This is probably the best Super 8 we have stayed at in a long time. Wonderful staff, very clean rooms, very good breakfast, and great little laundromat. We will be back if I get back to Gettysburg!

There needs better soundproofing between rooms. Also, very disappointed that the hot tub was broken. That was the reason i booked this particular property.

The room was nice. The pool was great, as was the hot tub. Breakfast was hot, and had a nice variety. The staff were super friendly. The location isn't walkable to town, but it's in a great area with food and shopping nearby.

We had a great stay at the Super 8 Gettysburg, it was easy to find and the online check k made our check in really fast and easy. All we had to do was show up and pick up our keys. The room was spacious and clean with a fridge and a microwave and they allowed us to bring our 3 dogs along. The hotel was conveniently close to everything and we went and checked out the historic sites after our stay.

We had a great stay at the Super 8 Gettysburg, it was easy to find and the online check k made our check in really fast and easy. All we had to do was show up and pick up our keys. Main lobby was clean and the front desk was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately our room was not as clean. The room had a smell of stale cigarettes, which lingered on our clothes when we left the hotel. We had to wipe down our sink area because there was some kind of substance stuck to the counter. Areas in the room were dusty, and we found an old chewed up dog bone near the bed. Overall it wasn’t terrible. If you need to save money for your trip, you can’t beat the price.

The bedding smelled like BO...the pillow cases had makeup on them. The pillows smelled really bad. The carpet had dog hair. Overall the room was not clean. There was also no hot water the first morning i was there. I would not recommend this hotel.

We have stayed this hotel years ago. The condition of the interior was less than satisfactory. You are greeted with a heavy smell of room deodorizer which caused me to cough due to the strong smell. Carpets, walls, bathroom were dirty. Toilet had a mold ring which reflects the toilet was not properly cleaned.

The outside and lobby could use an upgrade but the rooms were extremely clean and lovely. Beds were very comfortable - bathroom very clean and a very quiet stay. I don’t usually do Super 8 – but I would do this one again in a heartbeat.

There was a musty, mildew like smell very strong in room as you came in like they might have had a water leak from bathroom and the carpet backing molded. We were only there two nights so I didn’t complain and ask to move once I assessed that the further you went into the room the less it smelled and we basically were only there to sleep

I booked this hotel for the purpose of sleep accomodation during our stay. It is afterall very convenient as far as the historical interests and the surroundin area of Lincoln Square. The problem with our sleeping accomodation was the room we were assigned, room # 228. The beds had BED BUGS!!!!!. We did not realize it until Sunday 7/6. At first we thought we had mosquito bites, espacially after visiting the Military Battlefield. My daughter had it worst, my wife and me had it also. Needless to mention that we did not have an enjoyable sleep.

The room was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. We especially liked the liquid body soap,shampoo and conditioner in the shower. What I didn't like was there was no elevator to go to the second floor. My wife has bad knees and it's difficult for her to go down stairs. The breakfast could be improved. We got down to the breakfast area around 8:30, and the fresh fruit was all gone.

Staff was nice, clean room, & bed was comfortable. Room was missing coffee maker. No shear blinds to let light in & maintain privacy at same time. Our room ceiling, below room above us, lacked acoustical dampening. Footsteps & sqeaky floor could be heard. Contintental breakfast had limited selection; no eggs, or meat.

The pillows and beds are super comfy. The water pressure is great. The employees are very nice. They were quick to resolve an issue for us. The first room we were in was really hot and not cooling down so they switched us to another room. The only issue we had in that room was a smoke detector right outside the bathroom door which went off every time we took a really hot shower.

This is obviously not a luxury hotel but if you are looking for a decent, clean place at a reasonable price that is convenient to the battlefield and historic sites this is a good choice. We stayed 3 nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but obviously dated. Internet was a little iffy basically cutting in and out but it didn’t ruin our stay. The pool and hot tub was nice. The breakfast was very limited just cereal, waffles, and yogurts but we were able to supplement with things we brought. Additionally, the fridge and microwave in the room made it convenient for making our own meals (with 3 kids and a budget that is sometimes a necessity) I would stay here again.

We love the beds/pillows/bedding here. We are not fans of the air conditioning unit which worked according to its desire as opposed to ours.. It just had a mind of its own...running on its own speed and temperature which didnt meet our needs/expectations. The staff is great and its quiet. We also feel safe and like the location. Perkins, Dunkins, and DQ within walking distance are a plus.

Our 2nd issue was the included breakfast. Just begals, waffles, and cereal offered. A bit disappointing to us. We preferred breakfast at Starbucks. Other than those two issues, we really enjoyed our stay at the Super 8 by Wyndham in Gettysburg.

Very convenient friendly place to stay. We had a little problem with our key .and Angie from the front desk spent quite a long time cheerfully and apologetically solving the issue. Millie helped her and they are excellent employees!

Great , friendly staff , they made it very relaxing and enjoyable stay , the breakfast was clean hot and fresh , the staff worked very hard to make everyone happy. Great job and thanks.

Angie on evening shift was wonderful! Friendly, happy and helpful! Night and morning shift ladies were rude and unfriendly. Asked one to turn on tv and her sassy reply was “If you can figure it out” and the other one took the clicker when I went to my car for 1 minute. Very rude and low class. Breakfast was awful with cheap yogurt, liquid eggs and no meat. Bed was hard and old. Old and run down place. Police dropped off people at the hotel and there were some suspicious looking people around the place. Walls were thin, could hear everything. Would never even think of going back there.

The hospitality and when my wife came back from the trauma center no problems checking out early to go home for follow up treatment at home. I have nothing but the highest praise for the night and morning manger in their prompt and exemplary service. I will make this my permanent stay every time I come back to Gettysburg which is usually 3 to 4 times per year. Nothing but exemplary service and inpeccable staff.

Great location to visit all of Gettysburg sites. Front desk very helpful and friendly. Hotel was very clean and breakfast was good. I usually don’t stay at Super 8, but I am glad we picked this one. Safe area and close to restaurants and a Wal Mart.

The room was nice. The pool was great, as was the hot tub. Breakfast was hot, and had a nice variety. The staff were super friendly. The location isn't walkable to town, but it's in a great area with food and shopping nearby.

The hotel has undergone a couple upgrades the last few years. I can tell it’s under new (and better) management. There is now shampoo, conditioner, and bath gel in the shower. The breakfast has been upgraded also. There are eggs and sausage now in addition to the other breakfast items.

Would have given a higher overall rating but the free continental breakfast was terrible. Only choices were dry cereal/make your own waffles/bagels/yogurt. I opted for the bagel (only plain available) and yogurt. The bagel was stale and tasteless, no cream cheese available only butter/ the yogurt was some off brand and was literally the worst i have ever had. So bad I opted for Dunkin the second morning of a two night stay. Super8 needs to make major improvements in this area. Otherwise no complaints.

Our stay was nice we would come back. We stayed 3 nights. The only negatives, there isnt an elevator! Which wasnt a problem for us but could be for someone else. The breakfast was a little limited. They had waffles, 2 types of cereal and 2 types of bagel.

This is obviously not a luxury hotel but if you are looking for a decent, clean place at a reasonable price that is convenient to the battlefield and historic sites this is a good choice. We stayed 3 nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but obviously dated. Internet was a little iffy basically cutting in and out but it didn’t ruin our stay. The pool and hot tub was nice. The breakfast was very limited just cereal, waffles, and yogurts but we were able to supplement with things we brought. Additionally, the fridge and microwave in the room made it convenient for making our own meals (with 3 kids and a budget that is sometimes a necessity) I would stay here again.

We were pleasantly surprised to find that the continental breakfast also included hot eggs and sausage. It was also helpful to have a fridge and microwave.

Friendly staff, easy check-in, safe location. The room had a funny smell and some dust, but overall clean. The breakfast was good but basic. All carb options, some protein and fruit choices would have been nice. The coffee was good and hot. Overall decent hotel for the price, especially booking last minute and accommodating a pet.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the room was clean and adequate for our needs. It's in a great location, just outside of town, but not too far to scoot in and enjoy the town. Our major complaint is that the beds are too hard. Some might like hard beds, but we are in our 70s, we need beds that are firm, but not too hard. We woke up each morning aching. But we loved the folks and location.

Checking in with Angie at the desk was a pleasure I indicated when booking 2nd floor or higher when she handed me room key it was 1st floor she apologized & quickly rectified it. The room was not as pictured different decor but was clean and bed was comfortable It is an older building but seems to be maintained. Cant speak on the breakfast as I sleep in. My niece enjoyed the pool as I did the hot tub. I would stay here again.

The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. They had a huge book in the lobby with all the local dining options with menus. Hot tub was refreshing after a long day of riding and walking around. There was a situation with a barking dog (1 1/2 hours of barking) and the woman at the front desk was right on it, call the owners to return and address the situations.
