They put us in a room with men hanging out in front of our door smoking on the balcony as well as next door. People were in the parking lot below with cars running who were drinking and smoking and being loud. The front desk lady said because it was Friday night. They were workers and they lived there. I was given another room overlooking the green water pool. Found bug carcasses on the bathroom towels. The shower head wouldn’t stay in place and also shot water in all directions getting the ceiling and everything on the other side of the shower curtain wet. Other than that the beds were decent even though the pillows were lumpy. The front desk lady was nice. There was also trash all around the property we noticed when walking our dog.

First, the pictures are nothing like what’s posted. The pool was green and dirty and not filled up. The property was dirty and people living there appeared to be drug attics. People were walking around all over the property. I was supposed to stay a week for a baseball tournament but didn’t stay one night, I cancelled and was still charged for one night.

Terrible place! Dirty surroundings. We felt unsafe the whole time. Pool was green and has chairs thrown in it. There was no breakfast left at 8am. Not even coffee. The room was clean. The concierge was nice.

This hotel HAS ROACHES! There were roaches crawling on the wall of the room, across the floor and out of the tub faucet! The coffee pot provided in the room had MOLDY coffee pods in it, and management states there is No Housekeeping provided! This hotel is NOT what is advertised on the Expedia site! There is no free breakfast, not even coffee! There is no pool! There is no water park! The water park mentioned is not attached to the property, it is a 10 min drive away, it is not affiliated with the hotel in any way, and the (surcharge) mentioned is FULL admission, with not even a discount. This property was a waste of our money and the horrible part is we booked online in advance like a month for a King Suite.as when we got there our roon was not even available. They gave us a standard room. If we turned over we would have both been in the floor. The bed was small for us and we are a nice size couple. The bath light didn't work. E had to use our cellphone as a light to try and take a shower. Thanks God we brought our own cleaning supplies, so we had to clean the bathroom before we did anything, the toilet seat was broke, they have roaches on the wall. The landscaping is horrible. They staff doesn't look professional at all. The pool needed cleaning and sanitized and wasn't working and out of service there. They have broken pieces of rocks everywhere and scared we was gonna bust our tires. They did not try to offer any kind of refund or even partial. I will never tell anyone to stay there. Thier rates are 151 a night for a nasty room and I would not give it 1 star. They need to tear down and rebuild. I was very disappointed especially driving 3 hours and we had to go buy out own wash cloths and towels as well. I didn t feel safe using the old ones in the room. If we wasn't so tired after going to the race that night. We would have drove back 3 hours and sleep better in our own home. And kep out money and used it a way better place or some shopping. Our weekend was not go well because of the horrible service at this hotel.

The sheets were clean. Under the mattress was all sorts of hair and nasties. Drapes had burn holes in them and were broken. Bathroom was clean. The place smelled very strong like weed. People were hooting and hollering outside until about 3 am. Banging on doors, yelling, all sorts of noise. Breakfast was extremely sparse. Think uncrustables and sunny D. Yuck. I skipped it. Wont stay here again. It is cheap but in this case, there is very little value even at its budget price.

The bathroom was dirty. I had to clean the toilet. I sat down to eat and roaches started coming out the woodwork. Baseboards was filthy. There was trash in a corner. It was pitiful. If it wasn’t due to the fact I’d loose money by canceling and booking somewhere else. I’m so disappointed and dissatisfied. This was not quality at Quality Inn. I have photos but I guess on here you can’t submit photos.

Room was very dirty, curtains didn't close, security lock on door was damaged, counter in bathroom was broken, all the light had cracked shades, light fixtures were all rusty, ac filter was filthy, bathtub wouldn't drain.

Checked in and out within the same hour. I was in the room long enough to pull the blanket down and immediately seen a bed bug on the pillow. The floor was filthy with hair/dust/old food from previous tenants. Absolutely will not recommend.

The good: bed was comfortable, shower with hot water, a/c / heat worked, as well as frig. The bad: took 30 minutes to check in, security lock on door was broken, remote for tv was busted, shower had rusty remains of where handicap bar was broken off, light was broken and wire on it looked it had been chewed on, hole in bathroom where door handle had busted it out when opened too hard at some point. I slept, I showered so it met basic needs

For the price, I was certainly not expecting 5 star service, but I was expecting a better kept room. The freezing unit of the refrigerator was hopelessly caked in inches of frost. The facial tissue box was completely empty The toilet paper roll holder in the bathroom was stuffed with wads of tissue of undetermined condition (we didn't want to touch it). The shampoo dispenser was empty.

The host at the registration desk was very nice. Was able to check in a little earlier than expected. Room was just cleaned so she mentioned to watch out for wet floors. The bathroom needs attention. The hand bar was broken off from the wall and the rusty metal parts are still there. The toilet seat was sliding around. I fixed the left side but didn't have tools to tighten the right side. The towels were great, very soft. Plenty of hot water and decent pressure. There were some sketchy guests next to my room that were fighting for hours. At one point it went outside and just on the other side of my door. It calmed down around 1AM. I had to get up at 6AM. If someone addressed the screaming and whatever they were doing, I would have rated it higher.

From the moment we walked in the door to the lobby the entire experience was terrible. I had to call several times to get someone to come to the front desk. The first room they gave us did not have heat and they indicated that they knew of the problem when they gave us that room. The second room had a malfunctioning smoke detector. The third room was next door and you could still hear the smoke detector. Both of the last rooms had an overwhelming smell of air freshener. It was to cover up the smell of the bathrooms. We decided that we could not continue to stay at this location and asked for a refund so we could leave and find accommodations elsewhere. We decided that we could not continue to stay at this location and asked for a refund so we could leave and find accommodations elsewhere. The front desk staff member was very efficient and professional. There were No Smoking at this Property signs displayed, which I really appreciate. When i entered my room, it did smell of cigarettes as if someone had been there recently, or maybe in proximity to the room. The toilet was running but stopped with a jiggle of the handle. The sofa and chair were quite grimy and dirty. The bedspread had a cigarette burn hole and many stains, including a large splatch that looked like blood smears.

I was not able to check into the motel. No one was home, literally, arrived at the motel at 9:56 only to find the office door locked. A sign was posted that they were only accepting people with reservations and to come to room 111. I went to room 111 and no one was in the room. I then called the Quality inn number and no one answered. I did reach and answering machine and left word about my problem. I waited outside for over an hour. In the meantime I tried to get Hotels.com on the phone line. I couldn’t get a human to talk to. I was having trouble with my reservation number being accepted and after 45 minutes I gave up. I then called my credit card company to stop payment. It hadn’t hit the card so I was stymied yet again. Now, I had wasted almost two hours with trying to check in . I gave up and stayed in a flea bag motel down the street

I’ve stayed here several times over the past 15 years. The cleanliness and amenities seem to be lacking nowadays. The staff is nice. The price is fair for what you get. I’ll look for something better next time I’m in town.

The trouble was evident at check-in! One man was eating looking scrubby and the young lady was sneezing and wiping her nose with her hand! All while checking us in and trying to hand me something to sign! Add to that the fact that the guy went to “check the room” and when we got there it looked like a room that hadn’t been used, we discovered the toilet didn’t work when we returned from the hospital later that night, there was never any working phones in any room, when we called to report it we couldn’t, had to use our mobile. Eventually a young clerk came down ~11:30 at night to plunge the toilet which did not work! ALSO,when he took the lid off the back of the toilet there was so much MOLD, he couldn’t even scrub it off. I have come to the conclusion the first clerk, TIM, new that room was not rentable! It wasn’t cleaned and smelled of stale smoke. Then the clerk found a room for us where at least the toilet worked The room was not what I reserved: it had only one small king bed, I reserved two queens! So we had to get dressed, repack and change rooms. I want to point out that the one and only reason we had to come to Hartsville was because my sister had to have sudden major surgery and was being released that day. Since she is 83yrs and lives alone we didn’t have the option of searching and moving again.

They put us in a room with men hanging out in front of our door smoking on the balcony as well as next door. People were in the parking lot below with cars running who were drinking and smoking and being loud. The front desk lady said because it was Friday night. They were workers and they lived there. I was given another room overlooking the green water pool. Found bug carcasses on the bathroom towels. The shower head wouldn’t stay in place and also shot water in all directions getting the ceiling and everything on the other side of the shower curtain wet. Other than that the beds were decent even though the pillows were lumpy. The front desk lady was nice. There was also trash all around the property we noticed when walking our dog.

Last minute booking; resented as soon as I stepped in. The rooms are okay but outside is terrible and unhygienic. Rooms are non smoking but the pillows and sheets reeked of smoke. There was lots of shouting going at midnight and people loitering around. The front desk is friendly and helpful though.

First, the pictures are nothing like what’s posted. The pool was green and dirty and not filled up. The property was dirty and people living there appeared to be drug attics. People were walking around all over the property. I was supposed to stay a week for a baseball tournament but didn’t stay one night, I cancelled and was still charged for one night.

Terrible place! Dirty surroundings. We felt unsafe the whole time. Pool was green and has chairs thrown in it. There was no breakfast left at 8am. Not even coffee. The room was clean. The concierge was nice.

This room and exterior property were totally dirty. Deep cleaning not done. Buildup of dirt and grime. Beds were clean. Exterior property dirty. Howlers being house at hotel and loitering on premises making guests uncomfortable.

I did not like the fact we checked in late and the room was not ready and not clean. When they supposedly cleaned it there was a dirty wash rag left in the shower only two towels and the wash rags were dingy. Breakfast was a joke was told from 7 to 9 but they opened at 6 when we went down the kitchen had food spread all over the cabinets and the apples were starting to rot in areas and the only thing available was cereal and I ask if they were bringing out any else and the answer I received was the manager did not buy anything else that it. Positive side (the second shift desk clerk was having to leave her position to help clean rooms) she was very pleasant and did her best to help as she could. Hotel is in dire need of upgrades including employees

Dirt accumulated around intake of air conditioner, safely bar in shower ripped off with two holes left in shower wall, desk but no chair (broken desk chair laying under steps to second floor) the soap the size of my thumb, toilet paper holder broken, and when we went to breakfast around 8:00 AM it was closed and the shift manager said there was nothing left and the excuse was someone wiped them out. The hotel was not even 1/4 occupancy if that so I doubt that they were overwhelmed with customers.

The sheets were clean. Under the mattress was all sorts of hair and nasties. Drapes had burn holes in them and were broken. Bathroom was clean. The place smelled very strong like weed. People were hooting and hollering outside until about 3 am. Banging on doors, yelling, all sorts of noise. Breakfast was extremely sparse. Think uncrustables and sunny D. Yuck. I skipped it. Wont stay here again. It is cheap but in this case, there is very little value even at its budget price.

The continental breakfast was basically a waffle and a bottle of water, thats it, supposed to be eggs biscuits and gravy, juices, ceral and milk, fruit, and it had nothing! Coffee had grounds all in it, no sugar for coffee, terrible overall stay

I booked a king all they had was a full they said both of them cost the same amount and gave me a full although I booked a king online through Expedia. The pool is dirty. They accused me of stealing the towels and smoking in the room refused to give me my deposit back I will never stay here again.

I don't understand how you say that there is a $50 deposit and then before you know it you've been charged for your full stay? I left a day early and charged for 2. Also found a dead water bug in my room, the pool was full of algae son my grandson couldn't swim which was a reason choosing the hotel. Over all very disappointed. Oh an still waiting on my refund.

Used condoms on the ground in the parking area. The room had a previous leak from the ceiling, but the nasty residue was still on the floor underneath. The toilet handle was broken with visible dirt that should have been wiped clean. The light switch had flitth on and around it. The curtains had a massive stain on it. The room smelled like musty mildew and one of the nearby rooms had a smoke detector chipping all night long. There was no microwave as the pictures suggested, we did have a mini fridge Breakfast was just weird and uncomfortable.The breakfast room was a locked room that you had to be let in instead of an open area down the walkway alongside the rooms.The A/C was not working and the room was very warm.There were plain bagels but nothing to put on them, cereal but no milk, there was waffle mix and maker with sugar syrup, there was a half pitcher of orange juice and canister of coffee. It would have been nice to have a sugar-free syrup and access to water. This establishment did not speak quality.
