It was a beautiful property right on the river. A deer visited us during our stay. Clean and spacious room with a balcony. Big grass area for the dogs with dog clean bags and trashcan.

The Riverfront Inn was perfect for our stop on a trip through Oregon. The hotel is updated and has a very nice dog friendly park on premises. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony overlooking the river while eating our included breakfast before we checked out. The Riverfront was also significantly less expensive and appeared to be just as nice as the chain hotel nextdoor.

Hotel is across from the river, all rooms have patios or balconies, so it’s pretty! Our check-in clerk was very nice. Good location, but you can hear traffic noise. Nice hot shower! The rooms are older but have some updates to freshen up the bathroom. Comfortable stay.

Very nice hotel on the river. Just off I-5 and on busy Harvard, but was quiet at night. We had a nice walk in their garden after dinner and a dip in the pool. Could have had more lighting at pool and garden. Only lights were from other sources. Nice breakfast, no hot food, but a variety of cereal, muffins, bagels, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, etc. Small eating area, but trays so could take food back to room. Reasonable price. I'd stay again.

Each unit has a private balcony with seating. There is a beautiful landscaped area, although not huge, it offers a picnic table, and benches. Dogs are allowed on the beautiful lawn and there are bags to dispose of pets waste. Very courteous and pleasant staff with a proactive approach.

Left at 11pm . Itching all over and the bed had a lot of black spots and a couple larger beige ones. Seemed to be bed bugs. Yikes. I then just drove until 2am to just get home Never had an experience like that before and the room reeked of a floral smell to point I aired it out with open windows and doors. Strangely the big windows in the back were open when I arrived. Also the mattress was encased in a plastic cover. Felt like they were aware of an issue Worse experience I have had traveling in decades

The floors were just not clean in the bathroom. I asked for them to be washed again. They were rewashed--better. Sadly, and true in many.facilities, cleaning corners and grout is just not done.

The pictures portrayed a clean room but, there were many spiderwebs on the ceiling the floor was so dirty that your feet were dark on the bottom, and the shower floor was also dirty. The area didn’t seem the safest, few rundown buildings near by. The people were nice and the breakfast in the lobby had nice options.

The photos online made this property look nicer and more modern than our room turned out to be. This is an old motel with very dated fixtures. It was clean and had what we needed for one night, but unless you're looking for something nostalgic, this may not be your place.

The hotel is located on the edge of town, easy to find and conveniently located. The front staff person when we checked in was amazing, very friendly and such a delight. It is an older property, but pretty well maintained. There are no elevators and our room was on the second floor. The negatives are the noise level (the walls are paper thin; could hear our neighbors using the bathroom) and the breakfast was so-so. All in all, a good place to stay, but bring earplugs.

The room we stayed in was huge. Customer service was friendly, efficient and great. Room was clean, but a bit dated. Floors looked great. Wish they had smart tvs, but otherwise, everything was as listed and quiet.

Location is great but these are the thinnest walls I have ever experienced. We could hear flushing next door, the TV, every time someone opened or closed a door - no privacy at all and sounds abound. If you need quiet this is definitely NOT the place for you. Staff were very friendly.

Only stay on top floor! Walls and ceiling are like tissue paper. River view offers solitude. Nice pool but needs 5 degrees warmer. Receptionist does a great job. No tub, so room was disappointing. Shower head broke but was repaired in short order. Located on extremely busy vehicular intersection. Rather noisy.

My room was directly across from a VERY loud ice maker that grumbled and rattled every 15 minutes. When I told the owner the next morning, telling him that I had been up half the night, he shrugged his shoulders and said, "No one has ever complained about it before." My answer: "What possible difference does that make?" He offered me 10% off the bill, I asked for 50% because I was up half the night. I rejected the 10%. I did suggest to the owner that he himself spend a night in that room, because I know he would have had to believe me if he'd experienced the room himself. Honestly, I felt that I was not taken seriously because I am a woman. Cannot recommend this hotel because of the attitude of the owner, but it's also in a sketchy area with street people just outside.

We got there a day earlier than we thought we’d made the reservation for and they didn’t have a room available. They made a suggestion where to stay for the night. We went back the next day (the date of our actual reservation) and they had cancelled it. They assumed we didn’t need the reservation. Wrong! We had to scramble for a different property.

Ann at reception makes this property shine above similarly priced alternatives in the area. Ann is pleasant, helpful, and cheerfully accommodating, both in advance and on day of arrival. Hopefully, management/ownership are aware of and appreciate what an asset she is. She brings the Riverfront Inn up significantly relative to the price range, which is a unique quality in any associate. When in Roseburg, we would return to the Riverfront Inn specifically because of her professionalism and understanding of the concept of "hospitality".

A lovely setting by the South Umpqua River, close to historic downtown. Worth making a stop at Sherm's Thunderbird Market and stopping in at the local McMenamins for a brew. Traffic noise is the only downside as I5 is just across the river.

Close to busy road and since an older motel style, could hear traffic. Staff friendly. Breakfast was grab and go bagel/muffin in small lobby. Overall ok stay but would go somewhere else next time.

The location overlooking the river near downtown area was excellent. The staff are friendly and professional. Our room was large with a beautiful view of the river. Beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. Highly recommend.

Liked the proximity to the river (walkable), which is adjacent to the property. There are places to eat nearby, some walkable but many more within a 5-8 min drive. It was quiet despite all the doors opening to the parking lot.

Older hotel thats been upgraded but feels a little like putting lipstick on a pig. Bed was too soft and there were small super cheap pillows. Homeless people were living in tents under the bridge literally next to the hotel. Breakfast was adequate but morning desk girl was a snarky b*tch

A nice and comfortable stay, but the building and the rooms need some work. Everything is pretty old. It's got a nice view of the river, and the homeless encampment under the city bridge. In any other area this would be a great stay (such as out away from the city center itself). Friendly staff. Pool needs cleaning.

I like that this hotel has balconies available so we could enjoy the river and park setting from our room. The ac was weak and the room was quirky but clean and acceptable. The staff are friendly. The continental breakfast saves you money, not fancy but adequate. The price value for this hotel is reasonable.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was good wxcept tgevshiwer was small and we had to ask the front desk how to operate it. Good location. Mice balcony overlooking the river plus a nice area by the river with tables and chairs. Breakfast was very limited. Nothing hot just cereal and bagels. But there was a Denny’s across the street.

Not too bad a motel but it’s not an 8.3 rating. I’d give it somewhere around a 7. Location on the river was ok. Real easy access off the interstate. A little rundown. Noisy spot. Breakfast was far below average. Thankfully Denny’s was just across the street.

Very nice hotel on the river. Just off I-5 and on busy Harvard, but was quiet at night. We had a nice walk in their garden after dinner and a dip in the pool. Could have had more lighting at pool and garden. Only lights were from other sources. Nice breakfast, no hot food, but a variety of cereal, muffins, bagels, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, etc. Small eating area, but trays so could take food back to room. Reasonable price. I'd stay again.

We went back to Roseburg to visit family and friends, so we thought we would give the Riverfront Inn a chance, as it was recommended by a friend. We were not sorry, as it was an excellent stay! The beds were very comfortable, and they didn't charge too much for an early check in. The only problem is the location. Being right near an intersection made it very difficult to get in and out of the property. Other than that, we loved it. It was raining so we couldn't use the pool, darn it!
