There was no coffee available in the room or lobby area. The elevator was out of order which was not very convenient as 7 weeks after a total knee replacement, I had to negotiate 3 flights of stairs. The room was clean though

The lobby did not look like the picture. Sometimes you would have to wait for a staff member to come to the desk from the back. There was 1 small elevator in the lobby and the rest of the way to your room was outside. I found it more convenient to use The stairs near our room, but they were not well lit at night.

Check in is easy. There is an elevator to get to the rooms. The outside of the building along with stairwells needs a good cleanup and paint. Parking is easy and easy walk to restaurants. As far as the room, it was clean and updated. Beds are a little too firm for me. If you stay, ask for a room on the backside of the motel. The front side is noisy and makes it hard to sleep. The front door to the room needs to be replaced and or door seal would help the noise. Other than that its priced right for what you get.

This is an older building that has been modernized. The parking under the building is extremely convenient. In room refrigerator and microwave are great. Bathroom and sink area is modern and being separated allows two people to get ready at same time. Everything was clean, bed was comfortable, A/C worked great. Staff was welcoming and friendly. I would definitely stay at Escapes again.

The floors were extremely dirty. Children walking barefoot had the bottoms of their feet turn black. The facility needs to mop the floors regularly rather than just sweeping. There were numerous cobwebs and insects in the rooms, as well as large sections of paint peeling from the ceiling. Several lights in the room were also not functioning.

The room that they gave me first was really dirty. When I pulled down the sheet there were stains on it and holes in the blanket. There was visible smears on the headboard and speckles of a substance on the television. The floors were dirty as well. When I complained about the room, they said that some of their housekeeping staff were away on vacation so things might not have been cleaned as well. They moved me to a different room and it was a little better, sheets were clean, but the overall cleanliness of the room was not up to par. I don’t plan on staying at this location in the future.

We were pleasantly surprised to see the room layout/style very similar to high-end hotels! However, it fell short of five stars due to maintenance/cleanliness of baseboards and area in the corner section of the toilet area.

This was the worst hotel experience of my life. Mold on shower walls. Toilet seat had obviously not been cleaned. Floors were so dirty we had to wear shoes inside the room to keep our feet and socks from getting filthy. walls, doors, baseboards all dirty. Bath towels were thin, tiny and stained. We used our own towels as a result. We even placed blankets we had in our car on top of the bed sheets as they did not look very clean either. We seriously considered sleeping in our car but didn’t know if that was safe to do. If it wasn’t so late at night (10:40 pm) when we arrived, we would have sought out other accommodations. I would never recommend this facility to anyone.

Escape hotel in Hershey was very clean and comfortable. The sink, shower and toilet were all excellent condition. I liked not having carpet on the floors. It was very quiet in our room and we didn’t hear noise from other guests.

This was our first time in a motel. We stayed two nights. It was noisy with “city” traffic and sirens, with out side entrances. My only complaint is that the floor was dirty as I prefer bare feet.

The room itself was clean and the beds comfortable. However, the problem is our door had a huge gap between the door and the frame. You could look outside. The door did not close all the way. I did not feel secure. Bugs would crawl through the huge gaps. The bottom of the door was all bent up on the threshold also. It was only one night so we dealt with it. There are huge lights outside that attract the bugs. The hallways are filthy with cigarette butts every where and garbage laying around the bottom stair wells. There is a dumpster that smells and smells like garbage outside. We only stayed for a night to get some sleep and out of town.

Staff was very friendly! The room was very clean, minus the TV Remote which was super sticky. The air conditioner only worked if it was on full blast, so we either had to sweat or freeze. The property seemed in pretty good condition, but there was insulation foam chipping off around some of the air conditioners outside the rooms, and the elevator was really slow. It was a little loud in the morning, so it was hard to sleep past 6:30AM. I also wish they had a bigger parking lot, since it was hard to find a place to park when we came back late at night.

Front desk was very nice and very resourceful. The building is also a bit on the older side. The beds were not comfortable at all but we had been out at Hershey for a bit of time so everyone was tired and able to sleep. Rooms were also on the smaller side. Overall it served its purpose and was affordable.

My room is very clean, the Wi-Fi was fast and the AC worked great! I was a bit skeptical because the price was so cheap but I’m glad I decided to book. I will definitely be staying here again while I’m working at Hershey Hospital

Looked a little sketchy on the outside BUT rooms were renovated and very clean with a microwave, refrigerator, comfy beds and very nice flat screen TV! Overall we were very pleased! Very good customer service checking in late!

The property had some upgrades but was very outdated. The check in was seamless but the man that checked us in was abrupt and a bit unfriendly. It was semi clean but towels were scratchy and cheap and the amenities only included 2 bars of soap and a cheap shampoo tube.

Well my wife and I stayed there because we had an early appointment at the hospital for my 7 month old. Shes not allowed to eat after midnight and we get woke up at 2am to someone opening our room door because the front desk person gave the person my room also.

Staff is excellent dont let the outside fool you alittle old in appearance but rooms very comfortable clean staff very friendly we stay here every time we have to go to Penn State Milton Hersey Hospital. Hotel is across street from hospital. Convenient to grocery stores, restaurants pretty much everything you need

We stayed after a concert and the hotel was great about a slightly early check-in so that we had our room all set before leaving for the show. Also, they were right there to help out when we returned late at night and asked for an extra blanket. Our stay was short but we could not ask for better service!

We stayed here overnight for a concert at Hershey Stadium. It was very convenient for a one night stay. It is a very “no frills” hotel and did the job for what we needed. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming! The room was clean as well. The only very minor downside was that you were only provided soap and a shampoo, which again, was not an issue for us as we were prepared. Overall I think it was a great option for our needs and enjoyed the proximity to the venue.

Was looking for an inexpensive place to stay near Hershey Park and the price was right. They don't have a coffee maker in the room (my husband really wanted that) and it's kind of motel style if you know what I mean. There is no big air conditioned lobby or hallways but it served our purpose.

The website stated there was continental breakfast and there was not. No seating on balcony. Think layers of dust on baseboards as well as ironing board. Microwave was dirty. This is not what i expected and there were no other hotels near by to switch.

If looking for white glove treatment( breakfast none here), (24 hour staff for your complaints or whims) this hotel may not be for many. There is no coffee maker but the refrigerator is good. No freezer though, Microwave good, TV great. The staff is very nice and will make things great. This hotel is GREAT for a visit to Hershey Park , Giant stadium, etc. if you have a car. Very short distance from all. Most of all it is decent, quiet and tidy with lots of towels. I have no complaints for a one night stay, I hope to come back for 2 days next time.

Everything was fine at the hotel We were in Hershey for basketball tournament so we didn’t spend much time at hotel other than to sleep. It would have been nice to have some coffee in the lobby.

We were in town for one night for the Pitbull Concert. Was looking for a cheap but safe and reliable place to stay. Escape Inn nailed it. The motel was one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Across the street is a great barbecue restaurant.

Basic motel with pretty limited amenities, but it’s everything you need for a night or two. Close to a shopping center and multiple restaurants, and the restaurant right next door was very good and easy to just walk over. The beds were pretty comfortable, and the air conditioning worked very well. Great spot for a family of 4 on a budget.

Its not a fancy hotel with a nice lobby or a coffee maker in the room but it was clean, centrally located and the beds were nice. It does have a microwave and refrigerator. It rained a couple days we were there so the covered parking kept you dry getting to the lobby. What makes this an amazing stay was the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful and daily provided you with new towels and essentials as needed.

Our stay overall was pleasant. I really would like to alert the staff of this hotel to one very alarming thing. When we first checked in, my husband and I wanted to take showers. He went first and came out and said he almost slipped and fell because the tub was so slippery it was like an ice-skating rink. There was no mat or any other anti-slip devices. I was so scared I decided to forgo the shower. I would strongly advise correcting this, so they don't get sued. The only other criticism is there was no coffee. Travelers like coffee in the morning. But this is a decent hotel if you are on a budget. Just be careful in the bathroom.

I will, without a doubt, stay here again. I just needed a room for me and my son to stay overnight that was clean, safe and affordable, the inn checked all these boxes. Outwardly, the inn looks dated but the rooms themselves are clearly updated and nice! The beds were comfortable, everything worked (mini fridge, microwave, AC, shower, elevator) and it was quiet. Maybe 10 minutes away from Hershey Park, it was perfect. Thank you for a great experience!

We planned to stay here for our visit to Hershey for a concert at the stadium. We arrived on Saturday at 3 PM and we were informed the concert was rescheduled to Sunday evening instead. We spoke with the front desk as we had to return back home for our son & cancel our reservation. The front desk was no help at all and told us “good luck, you can’t cancel”. We reached out to support where we booked the hotel and they had to talk with the hotel for a week to determine if we could get a refund of any kind due to the circumstances. After a week, they declined to give us any refund even though we didn’t check into the room at all. We informed the front desk we weren’t checking in.
