Nice clean room and staff was helpful!

This could someday be a nice place in a pinch, but there is a lingering issue: pot smoke. Our first floor room was awash with the smell of pot smoke. It wasn't vapes because everything has the odor of old smoke. After a short time we were getting ready to leave for a few hours and it was to the point where the odor was sickening. The front desk offered to change our room, but seems uninterested in addressing the people actively smoking in adjacent rooms. We decided we would wait for our return, and the worst of the smell had dissipated and we were able to temper it with cologne all over the room. But first thing in the morning the wake and bakes started and the room was unlivable. To pay so much for this experience was a joke. Contrary to what some believe, and what many cities act like, the whole world isn’t high all the time. (Seems like the culprits are longer term residents. Is that possible? )

Checked in late with 2 kids and felt that front desk could have been more communicative and efficient- and not doing a sales pitch at that hour. Room itself was beautiful, overall very clean. Bathroom especially was beautiful and clean and spare. Some dust noted at back of bedframe, would be easy for them to dust and make it feel even cleaner. 4/6 pillows had large (nerf football sized) clumps/lumps of what I can only hope were feathers inside, making it really difficult to get comfy without a lump.

The only problems were that you couldn’t control the air conditioner and the Wi-Fi was out. The location was good. There were lots of stores in the general area. However, the stores were closed because it was Sunday.

Good experience. Clean. Staff lovely.
