Super 8 by Wyndham Port Royal/Beaufort

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for our needs. The only bad thing was that the pool was closed but that wasn't a huge problem.

The pictures from the property are not even close to what it really is. Do not believe in the pictures. The pool was closed everyday.

Served the purpose for somewhere to stay but was filthy. Neighbors were loud and obnoxious. Room stunk horribly. Was given blood stained towels. Pool wasn’t even open but if it was I don’t think I would’ve swam. Nasty!

Parking was easy, the room and bathroom was dirty

I chose to stay here because of the pool and it was dirty and we were not able to use it.

Room was clean on arrival. Check inwas quick. Accomodated on first floor rooms. Parking was limited. Pool was inoperable. Metal bed frame skirtbwas annoying. Very convenient to where I needed to go. Overall it served its purpose.

Great service at the front desk and very clean room! Grab and go breakfast was falsely advertised on the website. The breakfast area wasn’t clean and the choices weren’t edible. The pool wasn’t working but we didn’t find that out until we got there. No refund or accommodations were made from the hotel for that error. If you just need a place to sleep then this is your spot. We were traveling with family and a special needs child.

Our room was nice and clean and comfortable. The pool was also enjoyable and clean.. The location is perfect because it is close to lot of stores and restaurants. Only complaint I have is about the coffee for breakfast is lukewarm and not hot But they do have a microwave to make it hotter. I did enjoy my stay and the staff was very nice

The walls were not clean… the water is scorching hot, it can burn your skin… they don’t have a real breakfast, they don’t carry forks, they didn’t have salt or pepper. The pool was closed for two of the three days I was staying there and didn’t bring basic needs to the room, like towel and soap. every morning. # THE PICTURE ONLINE LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE HOTEL.

Honestly, if I hadn’t been so tired I would have turned around and left after walking into my room. It did not look like the pictures! It was old, beat up and not at all clean. I found multiple hairs in my bed and a pubic hair on the towel by my sink. Dead bugs under the bed. Dust and grime everywhere. I woke up in the middle of the night to noise and the smell of weed. I’ve never been so happy to get up and check out in the morning!

We booked the room for two nights. The room was not cleaned at all. The floor wasn't vacuumed, the bathroom was disgusting and found roaches. We arrived late so had no choice but to stay the night. The next day we talked to the person behind the desk and told them. They seemed like it wasn't a surprise. I said that I wanted to cancel the next night and explained why and she said she couldn't do anything about it, then I asked to speak or the phone number of the manager and she would not. I am still trying to get a refund for the one night. I would NOT stay there!

Room was not clean and had a bad odor to it. The floor was so dirty you could not walk around the room barefoot without your feet turning black.

We had an exceptional stay. The room and the property was very clean. The desk help was spot on and price was wonderful. If ever there again, will definitely stay..

Dirty. Blood stains on sheet. Stained comforters. Mold. Cockroaches.

The only thing that was great was customer service. Everything thing else was bad. Dirty room ,bed sheets . It had flies ,roaches , bed bugs AND BED SHEETS STAINED. Wifi didn't work and pool area was closed . I left the room clean . PLEASE CLEAN THE FLOOR ,WALLS AND BED SHEETS. I HAD TO BUY BED SHEETS !!! Will never come here again.

The property was dirty

The hotel was very dirty. A cockroach came out of the tissue box. I didn't know I booked a smoking room and it pure stunk like cigarette smoke. The hotel gave us some spray to use, again gross! My family left the next day and stayed some where else.

Clean room the beds where comfortable

The property did NOT look like it is in the same condition as shown in in the photos. The room next to me had many people yelling and being loud all night. The next room (adjoining) was smoking weed when I check in, my room stunk. The rap music started playing around 10 pm. The yelling and screaming continued until about 2 am. No I didn’t complain because I was fearful they would know who complained. The condition of the property was awful. Room was dirty, floors were chipped up. Drywall was roughly patched and painted. Tub and shower was caulked with nasty areas. Pool closed for whole season. My room 119 was right by the dumpster with the doors swung wide open so all the trash is falling out on to the floor. Just gross.

The room was not clean enough, no maid service. The "Superstar" breakfast was pitiful. Cereal, tiny muffins only but thankfully apples. The room smelled like old smoking stink. Bathroom fan either didn\'t work or was non-existent.

This place is a dangerous mess. I’m including pictures so you can decide for yourself. The room was clean, but the faucet never shut off. The grounds are extremely dangerous! If you do stay here, make sure you are downstairs. The stairs to the second floor are probably ten inches high. I tried to add photos but the app won’t let me.

We chose this motel because it was affordable and a short drive to Parris Island for grandson's graduation from Marine Corps boot camp. The motel room gave the appearance as having been updated. The decor was nice, to include bed coverings and nice wall art. However, when we arrived in our room we found that the fridge was leaking water on the floor, the TV wouldn't come on and the microwave not operating. We realized that all three were plugged into a power strip, which was plugged into another power strip, which was plugged into a household type extension cord! Somewhere along the way one of those had become unplugged. Bedside lamps were plugged into extension cords. Don't think that set up would be approved by the fire marshall! When we wiped up the water from the leaking fridge with tissues, the tissues were absolutely black. Made us wonder how often the floors are actually cleaned. We had no issues with the cleanliness of the bathroom fixtures. They seemed to very clean. The bath towels were small and thin but we made them work. We weren't expecting a fancy breakfast but truthfully it was disappointing - no bowls for cereal, only one lid left for coffee cup (coffee from a thermos type container), napkin tray w/3 napkins left. The other breakfast choices - a banana-nut mini-muffin and/or an apple from a bowl. We stayed four nights and each day the same. The food area was not well cleaned except for Sunday am the desk clerk did a great job. She was very friendly.

I was expecting a basic, no-frills hotel room. That is what I got, for the most part. The room was clean for the most part but seemed old and shabby and it didn't have a coffee maker. The part I really didn't expect was how noise travels from one room to the next. One night I heard my neighbor's TV. Another night...at 3AM I was woken by a very spirited conversation between 5 or 6 people next door. Despite how convenient it is to Parris Island and Beaufort I would not stay again.

They DID NOT have my reseveration, Told me they did not receive it. 1st time use you ever happen.

The customer service was great.

Horrible staff!! Made me give a $100 cash deposit after paying for the room, when I tried to check out I was told that my deposit disappeared! I had to call the police to get my deposit back before I can leave!

For a hotel in this price range it's very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Very short walking distance to a couple of restaurants and a grocery store.

Check in host was very nice and fast.

The Front desk person did not believe we had a reservation. Gave us a hard time. ask my ID and charge card for her to make copies. before she open the door for us to enter to front office. Gave us a room with a broken bathroom mirror room. We did not like the room and her service.

We arrived from Georgia and upon checking in was told our reservation was cancelled. We chose the “Reserve now pay at hotel” option as we ALWAYS do and they tried to take the charges the day before. Due to the card on file being locked, the pmt couldn’t be made and the reservation was cancelled. We were lucky enough to find another hotel for a higher price. I feel if the room is to be paid at hotel, they should stick to that choice!

We were 12 hrs away from home at the Marine graduation in a totally new place to us, the staff was amazing and so very accommodating. Would definitely recommend them.

Our stay was very nice and we highly recommend to stay here. Very convenient location not far from places to see and eat.

The parking was great right on front of our room easy to get there i went there because of the Marines very quickly your on to Base

The room was clean. The hotel was perfect to stay at for Marine Graduation easy access to Parris Island every thing was perfect.

Very good location, no breakfast but Waffle House close by.

It's in a convenient and quiet location. It's a good place to stay during the Marines' graduation date. It is closer to Parish Island Marines Base.

We stayed here for my son's Marine graduation. It was a great choice. Easy to get to base and easy access to local restaurants. Highly recommend.

Convenient location

It was in a central location for parks in the area, and close to the MCRD that you could get there within 15 minutes.

Breakfast - 3 different cereals and 1 kind of mini muffins. Coffee, OJ, apple juice.

Rooms did not look as shown when reservation was made, cleanliness was not good at all. Breakfast area was not good. Poor selection for breakfast.

Poor choices for breakfast, definitely not what we are use to. Box of cereal and a gallon of milk is not what I expected. Every where else gives you eggs potatoes and sausage or bacon. Also pancakes or waffles. Over all not a bad stay, but I won't be back.

The desk could not process my American Express we tried two different cards. They wanted cash but eventually took a master card. First 10 channels on TV all religious. Last 10 channels ponorgorphy. The breakfast advertised was an apple they had drinks for sale. This place stunk and was dirty.

I try to give everyone a fair shake and the benefit of the doubt, but with that said, this place was the epitome of the term “dump”. It starts with the staff…dirty, impolite, lack for words. Then there was the free “breakfast”….mini powdered donuts and cold cereal….that was it!! No coffee, no bowls for the cereal and no staff at the desk for help locating bowls and utensils. As for the room….bed was comfortable, and clean. That is the good news. The sink in the bathroom was backed up, no toilet paper (had to buy my own roll), and the room had a deep stench of mildew. I beared with it all for a few nights knowing I was out all day and only needed a bed to sleep in and a shower. Not all Super 8’s are created equal, however this one will make me think twice about any Super 8 again!!
