Holiday Inn Portland- I-5 S Wilsonville by IHG

This hotel is convenient to freeway and is clean. The room was spacious. We found one of the washing machines out of order when we tried to do laundry, so we had to wait, but its nice to have laundry in the hotel at all.

There was no one to check me in for a solid 5-10 min. Not sure where he went. He said there were some people stuck in an elevator and that the fire department was coming so he had to rush and check me in and leave again. I took his story and said ok. I went to my room. I went to my car about 15 min later. I did not see any fire department people on premises so yeh. The building is kind of musty, but it was cheap. I just needed a 1 night stay because my house is getting remodeled and the AC is down. The premises is kind of run down with a lot of weeds all around and the building is showing its age. If you are sensitive to musty or moldy smells. I would avoid.

The room was pretty clean I did find a water bottle lid underneath the table. I did not get to go into the pool due to all the other people that were in there. Staff was awesome the restaurant was super good really enjoyed the food.

Carpet stainurine stained carpet switch trims people that work here also live here zero professionalism zero communication zero consistency!! I came in with my emotional support kitten on March 28 and they just said something today that they had some sort of problem with that and only allowed dogs. The older lady that works at the front desk is completely and pallet and confused the keys never work. There’s never anybody at the front desk. My personal lives are way too obvious printer doesn’t work. The only thing about this hotel is a bed in the restaurant that’s connected to it that’s it.

Enjoyed the stay overall. Breakfast was delicious but when we tried to go to the bistro for dinner we sat down, got menus and then sat there for 10 minutes. We ended up just going somwehere else. Also wish the pool was heated.
