Location whew at, property clean and well stocked. Super sweet to walk into a bottle of wine & snacks for both us and our dog. Honestly our only complaint would be that the deck is in need of some love and it would be awesome if it was plexiglassed for the view!

My husband and I and our 2 dogs loved it and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Dennis, the owner met us out front as we were unloading and was very pleasant. Upon entering, we were welcomed with a personalized, hand-written note, a bottle of wine chilling in the ice bucket, and snacks for us AND the dogs. Nice touch! The cottage had a fun surfer/coastal vibe and was very comfy. Kitchen is fully appointed with a large fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, waffle maker, full sets of dishes/cutlery/glassware/cooking utensils/pots & pans, as well as a nice array of seasonings/condiments for cooking. The front of the house has a sunny sitting area perfect for breakfast & coffee. The back deck has a wonderful view of the water and comfy chairs for relaxing or enjoying dinner and some wine. The whole yard is fenced, which allowed the dogs to move freely between the front and back of the cottage and visit with passersby. The Dog-Friendly beach (yay!) was easily accessible and about a 3–4 minute walk away. Our pups were living their best doggie lives there! All in all, it was a great stay, and we can't wait to come back.

Don't even know where to start. I opened the front door to a nice bottle of wine chilling in the ice bucket, yummy snacks on the counter, treats for my dog and fresh coffee in the cupboard. The sheets and towels were soft, and the cushions on the patio chairs and recliners were comfy. There were gale force winds outside but the fireplace inside was perfect! We'll be back. Thank you, Dennis!

I’ve worked in the vacation rental industry and I have to say this was one of the most thoughtful, well organized, stocked, clean places we’ve stayed. My dog was treated with a bowl of fresh water at the door, fallowed by treats inside. I was welcomed to a happy birthday banner, card and bottle of wine. It was very comfortable and charming. We borrowed beach chairs from friends but they had some there for us to use if we had needed. The lounge chairs on the back porch were super comfy to curl up with a good book or just enjoy the views and take in the sea air.

Dennis and Dan have done an excellent job creating such a welcoming space that is perfect for dog parents. The location of the cottage is ideal as it has a beautiful ocean view, fenced yard for the fur babies and walking distance to the local store/restaurant and beach. We were pleasantly surprised by the gifted champagne and hand written card in addition to the snacks and dog treats that were on the kitchen counter on arrival. Our stay was during a rainstorm, so we stayed inside most of the time with the lovely fireplace. Although we didn’t have the best weather, our time was still delightful as the home is well stocked for all of your needs (even supplies available should there be a power outage!). Everything is so well thought out. We would love to return for another stay in this gem. Thank you so much for your hospitality to Dennis, Dan, Rocket & Cali! :)

All the other reviews are accurate! And, from the point of view of two octogenarians, it’s works for us oldies too. FYI…3 easy steps down from street to property, 1 small step into house and house to back deck. Comfortable sofa and bed, great kitchen plus any and all supplies you will need. Quality, comfy deck furniture to watch the action off the deck. Short walk to beach is sloped but manageable. Appreciated the Printed directions for their TV and fireplaces. We brought our dog and were thankful that there were area rugs to keep her from slipping around on their beautiful floors. All in all, a wonderful little house for a wonderful getaway! Thank you fellas!

Greeted with a personal note and goodies. Very clean and Cozy. Quiet neighborhood. Convenient for walking. Easy access to beach. Comfortable bed. Very well stocked kitchen with quality products. Views throughout. General store across the street with live music on Saturday. Great deck with seating and loungers. Perfect for people watching and ocean breeze. Looking forward to going back again.

I can't say enough about this adorable cottage with a fabulous view and deck. Previous reviewers are right on. I love when that happens! I met one of the owners who couldn't be nicer. The kitchen is amazing. Everything on the inside has been updated. And that view! My dog and I spent much of our time cuddled on the large round wicker lounge on the deck enjoying people watching and just hanging out with a warm blanket to watch the sunset. I've stayed in more than 50 rentals within the past seven years. Dennis and Dan's place is as good as it gets for the price and for one or two people. Dog friendly to boot!

This was the perfect size for my mother and me. Pictures does not do this place justice. The views were outstanding, the little card wishing my mother a happy Mother's Day was over the top. I did not know what to expect, as this was the first time booking with VRBO, I want to come back to this place again. If I had to say something bad about this place, I couldn't. The cottage was very clean, loved the decor, general store was a two-minute walk away, the beach, 5-minute walk if that. Thank you VRBO and the owners for letting us stay there. The memories will leave a lasting smile on our faces.

This property is great. Although it's pet friendly, I felt it was very clean and no residual pet hair that you find in many places. The location is central, with easy walk to the local store, restaurant and beach. Since it's higher than the local "resort", you have a nice view of the ocean from the living room and deck. It's well equipped for kitchen use. I highly recommend it, feel it's well priced and would return.

The property is clean and has all of the amenities you can ask for. We originally booked the property because it was pet friendly and has a king sized bed. The bed is very comfortable. The best part of the property is the location. You are in walking distance to the beach, restaurant, and general store. We will not hesitate to book again.

The views of the beach and bay were spectacular. The home was perfect, clean, and comfortable. Doggy treats and people treats! Walk to the beach, grocery store and restaurant. The sunsets were so beautiful that we had to capture them on our phones

We had a great time at Dennis and Dan’s place! The house is well stocked with everything you could need. They went above and beyond by providing all sorts of little treats for humans and our dog! The bed was comfortable…we got great sleep in the quiet neighborhood. The view was spectacular and the 2 minute walk to the dog friendly beach was the best! We couldn’t have had a nicer time and look forward to making this regular our quick getaway!

This adorable home was exactly what my husband and I needed to get-away, decompress from life, and enjoy our anniversary. We have stayed at Dillon beach many times but this is by far our favorite home. Location is pristine. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The balcony was delightful to sit on to enjoy the cool, crisp air and the views. We will definitely be back! Thank you to the devoted hosts of this property for allowing us to stay here.

There is not a single thing I would change about this cozy cottage! The location was great, the kitchen was really well stocked, the furnishings were comfy and the owner Dennis was so welcoming and thoughtful.

I can't say enough about this adorable cottage with a fabulous view and deck. Previous reviewers are right on. I love when that happens! I met one of the owners who couldn't be nicer. The kitchen is amazing. Everything on the inside has been updated. And that view! My dog and I spent much of our time cuddled on the large round wicker lounge on the deck enjoying people watching and just hanging out with a warm blanket to watch the sunset. I've stayed in more than 50 rentals within the past seven years. Dennis and Dan's place is as good as it gets for the price and for one or two people. Dog friendly to boot!

My husband and I and our 2 dogs loved it and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Dennis, the owner met us out front as we were unloading and was very pleasant. Upon entering, we were welcomed with a personalized, hand-written note, a bottle of wine chilling in the ice bucket, and snacks for us AND the dogs. Nice touch! The cottage had a fun surfer/coastal vibe and was very comfy. Kitchen is fully appointed with a large fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, waffle maker, full sets of dishes/cutlery/glassware/cooking utensils/pots & pans, as well as a nice array of seasonings/condiments for cooking. The front of the house has a sunny sitting area perfect for breakfast & coffee. The back deck has a wonderful view of the water and comfy chairs for relaxing or enjoying dinner and some wine. The whole yard is fenced, which allowed the dogs to move freely between the front and back of the cottage and visit with passersby. The Dog-Friendly beach (yay!) was easily accessible and about a 3–4 minute walk away. Our pups were living their best doggie lives there! All in all, it was a great stay, and we can't wait to come back.

My boyfriend , myself and our two dogs came to stay for a couple of days for some much needed R and R.The house was perfect for our needs(including a birthday banner and birthday card for my boyfriend). The owners think of everything you might need and then some. Restful, peaceful and a great comfy bed. Looking forward to staying there again(maybe in December for my birthday).Thanks again Dennis for understanding about the date changes.

Dennis and Dan have done an excellent job creating such a welcoming space that is perfect for dog parents. The location of the cottage is ideal as it has a beautiful ocean view, fenced yard for the fur babies and walking distance to the local store/restaurant and beach. We were pleasantly surprised by the gifted champagne and hand written card in addition to the snacks and dog treats that were on the kitchen counter on arrival. Our stay was during a rainstorm, so we stayed inside most of the time with the lovely fireplace. Although we didn’t have the best weather, our time was still delightful as the home is well stocked for all of your needs (even supplies available should there be a power outage!). Everything is so well thought out. We would love to return for another stay in this gem. Thank you so much for your hospitality to Dennis, Dan, Rocket & Cali! :)

We really had a nice stay at Dennis and Dan’s Surf Shack. It was easy to just drop in, with our two little dogs, and everything we could need was provided for. Great views, quiet even with the weekend activity at Dillon Beach. Our dog Frodo loves being off leash and the walk down to the confluence with Tomales Bay perfect for us. Dennis was a welcoming and responsive host. Really a lovely spot. Thank you!

This property is great. Although it's pet friendly, I felt it was very clean and no residual pet hair that you find in many places. The location is central, with easy walk to the local store, restaurant and beach. Since it's higher than the local "resort", you have a nice view of the ocean from the living room and deck. It's well equipped for kitchen use. I highly recommend it, feel it's well priced and would return.

We had a great time at Dennis and Dan’s place! The house is well stocked with everything you could need. They went above and beyond by providing all sorts of little treats for humans and our dog! The bed was comfortable…we got great sleep in the quiet neighborhood. The view was spectacular and the 2 minute walk to the dog friendly beach was the best! We couldn’t have had a nicer time and look forward to making this regular our quick getaway!

Everything about this place was perfect and exactly what I needed. I was looking for a peaceful place for a personal retreat and it was just that. A two minute walk to the beach, store and restaurant. Beautiful sunsets. The house was so cute and comfortable. I didn't want to leave and I hope to be back many times in the future.

The property is clean and has all of the amenities you can ask for. We originally booked the property because it was pet friendly and has a king sized bed. The bed is very comfortable. The best part of the property is the location. You are in walking distance to the beach, restaurant, and general store. We will not hesitate to book again.

I love this place. It's my second visit within six months with my dog Lucky. It just has a great vibe and view! And I know Denys puts a lot of care into it. Location is great... you've got Pt. Reyes Station and Pt. Reyes National Park to your south and Bodega Bay to the north for day trips. I also enjoyed walking around the quaint beach neighborhood with hills and along the beach to the point this trip. Thanks Denys, I'll be back!

It was the perfect little cottage for our beach getaway. The hosts were so thoughtful - they left treats for us and our dog. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. It is right next to a great mercantile with coffee and soft serve! And it was a quick stroll to the beach (which is a great beach for dogs!).

All the other reviews are accurate! And, from the point of view of two octogenarians, it’s works for us oldies too. FYI…3 easy steps down from street to property, 1 small step into house and house to back deck. Comfortable sofa and bed, great kitchen plus any and all supplies you will need. Quality, comfy deck furniture to watch the action off the deck. Short walk to beach is sloped but manageable. Appreciated the Printed directions for their TV and fireplaces. We brought our dog and were thankful that there were area rugs to keep her from slipping around on their beautiful floors. All in all, a wonderful little house for a wonderful getaway! Thank you fellas!

The views of the beach and bay were spectacular. The home was perfect, clean, and comfortable. Doggy treats and people treats! Walk to the beach, grocery store and restaurant. The sunsets were so beautiful that we had to capture them on our phones

This property is a fully stocked gem!!! We love the proximity to the beach, cafe and Bodega Bay. The space was so cozy and comfortable and cute. We will definitely be booking again!

This was my third visit to this cozy surf cottage, and I love it! Even the dog was excited to be back when I pulled up. Lovely place and location, and even better in-person. Our favorite thing to do here is just hang out on the oversized deck lounge and watch the ocean. Dennis is a great host! You won't be disappointed.

This was a great place to get a little work done and relax. We loved the completely fenced in property for our dog, and nothing beats the incredible view of the ocean. Can't wait to go back!
