was a reasonable price just for a place to sleep after working 16 hours.

the front desk manager was rude from the moment we walked in! definitely learns to learn some customer service skills! We left and never stayed! I wouldn’t spend a penny or a night supporting her in business

We recently had an extended stay at The Wyndham in Pendleton. I can honestly say, the owners and staff are amazing people. They made our stay here so much better. Not only were they very accommodating to my families needs, the treated us like family. 10/10 would recommend staying here.

Overall facility was dirty looking. Lots of garbage and trash outside. Inside appeared dirty and outdated. Our room: the tub and sink did not drain properly. The gal at the front desk called someone to come look at it. He plunged it and it did drain better. Judging from the pieces of garbage under the sink, toilet, night stands it’s clear they aren’t being thoroughly cleaned. We had 2 queen beds both were horribly broken down and stained. The comforters were old and also had stains. They seemed extremely understaffed. The one gal at the front desk was on shift for at least 24 hours. Would not recommend staying at this facility

Staff is super friendly and really helped my family out!

Took 45 minutes to get somebody to fix the TV only had one channel to watch for 2 days at front desk if you were able to get somebody at the front desk I had to ring the bell for 10 minutes each time and we're not very friendly

I would have given overall 3 starts if the customer service wasn’t so bad. I called ahead of time to see if there was a rollaway bed charge and was told no. The front desk young lady then proceeded to charge me for it. She left me and other guesting waiting 10 minutes to check in. I called the front desk three times during my stay with no answer. I confronted the young lady about it and said she was busy. Terrible hospitality. The room was OK but falling apart. The carpet was filthy. My little boys feet were brown. The art was pretty. There is AC.

We got to the hotel 10 minutes before check in to a person waiting in the lobby and a note on the front desk that says absolutely no early checkins. Check in is after 3:00pm. So we waited and a handful of others came in as we waited and they had all been told to go away until check in time previous to us showing up, is what they told us. So finally at 3:15 a lady showed up and started checking people in but she was not friendly and didn’t really have communication skills that you usually find at hotels. The pool is filled but not open. On the deck of the pool they have turned it into a storage room it’s filled with mattresses and mini fridges some in boxes some not. So the pool isn’t usable that is always a bad thing when traveling with kids because that’s how they get their energy out from sitting in a car all day. Breakfast in the morning consists of coffee, hot chocolate, cereal, waffles, toast, prepackages cinnamon rolls, juice, and oranges. Not near the spread it shows in the pictures. The back and side entrance doors don’t shut properly unless pulled closed so anyone could get in at anytime. The carpet is so dirty cleaning it wouldn’t even touch the built up dirt and all the stains. Our room was clean except for the tub, it has a lot of built up grime, and carpet, it’s old. It was spacious but the rest of the hotel needs to be redone and all the flooring. Beds were good to sleep in and we were able to get extra pillows so that was a plus. Ac was efficient.

It’s not the Ritz, but the bed was comfortable, the room looked/felt clean, they accept pets (for a nominal charge), and it was easy on/off the freeway. Just what we were looking for while traveling.

Located off the Highway. Not too noisy. Good parking in the back. Doors outside were not locking. Staff friendly. No issue overnight. Was ok for one night. Breakfast included. Room was older but clean. Casino about 3 miles away.

They advertise Breakfast. All they had were Waffles, Cereal, English Muffins and Toast. There was no proteins available and my wife is diabetic. Even at the lesser quality Super 8 in Ontario, they had Eggs, Yogurt, and Fruit available. We went to Shari's.

The pool and hot tub haven’t been filled in years. They need to stop advertising that they have a pool and hot tub! Hardest bed ever!!! The breakfast was non existent. No fruit or cereal, waffles and a few pieces of bread.

I chose this place based on their offering breakfast and the pool. I cleaned up the pool area so i could use it. There were lots of dirty towels but no clean ones. Basically we had to ask the person at the desk if they could put down their cell phone long enough to provide service. We inconvenienced them to start coffee for the breakfast they say they offer. Cold cereal but no milk. The machine they use for the juices they offer was empty all weekend. The overall cleanliness was poor. Just wouldnt pay the rate we did for this room again
